"I thought Sigmar told you that I was stubborn," says Rashall yelling back, of course he had heard her he had good hearing.
"He did. I just learn things from experience, not hearing it." Marina calls back exiting the woods, carrying a large bundle of grass. Levitating it over to Rashall, she smiles. "That should be enough."
Rashall starts eating, slowly though not wanting to make himself sick. "Thanks I owe you my life," he says between mouth fulls of grass.
"Well, not really. I didn't heal you or anything, the most I've done is give you grass." Marina says matter-of-factly.
"Yeah, but that's not really hard. All you did was sleep." Marina sighed. "You should know. I can be hard to thank. I don't mean to be like that, it's just the way I am."
Without warning Rashall leans over and kisses Marina on the forehead. "Then I am glad that you are you," he says with a smile.
"Y-yeah, I-I guess you did...." Marina says rubbing the back of her head, still blushing. "And.. well.. we'll see." Marina says giving a sly look.
Rashall just nods, "Well then lets get you to the pool, which isn't at all that far away. Looks like I'll be going for a bit of a swim," he says just prior to jumping in the water and starts to swim to the pool.
"Okie dokie lokie!" Marina says using Pinkie's line. As she dives underwater she feels her tail grow out again. She swims forward matching her pace with Rashall's.
After about a minute Rashall reaches the beach near the tidal pool, and nearly collapses from the exertion. "Don't worry about me, get in the pool and we can begin," he says between raged gasps.
Marina tries to resist the urge to help. She just pulls herself into the pool and clenches her teeth.
Rashall approaches the pool slowly and an ancient mantra can be heard on the breeze. The words seem distant as though coming from both Rashall and the trees as well as the sea itself, a sudden light envelopes Marina her tails and gills fade away as she turns back into a normal mare. Before Rashall can explain or say where they need to go he collapses to the ground knocked out form the exertion of energy, though this time he comes back round quickly enough even if he can't move for a little while.
Marina keeps her eyes closed. She can't really tell what she's feeling. She tries to grasp the situation, but her mind feels as if it's water itself. Her eyes suddenly shoot open. She is a regular mare from what she can tell. It takes her a moment to think of an idea. Closing her eyes once more, she thinks of a fish tail and gills. Almost instantly, she feels her tail grow out again. "Rashall, it worked!" she exclaims in delight.
"Heh... I th...thought it would... but we still need to... get you to the other pool," says Rashall between gasps of air as he struggles to stand.
Marina thinks for a minute. "Here. Let me help." Her horn glows before he can object. After a few moments she looks at him with a tired smile. "There. I gave you some of my energy. Since you're the one doing most of the work, you need it more than me."
