Ruh Roh (One on One)

“Great. I will.”

 

She clapped her wings, floating up the stairs.

 

She got to the bed and her eyes finally returned to their warm gold color as she sat down.

 

She beamed up at him, reaching for him.

 

“Hey,” she said quietly, pulling back to look at him. “I really, really like you.”

 

She drummed her fingers on his chest, watching him thoughtfully.

“Like, I think I love you.”

 

She squinted at him before kissing him deeply, her hands moving to run through his hair.

 

She pulled him closer, wrapping her legs around him and kissing his neck slowly, cupping his jaw with her hand.

 

She looked up at him, her hand over his heart.

“I love you too.”

 

She kissed him again, softer this time.

“We fit together.”
