(I'ld say he got a couple new abilities; one is limb regeneration (kinda like Littlepip), that would be pretty cool and useful) "Taint got you, mutated you in someway that I'm not quite sure of." Snow replied.
(That would be pretty cool. I was thinking your standard improved powers, such as speed, strength, reflex and all that stuff. Damien was at peak human condition prior to finding himself in Equestria, he would Justbe considered superhuman because of what Taint's done to him. Limb regeneration would be cool, and Taint might have dramatically extended his lifespan, but some of the other abilities would be sort of a mystery for now.) Damien sighed as while he did indeed feel different, this was a feeling he would now need to get used to. He rose to his hooves and looked at his wounds, which were now completely healed. "I feel...how would I put this....stronger, then before." Damien said before looking into the other room. "I take it the others are still asleep?"
Several hours later Damien discovered that while he had mutated with taint, he had expectantly gained new powers that actually improved him instead of killing him. While being stronger, faster and more agile than anypony else in the group, his reaction time was improved to the point where he, like the head of state of a pony who rules a small country known as the 'Federation of Las Pegasus', could see in slow motion at will. While it didn't particularly sound interesting, this was a massive game-changer during combat. Another ability he had gained was a limited regeneration ability. While making himself lunch and accidentally cutting himself over a kitchen sink with a knife, he watched as the cut healed almost instantly. Damien, being Damien, decided to take things further and shot himself in the stomach with his revolver, which also managed to heal at an astonishing speed. The regeneration however, was still limited. While he could grow back entire limbs if he was injured enough, the regeneration could only do so with one limb at a time. This healing process was boosted whenever he was irradiated.
(Losing a head and regrowing it just fine is a bit much) Snow spent the time making sure Damien recovered well enough before waking up the MOCKINGBIRDs so they could speak with their comrade
(Yeah, thought it would be. Editing that part out now.) Once the Mockingbirds were awake, they were surprised to see how far Damien has come in terms of his healing ability. Not only were they pleasantly surprised, but facing death a week ago to walking about and doing normal tasks was a miracle. When he would be able to enter combat, nopony knew exactly. He could be ready now, but he would also be an absolute nightmare if he took time to study his new abilities.
(unless he gets shot in the head :3 oh, fun fact about White Hopes, they are slightly alcoholic, but the amount is virtually nonexistant when cooked and when it isnt it's like having "hard lemonade" or something, a very low level of it) Snow spent her time making sure her guests were comfortable and occasionally disappearing into her study, which despite appearing to lack a lock on it, no matter what the MOCKINGBIRDs did, they couldn't open it, as unknown to them, it had a magical enchantment Snow developed herself that would only open to her essence and her essence alone, in fact, it was only one of three in the house, each progressively stronger and more restrictive. One was around the house, which would only allow those within 30 feet of Snow inside and could have the list of allowed in and out expanded at any time, the study barrier only allowing her and those immediately around her in, then one more in her bunker that only allowed her in, no matter how closely one followed her. Unknown to the MOCKINGBIRDs, she was busy trying to make something that would put their group ahead of the rest of the Wasteland and protect them.
While the house was a view of pre-war luxury, the Mockingbirds enjoyed spending time relaxing instead of having to fight. Not only did it give them a time to heal any injuries or relax their minds, but it also gave them time to think about what role they would eventually play in the Equestrian wastes Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
3 days after Littlepip leaves the Stable Snow looked out of her window to see Ponyville on fire, "W-what the? Uh...GUYS???"
Damien, already being upstairs in the bathroom, ran over to Snow to see Snow in her study with the door unlocked. "What's the mat-oh...." He ran out of the room to take his armor and weapons before alerting the rest of the Rangers downstairs, who likewise did the same
Snow simply kept them in the living room, "As long as we stay inaide,we should be fine. The White Hope shpuld act as a fire line between here and Ponyville." She then turned her attention back outside to study the flames, "It looks like someone intentionally set them." She stated, "They didn't spresd from house to house, if that is any concolation."
"All the raiders are dead as well" Roger replied before running upstairs with Damien and Jack. "I thought that Ponyville was full of them." "There was..." Damien replied. "Then it doesn't explain the fire....What if somepo *cough* somebody knew that we were here?" Roger replied. Jack then took his scoped Brush Gun and looked through the scope for a few seconds, before moving his head slightly. "Oh dear..." Jack replied. "We have Commandos on the outskirts..."
"Don't worry." Snow simply replied, "They cant get in nor can they see us unless we sit at a window too long." She told them, "Permenant shield thing I have around my house"
The Mockingbirds went downstairs while Jack remained on the top floor, hidden from view with his Brush Gun to serve as a sight.
Julion looked over the burning town of Ponyville, and the ons house his troops couldnt even seem to get close to before being blocked by some invisible force. Nevertheless, he was far more concerned with who stole his opportunity to wipe out these raiders (only thing they had been keeping them alive was they always paid their rent on time, no matter how many times they raised it, up until just recently). Then, he turned back into the Everfree with Alpha squad and disappeared
As the Mockingbirds were downstairs, a message was transmitted through a radio. "Commandos are gone, you can come out now..." Jack transmitted.
Snow nodded, "So. Any idea what to do to get out of here? I'm sure you guys are tired of being cooped up, as large as this house is."
Jack came back down from the top floor while the others had an idea. "Maybe we could wait until the fire burns out?" he said. "It would take too long. I'm sure that Jack and me could just fly over Ponyville from the smoke and flames, we'll just have to take our leave. I guess." Ashley replied. "Or...we could go through the back door. I mean seriously, there is no fire or anything at all." Damien replied, looking at the back door as only some burning ruins remained. While only a few houses were burning, almost none of the houses were burning. "See?"
