"I don't think so" she said in a playful tune. She jumped up and pulled Bolt to her studio, "come on my exhibit is in an hour and I need three more pictures" Lace pulled out the canvas with the picture of her and Bolt, setting it gingerly against the wall before pulling out one of her many Art portfolios and setting them in front of Bolt to see.
"Those were my first pieces." Lace pulled out several more each one about 3 inches thick. "These are my most recent ones." Most of the painting were of them but some were of just Bolt wearing his armor or just being him. "I plan on doing one of you doing the sonic fire boom." She grinned, "what do you think? I can probably do that one in oil pastels, less dirty then paint."
"I doubt that hun!" She called from behind her stash of canvases "I really need to organize this place more."
"Yes I know you do but I'm saying a pictures can mean a thousand words but it never captures the true beauty!" A stack of portfolios fell on top of her but she simply pushed them off. "This is a mess!"
He levitated the portfolios off. "The only way that wouldn't be true is if you painted yourself." Bolt flirted
"You know I can't paint myself, I always have to have a certain good looking stallion besides me." She winked and continued to search through art.
Bolt blushed. "Oh, you. How about you paint some of my self created pyro spells. I've showed you those, right?" He asked.
"Paint your heart out, Lace...I'll be here, whatever you do. It will look great." He said. "I believe in you."
Lace felt her cheeks heat up, "your so sweet and wonderful." She gave him a quick kiss before hauling out the 3 pictures she picked out all of them of Bolt and her. She used a shrink spell on the big one and slipped it into her bag. "Ok I think I have everything." She touched her saddle bag, "paintings" the pointed to Bolt, "lucky charm and." She grabbed the house keys, "keys! Ok lets go!"
Lace locked the keys and adjusted her saddle bag on her back before heading to the art museum. "Its gonna probably be boring and you'll maybe have to meet alot of other ponies." Lace warned Bolt, "but some ponies might also buy my work! You probably know all of this.. I'm just so nervous!"
