this was one of best episodes yet. Rarity's moment:"I'll destroy her", big mac's lines, the whole episode was awesome 5/5
Diamond Tiara? Did your Voice just Change? Anyway, This Episode had tons of humor I had myself laughing to it. Angel's moment was the best. I'LL DESTROY HER!!! Applejack = Big Mac and Big Mac = Applekjack.
I didn't watch this episode at the time because it was a CMC episode, and I had the family reunion. ARE YOU TELLING ME IT WAS ACTUALLY GOOD?!
Then again most CMC episodes, mike, have barely anything of the other characters. I feel that they should definitly make MOAR of these style episodes!
So, what did I think about this episode. Well...I've seen this before, but at least it had some good points. For example, anything dealing with Rarity, the clever use of the embarrassing moments as pictures, The gum, and moments with the cutie mark Crusaders (That last story was a nice twist I have to say). For some reason, Big Mac Talking and Applejack saying Eyup and Nope wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be. However, the problem I had with the episode was how everyone treated the CMC. Yes, I get that they had written gossip about the ponies. HOWEVER, these are the same ponies who enjoyed it, and didn't mind until someone wrote one about them. And Also, they felt BAD about it. Come on! Give them some slack! Really, I believe that the CMC aren't really at fault here. I don't believe they are much at fault because they were given positive feedback, and they kept doing it because everyone liked it. Also, at some point I believe Diamond Tiara should of been punished more. Even more so with the Blackmailing! I'm going to have to give it a 6/10.
I thought that this was maybe the best episode. Not my favourite, but the best. I love how they don't forget the plot and characters of previous episodes. Easily a 5/5, I completely underestimated it.
Same here, I usually hate CMC episodes. I still have a hatred for Applebloom, but hey ho. Anypony notice Gilda and Nightmare Moon silhouettes on the back of the first newspaper that Rarity read?

The overall plot was predictable, so I just shut my brain off and enjoyed the mayhem. The mane 6's reactions to thier colums were just hilarous, and made the episode for me. It's a solid one for season 2 in my opinon, good for a day when you just wanna watch something fun ; )
1-So, all of Ponyville, including the Mane six, turns on the Cutie Mark Crusaders THAT quickly? Even Applejack and Rarity? I find hypocritical that they react this way when they have forgiven the Mane Six for far, FAR worse things. Twilight mind-raped everyone in beating each other senseless with the Want it Need It Spell. Applejack almost destroyed Ponyville TWICE in "Applebuck Season". She also failed to win the prize money that Mayor Mare was so obsessed with (and that Ponyville needed) in "The Last Roundup". Pinkie Pie caused mass histeria and panic by lying about Luna being Nightmare Moon again. And then there's Fluttershy's behaviour in "Putting Your Hoof Down". They are willing to forgive them for all of this, but they turn on the Cutie Mark Crusaders just for spreading gossip. 2-Only at the very end of the episode do the Cutie Mark Crusaders think of telling Cheerilee about Diamond Tiara. Not when it's clear that Diamond Tiara wants to turn the Foal Free Press into a tabloid, not at the point where Cherilee is the only adult not mad at them, no, they do it at the very end. 3-You know, had Sweetie Belle not stolen Rarity's diary and instead caught Rarity with the hooves in the cookie jar some other way, the Cutie Mark Crusaders would have remained anonymous and none of this would have happened. 4-Finally...this is the subplot of "Superman 4". You know, when Ross Webster buys the Daily Planet and wants to turn into a tabloid. They are honestly stealing a plot element from one of the worst superhero movies of all time.
I'm assuming that's the modern lingo version of "take a chill pill". Why should I? These boards are for discussing episodes, and that's what I'm doing. Or do you honestly expect me to speak favorably of EVERY episode?
That's not that unrealistic. People don't really like it when someone is spreading gossip about them. Also siblings fight for far less all the time. But the mane six has done a lot of things for people. They have saved the town more times then they have destroyed it. If some persons saved the world (twice), I wouldn't care if they did some things that almost destroyed a town. Especially not if they then fixed the problem. The CMC however haven't done anything. I wouldn't be surprised if people only saw them as "those annoying kids" before they started to write gossip. Wow, kids that don't tell adults about their problems, that never happens in reality. And your point is? Also there is more likely that people would prefer a story about something emberising then a story about someone who eats a cookie. Try to think of something original, I can bet you 100 dollars that someone already wrote a book/movie/play about it.
