Glad you're safe Saikyo! Hopefully your internet connection will be able to stay up through the rest of it that did hit.

So there was a confirmed tornado on the ground? I still don't see any tornadoes reported yesterday from the SPC, but maybe they haven't updated it yet.

Lucky you! In more ways than one! Thankfully nothing really bad happened, and also you're lucky because you got a decent storm by the sound of it. By looking at these radar images, it looks pretty sweet.

The last tornado warning I had was on August 20th. Well, technically I wasn't under it. It was issued a couple miles to the east after the storm had passed. The storm had some frequent lightning, torrential rain, moderate winds and pea-size hail. While it was here, I was watching the storm, of course. I noticed an abrupt wind shift as soon as the hail core passed by, which concerned me. About one minute after I noticed this, the warning was issued for Doppler indicated rotation. Fortunately, a tornado did not develop.

Did it pour Chocolate Rain, Saikyo?

It's been raining here for a week and a half, almost non-stop. It's going to stop today, then start again for another week... :/
