Season 4 Expectations/Hopes

There's only one thing I want for Christmas Season 4.

And that's not as many bloody spoilers. However with the way they released a massive preview at SDCC and had little leaks all through Season 2 and DEFINITELY Season 3 with the whole alicorn Twilight thing, I'm finding that very unlikely.

Which is a shame really, the cool thing about the Season 2 finale was that no-one knew what was going to happen, there were massive surprises and new exciting things at every turn, but the Season 3 one was quite lackluster and rubbish because let's admit it, all the way through you were thinking, "So when does Twilight get her wings"

This season I could reall do without the spoilers. Just today someone posted a meme on chzburger that blatantly gave away a giant S4 plot point.

1. I was too tired to remember it thank god.

2. It might not have been totally accurate or even true at all, but c'mon...

 

Not knowing what was going to happen in the season 2 finale was the best part. It also is one of the reasons why Cadance is by far my favorite princess. Just that moment when Twilight found the real one and....hhhhnnnnngggg... Probably the happiest moment I had in the entire series. I'm starting to get all emotional. I'll stop.

 

I'm glad I didn't delve too far into the fandom when I first took an interest. I was able to go from Season 1 right up to the last episode of Season 3 without seeing a single spoiler.

On an unrelated note, your Celestia gif is almost hypnotic. It reminds me of the pea chewing scene from that one episode of the Powerpuff Girls.

I did some research, the premire for season 4 is comming out on Saturday, November 23!!!!

Well, Rarity has been confirmed to get at least more then one episode in Season 4, so there's that at least. And I'm not entirely sure, but I think that the writers hinted at another possible Trixie appearence. *Cue happy Echoax*

 

Eh. Not point being happy until it happens.

 

When was that confirmed exactly?

 

I think it was confirmed on a Bronycon panel that had some writers on it {Which I think you can find a summary of on Reddit}. And if your really skeptical about Rarity not getting an episode in S4, keep in mind that the only reasons she didn't get one in the 3rd season was because A: Spike At Your Service was suppose to be her episode, but Megan Mcarthy thought that Rarity came off as being too mean in the inital script, so they changed it to an AJ episode instead, and B: Season 3 was way shorter then the other seasons, and with there being too many main characters for the show {The mane 6, Spike and the CMC's} someone was likely gonna get the short end of the stick anyway.
