So, you can't modify the server's coding, but can modify from the Admin Panel? If you could, it would be easy to the stuff that we asked for. EDIT: New idea- can we get more areas in the downloads section, such as Utilities, Documents, Games, and Videos? Utilities- any free program that we have made or we have access to can go here. Documents- writing, such as fan-fiction Games- games that we've developed Videos- even though we have YouTube, we sometimes have videos that we don't want to upload or that we can no longer access due to a copyright claim by Hasbro Inc. against MASTERLINKX.
Utilities was definitely a possibility, thing is though that keeping it virus free would take some work if we got a lot of members and atm we have few users capable of creating them. Documents, idk - since forums mainly hold text, seems like that'd be more suited for a thread in the writing forums, though I know sometimes things get pretty big so if someone writes something huge enough to be it's own document that might be a possibility. One thing to understand is that it's not for dumping everything pony into the site, the downloads should be limited to content that is original or you have explicit permission from the creator Now if it's something that doesn't necessarily have one, or can be mainly credited to hasbro (like something screenshot heavy) then it can be uploaded without permission so long as you credit the source (i.e hasbro) or if like say it's a collection of meme images in a series taken from like ponychan credited to ponychan. It's fairly difficult to say anything exactly, but it should be fairly easy to think to yourself whether or not it's an okay upload or not when you upload it.
More download options are pheasible. And no I can access all the code I (and apparently 99% of blueimp users) don't know how to code such a system for it. There is a released add-on that does the job/someone who has actually done it but I can't get to that website without twif's help.

It's not 'forum' power - The vb billing license details etc are in his name, naturally. It's still his site, he pays for it ^^ Only licensed members can access this forum the add-on is on - so I need to talk to him about getting ahold of a license linked account for it.
Could it be possible to have an official newspaper on the home page of the site? Where anypony can send in news about whatever they want and it would be posted there. Maybe just funny news. Like jokes and what not. Or have headliners now and again about stuff important.

Well your going to have to do some serious a**-kissing if you think I'm going to let you have a 'Jokey' FFA Newspaper on the front page of our site (You know the same one visitors first see and take as the first impression?) ^^ I see promise in the idea, but I'm not sure I can trust everypony
Here's what I'll do. I'll make a group where people can post what they want to be in the paper. Then I'll just skim through it when someone posts something. We can have stupid news and stuff, maybe even a serious section for some news.
Well, serious news *as in, actual news from the internet about ponies* is always *almost always* posted in the "Announcements" section *mainly by Grey or Me*, so no need for a "Serious page".
A role-play forum is doable, if you can get a fairly decent amount of votes on a poll in General Discussion (or here in site discussion as a new thread) I'll be happy to do it, but I'm not sure you'd find that many rpers here just yet. Of course, feel free to prove me wrong and I'll get right on it But not before a few more nods of agreement!
