Things would get boring if the mane six acted exactly in the parameters of their element. There wouldn't be as much drama if they were absolutely perfect characters. :V

yeah, I thought it was pretty mean. They should have made the party for both of them. Leave it to Pinky Pie to be considerate of his feelings though. Hopefully they made it up to him later.

I really enjoyed this episode, definitely one of the best this season. I liked the story with AJ, even though I kinda guessed the reason why she wouldn't tell them. Derpy talking had me shocked, I actually had no idea of what I thought she'd sound like but I like her voice. Does this mean Derpy will talk more regularly? Pinkie in this episode was awesome, but I think i'd lose it if I was stuck with her XD. And I was kinda hoping Rarity would say "This is...the...worst...possible thing!" when they read AJ's letter
The gist of AJ's problem was obvious early on, but I expected her to have placed first in all but one event!
This was my favorite episode. No,not just because Derpy talked (I HATE her voice!) It's because the plot(Actual plot!) moved along smoothly,and made me remember why I like MLP:FIM in the first place! Pinkie had two seens,getting angry over the Pinkie promise,and when trying to annoy AJ. Also, Rainbow Dash showed her loyalty with her friend to get her back. Twilight used her smarts and planned the route. Fluttershy and Rarity had the least importance in the episode,but still.luttershy shyly asking to slow down made my day,Rarity and her threat at the end of the episode too. Apple Jack,it made me smile when the ribbons came out. I actually thought she wasn't comming back because she didn't have a blue strap,although there were red and black ones. I liked that episode because it made sense, it seemed like a normal episode from like Spongebob(THE GOOD GENERATION) Still,if I showed it to my friends,who had no opinion of My Little Pony,they'd love it!
Am I the only one who actually prefers Derpy's old voice? I think it's cuter and fits the character better. When I write Derpy, I picture her with her old voice. I really wish we could hear Derpy talk with her old voice.
If you got Friendship Express it had the episode as it originally aired. That's the whole reason I got the DVD was so that I could hear Derpy's original voice and her being called by name. When I have more pocket money I'll start picking up the season set, so I guess I'll eventually see the edited version of the Ep. I did like Derpy's voice just fine as it was.
I though most people preferred original Derpy, wasn't there some big campaign to bring her back after they edited the episode?
I looked this episode up right after watching Lesson Zero and after I had seen the original Derpy clip. I got a REAL kick out of the I Love Lucy reference and the chase sequence at the end was epic. It's safe to say that this is the episode that really won me over... and it was just my 2nd!!!
