They had found a hill where a lot of human villagers had been setting up for the lights. Many families carried lanterns. Others carried fireworks. It was dusk now, and Eden laid out a blanket she had bought from the market, sitting on it.
They laid down on their blanket and Eden rested her head on his chest, looking at the gently glowing lanterns around them in the early evening. “When do we release them?”
