Firebreeze chuckled, "I haven't had an MRE since my days in the guard... Save me a vegi-ravioli, if you can."
"... Err... Don't worry about me, I don't need any food thanks." Her initial reply to such questions has, for some reason, always been no. She only wished that the subject hadn't been brought up- She hadn't realised just how hungry she was until that moment. Nonetheless, she decided to wait. She was sure to find some food in the forest. "... Maybe... we should get going? I mean, if we're to get to the hills by tonight, we'd better go quickly..."
"Whatever... Let's go." Haze went downstairs, and notice that the ponies who had let them stay were sat at the table. "Hey, thank you for letting us stay..."
Retalius went back into the room he had to make sure he had gotten everything when he looked out the window, "Uh guys, you might want to come look at this!" he called over his shoulder and turned his attention back down to the street, where almost 20 (visible) Unity guards were going house to house.
Firebreeze looked out the window, "Son of a-!" He exclaimed. He ran downstairs to the two colts who had allowed them to stay in the building, "Guys we need a way ou-," He was soon reintroduced to how he was welcomed the first time he met the colts, with guns in his face. "Do you like our little surprise?" One said. "I can't wait for our reward." They other said
Retalius watched the troops for a little longer, getting a grasp of exactly how many there were, and how long they had. It didn't look good, there was a total of 25, and at their current rate, they only had five minutes. Retalius pulled his trusty longsword and headed downstairs after Firebreeze, only to see him with guns pointed at his face. Retalius knew that if he charged, they would either kill Firebreeze before turning their guns on him, in that case he might kill one, or they could instantly go after him, which could be more beneficial to Firebreeze, but not himself. So he did something he didn't do after, he sneaked around them, getting behind them. He looked up at Firebreeze for the signal after catching his attention.
Fire smiled at Retalius and tried his best to signal out, 'Get the one on the right' using only his head. Fire gave the signal, which was the nod of his head and he used his machete to knock the gun out of the left colt's hand. Fire watched Retalius tackle the right colt when he finished off the left colt.
Retalius ended up on top of the right pony and with one swipe, took off his head. "Get the others, we need to leave, NOW!" Retalius said to Fire.
"The window in my room would lead out to the south, there's nopony there, find a way down, and we'll run to the forest! We can't fend against them all!" Haze was sure this was the only way of survival- How could they fight off 25 guards!?
Retalius shouted from downstairs, "There's also a back exit!", he shoved open the door and saw the forest, "Come on, we have 2 minutes now! Let's hurry up and go! Leave no trace, but don't worry about the bodies!"
"Sounds good to me!" Fire said, "Let's go!" Firebreeze ran to the door and waited for the others, "Come on, folks!"
( Buy the way guys, im going to be playing the Unity's Boss and some of the much tougher bad guys. If thats ok)
Ashes was standing right in the middle of the chaos. "C'mon, everypony stay behind me! Decide yourselves quick, i'll protect y'all!" His body morphed into a shield, and floated right in front of the group.
"Right, let's go!" Retalius said, and the group left. When Retalius closed the door, the front door burst open from the Unity guards.
The group traveled deep into the forest before stopping to think about what to do next. "Alright," Fire said, "Which forest are we in anyway? It doesn't feel like the Everfree forest or the Forest of Tears to me... And those are the only two forests I know."
