"Go outside, show them we have no Mark Co tech, and try to remain friendly, they might tell you something interesting, and don't let them see me. You may be able to possibly defeat this group, but you couldn't possibly hold up against the whole army...especially if they're vengeful..." Snow told them. "Hurry up! We don't have all day! Come out now and surrender your Mark Co tech or we will be forced to enter and use force!"
"We need you to hide if they make it inside of the house." Jack replied before he looked at the Commandos outside and looked over at Damien who sighed in response before he swung the door open. They didn't take their rifles since it was Mark Co, but they all kept something up their sleeves if they were attacked. Damien went through the door first and waved his hooves out to reveal his pipbuck. "Don't shoot, don't shoot! We don't have any of your damn tech!" Damien cried out, followed by the others who followed the plan. If this plan failed, it would have resulted in a fight to the death. No matter how elite the Mockingbirds were in their world, they all knew that the Commandos could actually do some damage to them. And if it got to that point, there would be fatal consequences on both sides. Eventually, all six of them got close enough to the Commandos to properly talk their way out of this situation. "We are the Mockingbirds. How can we help you?" Damien casually began. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Fire Fury had no reaction to the name, obviously the Mockingbirds had remained a secret within the rank and file of Alpha and Beta squad, he simply looked over their dusters, before coming to the conclusion he must have mistaken their armor for Commando due to the dusters. "Well "Mockingbirds", if you don't have any tech then we don't have anything you could help with, besides maybe any nearby raider or slaver bases." He told them, "We Commandos have taken it upon ourselves to due a job no other faction in the Wasteland can; contain Red Eye and his slavers and try to clear as many raider nests as possible. If we force Red Eye to stay within the general area of Fillydelphia, he becomes an appealing target for the Enclave." Fury brushed a bit of dirt off his armor from the battle, "And we have proven to the Enclave that even in our scattered state while we attempt to hold back the tide of evil, we are not to be messed with, except for the poor ponies of Omega Charlie squad, their lack of experience well...for lack of a better term...renders most of them little more than cannon fodder. Anyways, if you don't have to tell us, we must be on our way. If you ever find the location of a raider, slaver, or Enclave camp on the surface, please immediately tell your closest Commando, we won't be too hard to find anymore." With that, he motioned to Delta squad who then seemingly vanished, going off to their next target.
Once the Commandos left, all of the Mockingbirds went back inside of the house and remained quiet until the Commandos were well and truly gone. "Ok Snow! They're gone now, you can come out!" Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
All of them noticed Snow coming out of the closet and were relieved to find her safe and sound. However, what they were told concerned the group. "Commandos are coming down in force against Red Eye, they are trying to limit his operations to the general Fillydelphia area so that he becomes a target for the Enclave. Might be for the best not to use any Mark.co tech from this point onwards." Damien replied. "That was damn close" Roger responded. "At least we know what's going on now." Snow nodded in agreement, "Though we are going to have to find me some armor of my own as I only have this light ARC armor." She said, "And what about our weapons?"
The group thought for a second before looking back at Snow. "We might be able to find you something that isn't related to any organization, and I think we might have something left over. It might not be Mark.Co level of tech, but it should at least keep you alive." Ashley said before picking up what appeared to be a Laser Rifle and Plasma Rifle that was salvaged from prior battles. "Take your pick, we'll find some armor in a minute."
"Yeah, let's go" Ashley responded just before noticing Benedict throw a set of clothing over to Snow that resembled a Merc Outfit. "This should do nicely, seems to be modified to have some protection."
(Oh, by the way, the inspiration behind my first guy's powers in Eluuna's new RP is tbat I've been thinking about a thing involving the Syrian civil war where a guy has those powers on a great scale and literally makes a large military base by himself and supplies needed to run a large army, gets a pretty good following, and introduces a brand new faction in the war.) Snow nodded before skrinking her armor into the Pip-buck like state before putting it on, putting her mane into a ponytail to help break up her usual look. Looking around at them, she gave them a questioning look, "How does this look?" She asked
"Looks good, you look pretty hard to tell apart from another wastelander now." Ashley said, as the other Mockingbirds in their Riot Gear made them look like Commandos, as pointed out when they had to convince Delta Squad. Snow looked like any other civilian, or stable dweller that changed clothing now with the pipbuck on her hoof. It would quite awkward to a bystander that a normal mare was being surrounded by six heavily armed ponies in jet black riot gear. Then again, they could act as supposed "bodyguards" who were merely companions and friends to the mare they surrounded themselves with.
Snow nodded, "Good. Then lets head out, I dont want to stay in one place too long." She said to them before heading out the door of the shack
(Eh, never mind) Julion looked out across the clouds from the entrance of Spike's cave, Littlepip, Calamity, Velvet Remedy and Spike had all set off for Neighvarro, to bring an end to the Enclave's reign of the skies and open the skies at long last. Next to him stood a ragtag group of the forces of the closet thing to good in the Wasteland, some Applejack's rangers, some of the ponies Littlepip had helped in her travels, and a group of Gaudwen's Talons, with him and Bloody Two representing the Rangers. He knew somewhere out there in Fillydelphia, well, formerly Red Eye's, now Captain Stern's forces and the Enclave's forces were about engage in the largest battle since the Great War, the other parts of Littlepip's plan, he didn't know, but from what he had learned of the little mare, it was bound to work. All he had to do was defend this position for some reason against any Enclave attack. All he knew is that they were guarding Equestria's greatest hope. "I hope after its all over, we get to go to Fillydelphia on the back of Equestria Prime and finally clear that place out once and for all." Bloody 2 remarked to Julion. "Agreed, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. But if Pip's plan works, the heart of the Enclave military would be ripped out and the only air power they'll have is their wings." He responded before settling down into a defensive position, today was going to be a long day...
Snow and the group of Rangers, after a few days of traveling, were left alone by the Enclave's forces. Moon managed to inform the group that since they saved her a few weeks ago, the Enclave was absolutely destroyed on the final stages of their attack of the Federation when they managed to reach Los Pegasus and that the Enclave was making one final attack against the slavers in Fillydelphia. While blending into the wastes, the group encountered it's first feral Hellhound. While it managed to get close and personal when it tried to kill Snow, the Hellhound was dealt with when Jack delivered a shot from a Anti-Material Rifle straight into the creatures eye. While it was a scary moment, the Rangers couldn't help but wonder the similarity between the Hellhounds of this world and the Deathclaws of their own. Moon, through communications, also told the group to stay clear from Fillydelphia due to the Enclave presence. However, they were not far out from the city and when a Commando force went past, they barely managed to hide Snow. Whatever was happening was going to be huge...
"Well, we can't go near Fillydelphia. We are currently at a half way point between the city and some other nearby settlements. They might be small enough and far enough away from Manehattan to not be a major target for the Enclave. We could head there" Roger replied. "Should we check a map, just for good measure?" Jack said "Never hurts..." Roger joked before looking at the pipbuck appearing device on the side of his hoof. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
