There's no scar, but once I fell asleep eating dinner and got a fork stuck inbetween my eyeball and eyelid. Worth a mention, I guess.
I did the same thing with a bamboo kabob skewer...but no scar, so I didnt think it was worth mentioned...glad to know Im not alone
I feel the need for a brohoof, yet I'm not sure what kind. Eyeballinjurybrohoof? Anyway, just remembered a more notable incident. When I lived in my old house (a tiny old Victorian flat in a horrible run down area), we had 2 front doors; the front door, and the door leading to our floor (despite being built as a house, it was used as a flat). One day, while opening the second door, the handle came off. I fell forward, and the little spike thing that held the handle on went inti my top gum. It completely annihilated my top teeth, essentially ripping them out. For a good few years I had no top teeth. Luckily, this was before I was 10, so I didn't have to go through the judgmental hell of high school with my top fron teeth missing.
No scar as far as I can tell, but I tried to slid under a falling metal door. I failed smashed my head into it. I learned my leason that day, don't slid feet first, dive head first instead.
Ogawd fell asleep eating dinner? Onto various dangerous instruments? That sounds like a bad day. For anypony. Also 5 pages! Wow! This is just amazing. I can't wait to read more.
Yeah that's.... unfortunately very true Silver. It's amazing at how much people can hate at something that they clearly know nothing about. It just saddens me.
Uh-oh, we're not going into psychological scars are we? That'll increase this thread longer than "General Chat"! Any ways, another non-scar story. In the old apartment I lived in, there was a storage garage the tenants could use, and my girlfriend (now wife) and I got some furniture from my dad, so we put the old furniture that came with the apartment in the garage. My friend Richard came over to help as well. Once we got all the old furniture in there, I was closing the door, and I'm not sure how I did it, but I got my hand caught between the door and the wall, pinching it very firmly. I didn't have the leverage to lift the door with one hand, and it wasn't really hurting at first, so I just waved to my friends and father, trying to get their attention. They just kept on talking. Since I wasn't hurting, I started to wonder how long it would take them to notice I was just standing here by a partially closed door. Turns out, quite a while. So, when it started to hurt, I finally yelled, "Hey! Help here?!" Had a nice cut across my knuckles, which to this day, makes it look like I have "fighters knuckles," as some one once said to me. Adding to my scariness, I suppose.
The only way you can get psychological scars is if you let it happen, and who cares what some dumb nonpony thinks? They're just closed minded and pathetic little beings whose only mission in life is to make you feel bad about the things you like, and dagnabbit, those of us who love ponies are much more important than them. Also, to keep on topic, my knuckles are all scarred up because of things. Innocent things. ^^ And I've got countless scars on my hands from working at a metal fab shop for years.
what an odd thread I have a scar going right over my entire middle finger on my left had. I got it when I burnt my hand during work.. I also have a series of small scars and scratches on my hand when I fell up a set of stairs. There is a massive graze/scar running down one of my legs when I tripped and slid on concrete.
Right now I have a scar on my finger from when I accidentally cut it pretty badly with a butter knife (you have to admit, THAT takes skill.) That was roughly a month ago. I also have another scar which I don't really feel like elaborating on, and judging by the detail, would probably end up being illegal.
Psycological scars... ... ... ... http://www.everypony.com/forums/sho...p-Childhood-with-Alchoholism&highlight=Messed ...There you go. You know my Psychological scars... Could anyone PLEASE explain to me how to make a link appear as a single word? I may be tech savvy, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.
http://goo.gl/ ^that's what you're looking for. As for scars, like I think I have said before I have no physical ones I'm aware of... Feel free to search for my previous threads, if you really need to find emotional ones though. But it's somewhat buried. Just returning to the topic.
Well I think at some point I'll make a forum to see if we can help everypony come to terms with their emotional scars. I'l wait till I get to know everypony first before even thinking about delving into that though. I don't like to pry ^-^ Buuuuuuut for now I shall add to my scars. Ah have a scar on my thumb from when I shoved a razor into it trying to peel stickers off my dresser. The cabinet shifted and WHUMP halfway through my thumb. Felt great (mega sarcasm) Also have a bunch of small now invisible scars from all the various pizza cutters throughout the past 5 years that seem to hate me.
cut my finger two years ago while washing dishes, the glass broke with my hand inside of the cup and it cut me deep on the bottom side of my right hand index finger, i can still see it today
Yep, so long as the RP is going I'll accept sign up. I kind of want it to be a long term role play. If the house fills up people can have there OC live in the Horse Head Bay (The town where the Glass House sits outside of).
