Well I thought it was really interesting how they had a pony who (*gasp*!) didn't really become anyone's new friend, even though they tried. Quite different from the usual, I feel. Plus, her character is so cool... Yeah, I liked it. Why does this show have so many rocks? Rocky, Tom, the rock farm, rock towers, Boulder... Lotta rocks.
This episode... wait for it... ROCKED!!! I actually really like Maud. Her dry demeanor kinda reminded me of Ronnie from Home Improvement. It's refreshing to see a character that doesn't have an uber-flashy personality. 7/10
I actually think this was one of, if not THEbest episodes of this season. Maud had an amazing design. I've always loved color schemes like that... But again NO SONG!! I'm getting tired of not having songs... I like the return of tank. We hadn't seen him in a while... I think they kind of overdid it with mauds rocky personality... (Hah hah. Joke) I mean, I like ponies but not everything I say has to do with them... I liked her attitude. Especially with applejack and rainbow dash. "It tastes like apples..." Best line I've heard. She seemed very sarcastic. It was probably her voice but I absolutely loved it. I really appreciate the bond pinkie and Maude have and honestly wish I could have something like that... Anyways! I liked the rock pins pinkie made "getting her rocktorate in rock science." This was a solid 8/10. It would have been a 9 1/2 if it had a good song...
I'm definitely giving this episode a 10/10. Also, we now have definitive proof that Earth Ponies are a force to reckoned with.
I only got to see the last 5 minutes of it because I forgot 'Merica's clocks went forward. I'll give my analysis when I can see the episode from "Other" sources. Also, who the fudge is Raven.

The Boulder approves of this episode! Also proves once again that Earth Ponies are FAR from inferior beings. And she fits your personality 100%. From now on i'll probably read all your posts in her voice...
Good episode! What a deadpan voice Maud had!(Then again, working on a rock farm all her life with not much going on, I could understand.) This ep does a good job explaining that not everypony can be close buddies, but at least they can be respected. If only we could see Pinkie's other sister. What's she like? Overall, 8/10
I liked this one. The deadpan voice acting was perfect for Maud. Also, the Kaiser helmet. I lost it. They should have her do some stand up comedy and have Pinkie be the only one to laugh at it. Well, Pinkie and me. :derpe:
