(Mm. Heres an example of how a Commando would fight in hoof to hoof combat; they are ambushed from the side and tackled to the groumd, kick/punch to the center of where the ribcage meets the unprotected belly, causing them to lose their breath and drop their weapon out of natural reaction as they try to reclaim their breath, the Commando rolls to the side, taking out half of the enemy's legs from under them, popping up as quickly as possible as they get back, take out their rifle and fire away)
(Mokara is based off this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1Cb2d0ZUVs. I'll add some more filler to help advance the plot) The members of Beta and Alpha squad carefully circled Damien, who was blindfolded with a black cloth that reduced visibility to absolute zero and made sight impossible. Everything had to be relied on the senses as Damien stood perfectly still. The entire room went absolutely silent as the Commandos circled him quietly before making a move. One of them rushed towards him only for the MOCKINGBIRD to dodge with ease and plant a nasty blow to his head that sent him down. Two more Commandos then decided to take him on at once and rushed towards him with a series of blows, only for the blindfolded pony to block them as if nothing happened before kneeing one commando in the head while pulling himself upwards and roundhouse kick the other Commando in the face while in the air. A Commando pegasi appeared below Damien a second later as he tried to fly upwards to counter him in mid-air, only for Damien to take him by the shoulders while he came down, flip him over and threw him face first onto the ground. A second later, Damien could hear the final Commando trying not to show any signs of fear or retaliation, but also assumed that this one was deciding how to deal with him. While the Commando backed up for a brief moment, he then galloped at full speed towards Damien. The MOCKINGBIRD however, slid right between his legs across the ground. Before he realized what happened, Damien made a bird whistle to distract the Commando before delivering one final yet devastating blow to the Commandos head, sending him flying to a nearby wall. The Commandos around him were speechless about what they just seen. Using his limited yet rapidly improving magic skills, he removed the blindfold from his eyes just as the Commandos didn't know if they were to applaud or not. Most of them were still speechless, but an eventual applause soon erupted across the room.
Julion suddenly came out of his tent and silenced the applause, "Okay everypony, I have found something of extreme importance, something called "Equestria Prime", something that was supposed to have been used to break through the defenses of the Zebra capital in the War. We need to get it. However, it is in a Mark Co secure facility in Manehatten."
The Commandos instantly shot upwards when the Solider walked into the room, the MOCKINGBIRDS doing the same. Damien stood in the center of the room while the other five Commandos got back upright and positioned themselves. Silence filled the room while Julion spoke about a weapon that was powerful enough to break through the lines of the Zebra. And whatever it was, it must never be allowed into the hooves of slavers. (I might as well get my [censored] together and actually do something about my skype profile)
"Despite this...You should all know that in order to enter a secure Mark Co facility, you need to be a Mark Co employee, all of whom died long ago." Julion continued, "So unless any of you have an idea on how to fool the system.."
There was discussion between the various Commandos about multiple ideas onto how to make their way into the facility. Some thought of finding the bodies of former employees, but that since that the system it was ID proof, pretending to be an employee who died 200 years prior would not work. "Why don't we become new employees?" Damien's thought, his eyes seemed to dart this idea to his fellow companions, who seen the idea as a valid response.
"I have one" Damien replied as all eyes in the room turned to him. "While it might seem farfetched, I'm going to assume that any ideas would be helpful in this situation. My idea is that we become new employees. The system in the facility might not be aware of what has happened in the outside world, maybe to the system, the last day never happened. We could take up any appropriate uniforms and basically wait for the system to see if we fit the bill. If we do, then we can just waltz inside of the facility, take what we need including Equestria Prime, and return back to the Everfree." ----------------------------- Meanwhile, in Manehattan Upon attacking a Federation supply convoy that was sent to deliver purified water to Tenpony, Red Eye set his sights on trying to conquer the city and enslave anybody who called it home. From Friendship City to Fetlock, this soon became a power struggle between the slave master and a Steel Ranger outpost that had recently been set up. Unaware that the Commandos were soon coming in force, Red Eye also didn't expect that upon attacking the supply caravan and with Tenpony calling for assistance, that a small Federation force was on it's way to bring peace to the area.
(Can we try to keep Federation intervention to a minimum? I'ld like to try to stick relitively close to canon, and the Federation getting involved kinda breaks that whole "evil has a really good chance of winning" feel) "That wouldn't work." Julion simply replied, "New employees must be entered into the Mark Co central maneframe by Snow Mark herself, and considering she would have to be over 250 years old by now to do so. It's impossible."
(I was keeping it to a very low minimum, at least 10 ponies on that side that are essentially humanitarian and another five standard military recruits who would be sent as guards.) Damien fell silent for a brief second before another Commando looked over towards the Solider. "Is she even alive?"
"Well, the simple answer is no, unless she was either immortal or had some sort of life preserving tech that was far beyond the known capabilities of technology at that time." He said shortly.
The Commandos were busy discussing how exactly they could get past the immense security issues of the facility in Manehattan. They couldn't exactly walk through the front door, and any other possible way they could manage to think of didn't seem to work. Roger then thought about something. "Would the system scan Commando armor to be used as an identification measure?" Roger said.
"No, we've tried that before with other Mark Co facilities, never works as Commandos aren't Mark Co employees." Julion replied to Roger, "All we know is that a camera pops out, scans you, then denies access if you're not a Mark Co employee. What happens beyond that, we don't know, but knowing Mark Co, they probably have additional checks. And since secure facilities are underground, there's no gaining access any other way."
There was a large collective sigh from the group of Rangers while the Commandos tried to think about the ways they could make it inside of the facility. However, with all of the details they know about the facility and the system itself, coming up with any idea of a plan made the Commandos and MOCKINGBIRDs eventually ran out of ideas Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Suddenly, a group of scouts came into the camp surrounding a prisoner in light Comnando armor, a mare who's fur was white and mane blonde and falling over one of her eyes, the sight caused Julion's jaw to drop, a rare show of emotion, "Not...possible..." he muttered, but there she was, alive as ever, Snow Mark
The Commandos were suddenly in shock as they looked at Snow Mark, alive in plain sight, just standing there with Commando scouts. The MOCKINGBIRDS didn't particularly understand what was happening around them, but judging by what was happening, it was very significant. Eventually, Snow was taken further into the room until she stood directly infront of Julion. All of the MOCKINGBIRDS got up and gathered together in a corner, just watching the ordeal take place.
Snow glared at Julion, obviously mad about being captured, but remained silent. "Snow Mark. How in the Goddesses' name did you survive to this day? And seemingly younger?" She remained silent. "Hm. Well, I apologize for any mistreatment you migbt have gotten and the inconvience of the capture. I would like to introduce myself, I am the Soldier, descendant of your sister, Dark Light, and I have refounded her Commandos." The mare gave him an annoyed "I know" look at that last statement. "What? Gone mute?" Snow nodded
The MOCKINGBIRDS stood quietly together as they watched the ordeal take place. Snow wasn't going to speak, nor did she want to even if she wasn't "Mute". She couldn't stay quiet forever, she had to speak sooner or later.
Julion sent Snow off to a lavish quarter they had made for any employers who had to stay over night, however, he assigned guards to the building to make sure that Snow didn't leave and that no one who wasn't directly authorized by Julion (confirmed via a secret code only they, Julion, and whomever he sent would know)
The Mockingbirds slept inside the barracks with the rest of the Commando soldiers. The group of soldiers got along well with the rest of the Commandos, who they had already impressed during their training sessions. While relationships with the rest of the soldiers went well, the group was soon going to enter the fray in Manehattan. Unknowingly to them, what will occur to Damien during their time in the ruins of the cursed city will change him forever, and bring him to the absolute brink of death. (I just had a fought. Considering if we do a 'Evil Commandos' Rp, the Commandos would end up in a four-way power struggle against Red Eye, Steel Rangers and the Federation. Red Eye wouldn't be a serious problem unless in numbers and the Steel Rangers would put up a fight. But the Federation would be the biggest threat due to their numbers (At least over 100 thousand in the military alone), training and tech. Their size however is the Federations biggest weakness since they could be overstretched in resources and unable to defend borders properly in some areas if said area is bit hard enough. And if Julion fought Crimson to the death and if I remember correctly, Julions 'mind-hack' could be a massive advantage if used in combat since one of Crim's weaknesses is psychological magic, so Snows essence magic is an enormous weakness to him. But then again, when isn't it?) Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
