Snow decided to go meet Damien in private after a few days, to talk to him about what he had told her. Finding him in the town that now had about 20 other ponies in it, she trotted cautiously up to him before saying, "Hey, Damien? Mind if I speak to you in private? I've been thinking about what you told me...about what I should do to make up for the sins of my past and all..."
"Of course" Damien simpily replied as they walked across the main street before eventually finding themselves in an isolated corner of a building, far away from all other interactions.
Snow took a breath and sat down, "I've been listening to DJ-pon3 on the radio, talking about a pony he refers to as the "Stable Dweller" who is performong various good deeds across the Wasteland. From the locations he was bringing up, it sounds like she's heading to Manehatten, probably to Tenpony as it sounds like the only bastion of civilization there. I want to go there, find this mare, find out what drives her and see if I can help her to make Equestria a better place."
"Alright, back to Manehatten we go." Damien replied, not wanting to remember the place he nearly died. "I should come with you when we meet her, we could learn a thing or two."
Snow and the group reached the guard checkpoint of Tenpony, which Snow bribed their way in through and then a mare who csst a spell over them, removing the ammo for their weapons from them. After reaching a quiet portion of the tower, Snow looked at her companions, "So, what shall we do? Someone needs to get us a room, another some clothes so we can blend in, and the others can either go with or explore."
The group of rangers looked another and discussed between themselves for a moment before they looked back at Snow. "I'll organize getting reservation for all of us, Ashley said she'll buy some clothes and everypony else seems to explore and relax. Damien wants to come with you."
Snow nodded, "Alright." She then motioned with her head to Damien to trot with her. As they headed down the halls, she began thinking, "Alright, so if this Stable Dweller wss headed here, no doubt it would be to try to talk to DJ Pon3 as he seems to know about things as they happen, so that should be our first stop, and since it is a radio station, I'll be willing tk bet that DJ-Pon3 lives near the top of the tower.." she said quietly to Damien
"Well, I guess that's a safe bet." Damien responded back as they went through a series of long corridors and a elevator trip before finding themselves at the top of the tower. But while they found themselves at the top floor, the lights were increasingly dim and Damien could help but hear the sound of love in one of the rooms. "I think we should wait a few minutes" Damien tried to say with a straight face, noticing that the room of the DJ was accidentally left slightly open. But it was obvious what was happening inside. Snow nodded slightly in agreement before closing the door quietly to block out the sounds, "Well then..." she muttered, "I did not expect that tohappen... (This kinda reminds me; going through the Fallout Equestria tag on Derpibooru always irks me because of all the pics of people shipping their usual PoS male OCs with Littlepip)
(Oh shipping. You sometimes work wonders....sometimes) After the next few minutes, the sounds inside of the room became louder and louder almost as if the mare inside sounded like she was in pain. Damien and Snow just waited politely outside, but trying not to turn red from embarrassment or not keep a straight face. By this point, Damien was almost laughing to himself. When the sounds inside of the room did stop, it only did so for a brief moment. Finally, a grey mare with a blue mane that looked like a birds nest poked her head from the door. "Oh hello! You must be new around here, my name is DJ Po....wait, did? "Yeah, we heard everything" Damien remarked. The mares face lit up and turned bright red. She looked behind her for a moment before and gesturing at somepony else in the room. She looked at Snow and Damien again, a puzzled look on her face as she looked at Snow. "I've seen your face before in old newspapers, yet I can't seem to remember your name." Homage said to Snow before looking at Damien. "And you....can't help but like you. You don't seem that you are from around here. Anyway, I need to get dressed. So I'm afraid that you both need to wait again for a few more minutes." Homage then closed the door....except it never fully shut and soon swung open to reveal the DJ and Littlepip's more "female" characteristics while being completely nude. Damien now could help but feel his entire face turn bright red and be completely speechless. Half a second later, Homage and Littlepip noticed, then Homage realised she never shut the door properly. (Uhm, Homage wouldn't have been so quick to reveal her identity, the only reason why she told Littlepip so quick is because she knew Littlepip was the Stable Dweller who had come to try to find DJ-Pon3 and all that neat stuff) Snow facehoofed, "You are really bad at closing doors aren't you?" She said, trying to make a joke to distract everypony from the embarrassing misshap, "And the name's Snow Mark." And with that, she closed the door fully this time to give them time to do whatever.
(Sorry, super late when I posted) Damien and Snow continued to wait another few minutes before they were finally allowed into the room. Once awkward tensions died down, Damien and Snow took a seat Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
As Snow took a seat, Homage cleared her throat and introduced herself, followed by Littlepip who was introduced as the "toaster repairpony", which Snow quickly determined was a joke from the look of Homage's face and Littlepip's reaction. "So what brings you here?" Homage asked Snow, "And just how did you manage to survive 200 years? You certainly don't look like a ghoul." "Well, I'm here because well, I was trying to find the "Stable Dweller", and from DJ Pon3's reports, it sounded like she was headed towards Manehatten, and after some quick investigation, I learned about Tenpony and how DJ Pon3 is based here, which lead me to think she was trying to go to the DJ. So here we are." Snow told Homage, "And as for how I survived? Well, lets just say I found a way, one that made me younger looking and feeling, and gave me this luscious long mane~" Snow joking flipped her extremely long mane out of her eyes before giggling slightly, "Anyways, and this is Damien, he's my friend and he thought he would come with me while the rest of our group runs errands. You see...We're kind of...lost really. Both of us have things we would like to try to make amends for by doing good, and from the way the DJ was talking about the Stable Dweller, she sounded like a beacon of good in which we could seek guidance fro-" Snow had noticed Littlepip looking ever more sheepish as she essentially complimented the Stable Dweller, but subtlety enough it wouldn't be obvious to ponies who wasnt looking for body language, "...You're her aren't you? You're the Stable Dweller?" Littlepip nodded slightly, obviously facehoofing herself inside at making her feeling obvious. Snow chuckled slightly at the small mare's reaction, then suddenly something hit her, all three mares in the room were small, herself included, while Damien stuck out like a sore thumb, and a small joke came to mind, "Hey Damien? How does it feel being the elephant in the room?"
Damien, who was almost a head taller than Snow, decided to play along with the joke and just shrugged his shoulders. "Could be worse." He said before laughing slightly. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Snow giggled slightly before clearing her throat and looking at Littlepip, "So, tell me, what drives you? What could we do to help the Wasteland?"
"Well..." Littlepip started. "It might be because of how I was raised, or because of the world around me. I guess the thought never really occurred to me, I guess I do what I do because I feel like helping the wasteland. I want to restore some hope and faith to a wasteland that doesn't have much at all." Damien nodded in agreement , finding some similarities between himself and this mare. He would wait until he was asked a question if he wanted to speak, busy paying attention to the conversation between the three mares Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
