(So i was right behind y'all.) Ashes arrived upstairs, and looked at the doors. His eyes hesitate on the last one, at the end of the hall. "Hey. I'll tyake the last one out there. So, if something happens, i'll look in all the chambers so we'll left nopony behind. G'night." He walked to his room, opened the door, and went straight to his bed. He slilently closed yhe door with his magic, and falled asleep almost instantly.
"I'll sleep on in the middle one." Retalius said, going into the middle right room and collapsing on the bed.
In his dreams, Fire was experiencing flash backs of victory, defeat, happiness, and sadness. He suddenly awoke and sat up, sweating and breathing deeply, "Son of a-" He said to himself, "Not this crap again..."
Haze Watched as the other ponies chose the rooms they were happiest with. She was left with a room on the left in the end, with a reasonably nice view over the country, away from the disgusting wreck of a town. Everything in the town was ruined, yet everything outside was... Just the same. She looked out the window, into the darkness. night was Haze's favourite time.Everything is so peaceful and quiet at night. And beautiful. The pegasus wanted to sit there all night and stare into the beautiful starry sky, but it was late, and they'd have to get up early the next morning. And she was tired. She climbed into bed, and dozed off into a quiet, peaceful sleep.
It was morning when Firebreeze awoke. He had a massive headache that seemed to be a result of the flash back dreams. He groaned as he got up and looked out the window at the new, sunny day. That alone put a smile on his face. He walked into the hallway and yelled out, "Time to wake up, my friends! We still got a long way to go!"
Ashes woke up to Firebreeze's words. He went out of his bed, and opened his door. He walked in the small hall to Firebreeze. "Good morning..."
Retalius walked out in the hall, already fully packed and ready to go, "Woke up half an hour ago." He explained to Firebreeze, "Now, once everypony's ready, I would suggest for us to move out, I don't think staying in one place for too long is very smart."
As Haze was awoken by the sudden noise around her, she began to slowly open her eyes. Everypony was getting up... Haze slowly sat up in bed, and then fell back onto her pillow. I'll just close my eyes, just a little longer...
Dark Shine never slept. He spent his time thinking, planning. He heard everypony begin to wake up so decided to check up on them. He thought he would check up on Haze first, so he knocked on her door. "Haze? You in there?"
Cobraheart noticed that darkshine had not slept. "dark, get some rest, you'll need it for the trek ahead. I wouldn't mind carrying you". Cobra removed the sword and hilt from his back and put it on his side.
Haze could hear Darkshines voice coming from outside. "Yeeeaaaehhh..." she replied. She decided it was time to get up, and pulled the covers off herself. Reaching for the floor clumsily whilst yawning, she attempted standing up, loosing her balance in the process. She walked over to the door, swiping up the map as she went. She already knew which direction to go in though. "Morning... So, it's possible we'll have to camp in the hills tonight... Then, we can stop at Denmilk tomorrow, though it'd probably be best to keep on going west."
"Morning, Haze. If we plan to sleepi in the hills tonight, i propose to gather some weapons. There's a lot of wild animals, and i'd like to make everypony safe. And, by this time, we should have guard turns when sleeping. Even in a royal castle, most dangers occurs at night. I don't need a lot of sleep; i could be that 'night guard'."
((RANDOM FACT; In Japan, the most dangerous time of day is the mornings.)) "We'll reach the hills after travelling through a forest, so we'll have to be on our guard then... Forests can be full of creepy stuff... After that, yeah, we can switch turns whilst the others sleep."
"I got that covered, having a friend who was a guard helps with this kind of stuff." Retalius said, "I hope you all are alright with MRE's." He said, taking several silver and brown packages from his saddlebag. "Let's see here, we have spagetti, vegi-raviloi, just to name a few. Oh, and they also come with a chocolate bar, a pack of juice, and silverware." Retalius read from the side of a package.
"Hum... Thanks, but no thanks. I'll wait to be in the forest to feed myself." (Oh damn. Poor japanese people. Afraid of everybody while they take their morning shower. O.O)
Dark Shine shook his head. "No thank you. I will pick off a few safe berries from the woods. I'll be fine without food till then."
