This is so awesome. Rainbow Dash is the greatest, after seeing this, I think she has every right to brag about her abilities. I knew she was good, but I never realized she was this good. This also gave me the idea that Hasbro should make a crossover between Transformers and MLP FIM. I would surely watch that. Though I have a feeling the Transformers would get owned by ponies. When you think about it many ponies have crazy skills, Dash is among the best, but I would not underestimate Twilight or Pinkie Pie either, the later can even break laws of physics and defy all reason by somehow keeping up with Dash. Equestria is far from defenseless, the champions of harmony have defeated what is basicly chaos incarnate, what threat would a few robots pose?
I saw this a few days ago. My first impressions was that they were going to make Rainbow Dash look wimpy and not have actually been correct about her abilities just because shes a pony. Starscream is pretty lame at fighting so I would have probably punched my monitor out if she lost.
Derpy appears in the bottom left at one point during the battle, she is hard to miss. Saying that MLP is bigger than transformers is a bold, albeit correct statement to make. Im glad it was a globally recognised internet community that made this however, if any brony had made this then they would have been accused of bias.
If you're going off the physics (or lack of physics) of the moves Rainbow Dash has executed then yeah, it'd make sense she could beat Star-scream But if you think about it from a more practical point of view killing Star-scream just involves some nuts and bolts, killing Rainbow Dash would be in much lower tastes given the nature of the show - gore and ponies don't mix well, especially in legal situations (Screw Attack's pretty big, and thus target-able). And on top of that you have the troll-face urge to make RD win because pissing off a bunch of transformers fans by having one of their main characters defeated by a colorful weaponless pony is sure to be entertaining. All in all from an unbiased perspective it'd be better for them to make RD win, I doubt it was written specifically by a brony - they probably just figured it'd be an interesting matchup and wanted to hit up on the internet popularity of the moment.
