Dark Shine was not ammused. Murder was not an option, no matter what. Even when he is angry the most he will do is cause a Pony to safley wish they had not done something. That is why he did not like Cobra and he happilly showed it.

"They're probably dead." Fire said, flying over to Haze, "Don't worry, you get used to seeing the dead after awhile..." he then turned to Darkshine, "When at war, some ponies have to die. That's how it is."

Haze took off again, to carry on forward. "I've been fine thanks, Darshine. Just... Getting on with life. Been on a few adventures, the likes, but right now I'm a programmer. Yourself?"
Dark Shine smiled. This was much more pleasant. "I have been great thank you! Found out what my Special talent is. Still confused why i never knew..."
"haze if you look closely at the uniform you'll see a commanding officer badge on one of the ponies and if I remember correctly the order of superiority goes like this. Red stripe, blue stripe, White stripe, yellow stripe and finally purple stripe... Wait a minute whats this a strange machine" The machine was attached to the back of the ponies head looks like some device that stores and replaces their ponies thoughts. He clicked the play button on the side of the machine "kill me, KILL ME, the elder council took us from our homes we can't control ourselves any sign of reasoning and trying to convert us back will only turn into us dying painfully, killing us on the spot will be a much better and safer way do it please" (how's that for a plot twist)

"Cobra... Do not kill them again, there's no need for it." "That should be useful! Though, I'm not sure if it will be today." Haze looked ahead to see the first town they'd come across. "We should camp here tonight. In Hoofington. One of us should check the area, I've got a feeling there's some people there.Might be guards. We should secure it, it's getting dark." The sun was setting ahead of them. They would need rest ad shelter.
Fire looked at the katana with a smile, "Thanks, Cobra." he then looked towards the town, "I'll go make sure it's safe."
"I'll go too. I'll take a look around, search for any survivors... Maybe we should split up? It'd be faster that way"
"We'll be right back," Fire said to the rest of the group, "Alright, Haze, let's go." He said as he began to walk towards hoofington.
Retalius followed Firebreeze, "Your going to need my talent if we run into any trouble." he said. He wanted to spark conversation so he went with an obvious topic, "So my mother, Snow, what was she like when you knew her?" Retalius asked Firebreeze.
Haze tagged along a little behind Firebreeze. She looked at the town, with its smokey big buildings... It looked kinda scary. Nonetheless, she wanted to be there in case she was needed by any survivors. And besides, she was with Frebreeze- What could go wrong?
"Well," Fire said to Retalius while searching the streets, "I always thought of her to be very brave and resourceful. Her essence magic was also very impressive as well." He then heard talking within a building, "I'm going in, anyone who wants to can follow."
