Nexus shifts his weight pounding the clouds beneath him have the desired affect. Rashall turns around and looks at Marina. "Something wrong Marina? You can speak your mind here," says Rashall.
Marina realizes he isn't going to go until she says something. "Well, I could use a shower, but I don't need one badly." She lies, smelling like fish.
"Then why didn't you say so in the first place? Come on there's a seperate area for mares to shower I'll show you," says Nova walking alongside Rashall as he to starts to move out.
At the end of the med bay Rashall enters a door to the right while Nova points Marina to a door on the left indicating that that is where the showers for the mares are and then leaves. Rashall simply soaks in the shower letting the hot water slide through his mane and tail and over the rest of his body. He washes up with some soap and shampoo and then rinses it out, after this he gets out and dries himself with a towle and then walks out into the halway.
Marina had just turned off the water and began to pat herself dry when a green flash appeared in front of her face. She skidded back just in time as a small parcel and a note fell to the floor. Reading the note Marina sighed. "Juicy, how exactly did you know I was with someone?" She asked no one. Opening the package revealed two small boxes of juice. Marina smiled. She could already guess who the other one was for.
Rashall sat on his back legs in the hall thinking to himself about nothing in particular. He liked thinking alone and all but sometimes company was nice.
Marina spots Rashall and trots over levitating two small boxes behind her. Giving one to the pegasus, she says "Here. That's the best juice in all of Equestria! My friend Juicy sent them to me."
Rashall gave Marina a quizical look but took the juice box anyways and starts drinking it. "You're right this is very good and who's Juicy?" He asks sipping at short intervals on his straw.
Marina takes a long sip and sighs happily. "My friend back home. She was the first one to become my true friend. She was also the one that told me I was the Mermare. It used to be a joke- or at least I had thought- until.. well, yeah. I don't see her much anymore, but we wouldn't be able to live without each other. She's always sending me juice, because I love it and it's her talent." Marina says almost lovingly.
Rashall simply smiles finishing his juice, "Well then we better get to the bridge," he says dumping the now empty box in a trash can. He stands by a lift waiting for Marina.
Marina quickly follows finishing off her juice. She slowly and almost reluctantly throws away her juice box.
Marina sniffs. "I-I just miss all my friends so much... It's probably dumb to be so emotional. I'm sorry." Marina says looking away, ashamed for nearly crying.
Rashall walks up to Marina and draps his once wounded wing across her back, "Hey now no reason to get upset, I think of you as a friend as do all of my friends here on this cloud ship," the ship humms suddenly in agreement, "see you're not alone in that feeling either. I myself have many friends still back in Nekar that I long to see again, though they send me occasonal gifts and cards. You're not alone here Marina you have me and those in the Shadowed Forest."
"Come on lets get to the bridge," says Rashall with a smile stepping into the lift with Marina at his side. A few seconds later and they arrive at the end of hallway with the doors to the bridge directly ahead. The doors part revealing a medium sized room with a large viewscreen at the front. Numorus consols are dotted all throughout the bridge as well. "Commander on the deck!" Shouts a nearby wolf snapping to attention as he calls out, instantly all the others on the deck also snap to attention still at their stations. "As you all were, Fleet Captain take us home," says Rashall nodding to a wolf bedecked in a midnight blue flak lined coat. "Ahead one-third take us home," says the wolf to the helmspony nodding back at Rashall and bowing a little to Marina. With the orders given the cloud ship lurches into motion turning smoothly to the left.
Marina instantly feels sick. "I hope you would've told me it was a ship." she moans, slightly swaying. "I kinda get seasickness!" Marina says before leaning over the edge of the deck, emptying her stomach contents.
"How do you get seasickness in a cloud ship? We happent to be about 50,000 feet in the air at the moment," says the statistics officer who's boot Marina had graced with her stomachs contents. Rashall laughs slightly and nods at the junior officers knowledge.
"Well, I get motion sickness to be more precise." Marina pants, wiping her mouth with a shaky hoof. Looking at the officer she says "Sorry about your boot.." she slumps down to the ground. "It's gonna be a long ride." she whispers to herself.
