Her pupils disappeared, and she stood up. "Absolutely." The palm fronds fashioned into a roof, and settled on the top in a matter of seconds. The moon rose, and Luna glowed slightly.
"Heh... not bad, girly." Quick was, in fact, astonished by Luna's abilities, but he was not the type of pony to make a fuss over such things. "Welp... I'm gonna hit the sack. G'night, everypony."
She looked down at herself. "Oh, yeah. That happens. It's why I was so weak." she said, her voice softer, and smoother.
Raven had stayed silent for the rest of the time after his story, staying awake by whatever means necessary. Slowly, he started to feel better and better. When Eluuna began glowing, he turned his attention to her, but kept silent. After she had fashioned the roof, he forced himself to his feet. Feeling less dizzy this time and less confused, he edge his way towards the hut, keeping his eyes on Luna. "Y'know, I've heard of unicorns connected to the moon before. In fact, I've heard of unicorns connected to the sun and stars." He stopped in front of Luna. "Probably in the same boat as me. Lot of power, too much to use constantly." He chuckles. "Though it seems you have more control over it than I do."
Quick returned a few minutes later, grumbling conversationally. "It's hard to sleep when you kids won't shut up. Is the coffee ready yet?"
The white horn aura targeted the coffee, while another beam shot into the forest, while one more scanned the beach. The first one began to go about the preparations to make the bitter drink, the second pulled out some huge, soft leaves, and the third continued to scan. "Yes, well, being connected to the moon certainly has it's drawbacks." said Luna softly, thinking.
"We should get to building a fire, too." Narrowleaf suggested. "Anypony know how to start one?" he asked, smiling. "I sure as hell don't have a clue."
Yet another beam came from Luna's horn as she took the smaller sticks. "Heat come from many sources, but if imagine friction is the one we could use." The sticks rubbed against each other, creating a spark.
Raven smiles. "Alternatively, I could do this." He says. His horn sparks, lighting up as a swirl of colors. This is simple, he thinks. I shouldn't have to worry about this exploding in my face. The sticks, almost immediately after his horn lights up, become bathed in brilliant orange fire. However, he feels the bump on the side of his head explode in pain as he does. He yells out, his hoof shooting to the side of his head. Of course, I probably shouldn't be doing magic in this condition. He mouths several obscenities, rubbing the side of his head. "Bucking...ow...I'd suggest getting more fuel for the fire." He says quietly. "I think...I think I'll hold off on the magic for a while."
"Great goin', kid. Crazy and stupid. What a wonderful combination." Quick watched in amusement as Raven rubbed his obviously sore head. "I may just be an Earth Pony, but I know enough not to use damaged tools. Wait for your head to heal!"
"I'm sure that if he had been healthy, it would have worked." said Luna amiably. "Why don't you guys sleep for a while? I'll take watch."
Narrowleaf gave a loud yawn. "Y-Yeah, yeah. Go ahead, Luna-chan." He mumbled, lying down in the sand.
"I already said I ain't sleepin', girly. I suppose you'll just have to put up with me." Quick looked up and down the beach. Debris from the shipwreck was starting to wash ashore. "I'm gonna see if I can't find somethin' useful."
"You're not going to like what you find... I hope you can handle it." In the moonlight, Quick could see dozens of bloated corpses floating among the wreckage.
"No, I'm going to help." she decided. She placed the bag of lettuce on the ground, and her magic began to gently pick up the dead ponies.
Quick began gathering wood, and built a large funeral pyre. He then placed the bodies on the pyre. "We're gonna have to burn 'em. It's not gonna be pretty, but there are too many to bury. Can you light it?"
