I'm suddenly rather excited for this episode. Apart from Twi becoming Alicorn, which I still feel irritated about, but the rest of the episode looks like it'll be fun. xD

This is it, Bronies! I'm personally pretty excited. In light of all of the bad *squee!* that's happened to us this season, I think Twilight turning into an Alicorn will turn out pretty nice.
EARLY SPOILER: Why in the world is Ponyville's entire well being dependent on six ponies?! Geez, without them, it's a dreary, angry place for everyone if some cutie marks are scrambled up!
Eh, this episode was a stretch for me. Like the Discord episode, it would have been better fleshed out into two episodes. Half the episode was singing. xD Not good pacing, I think.
Dat musical! I though it was a great episode. The one huge thing was it was definatly rushed but they only had 22 minutes to do it so it is reasonable. But OMFG the music this episode was amazing! I loved it so much. 1 question though? How does Twilight know how to fly already? I also loved the Pinkie spit take. That was a knee slapper! 9.5/10 (Would be perfect if it was a 2 parter)
I'm sorry... but was I the only one who didn't enjoy this episode? In 3 different chats, everyone was freaking out about how much they loved it. I just... didn't.
I loved the episode but I'm confused and terrified of what is going to happen now! Why did they do this to us!! But now I need season four to be here so I know what happens.
I enjoyed it, even if it DID turn out to be a musical. All hail the new princess!!! On a sadder note, WHAT THE HAY AM I GOING TO DO UNTIL SEASON 4!? I really want to see where this goes. Oh well, at least NASCAR starts soon!
WAY too rushed. Yeah, it needed another episode to make it feel more complete. I don't know how I feel about this, let me just ramble a few things off. PRO: - The feels I had when the ponies had their lives flash before their eyes! - The song that went with that scene. - VINYL! I actually wouldn't mind if she becomes what Derpy once was. -Rarity questioning if she was still in a nightmare. xD - Celestia singing. That whole ethereal scene was very cool. CONS: -Yep, the princess thing. Twilight will never have a normal day in Ponyville again. -Wow, a perfect flyer already? Yay. >.> -Most of the other songs were very meh. - I wish they could've had Twilight's parents there to know what they thought. So yeah, there was good and there was bad. Goodbye normal Ponyville life.

EPIC EPISODE! Loved the songs...especially True, True Friend. the Fluttershy bearhug was adorable! The Pinkie Spit take was hilarious And Shining Armor said exactly what I was thinking at the end...cause I was tearing up with "Liquid Pride" at the end too. I'm so glad I avoided all the spoilers. It was totally worth it! BEST EPISODE EVER!!! Only bad part is the long wait for Season 4.
Pretty much what I think. But Twilight's parents WERE there, during the coronation. They were crying.
