Crimson arrived to see Julion just after his speach, even through he was a 'Back Up' in the commandos nowadays, he still enjoyed to see the excietment in the crowd of commandos cheering for a new enemy to fight. Julion seemed to be happy, but Crimson was worryed about Eclipse. Crimson knew what Eclipse could do before the war but goddess help them if they could still do it after the war..... He then seen Julion appear before his eyes. "Nice to see you Julion, we might need more then the commandos to face Eclipse. if this is the same Eclipse, then we have a problem. They are the same organisation that destoryed Big Mountain, this fight is...... personal."
Julion merely shrugged, "Your fight is your fight, but I will defend New Equestria with my life, and these guys are threatening that nation, and throughfore need to be shown their place. And this will also be a great place to field test some new tech we've developed with the help of Applejack's Rangers. It includes so tech that Equestria was perfected towards the end, such as shield tech, that kinda stuff." He continued to walk past Crimson and started to head towards his office, "If you wish to continue speaking with me, you might want to follow."
Crimson followed Julion to his office, a thought came into his mind. "Julion, do you know about who is leading Eclipse. Because when i found big mountain destoryed, it was being lead by a zebra named Kaisar. He dissapeared only 4 years before the last day, he might still be alive and is leading the organisation. If i find out that he is alive, then this is much bigger then we thought."
Julion sighed, "As I said, I will do everything I can to reduce them to nothing that is a threat. Once that is done, I must withdraw Commando support from any final hunt as much as I hate to say it, New Equestria needs the Commandos guarding it's towns and cities, while we are off fighting, you know who takes over defense? The Talons, the f'ing TALONS, they aren't worth a flipping bottlecap compared to us! When they are in charge of defense, that's when bad things happen, crime goes up, raiders start popping back up! Julion slid back into his chair, "Sometimes I actually do think that peaceful is better, then I snap myself out of it and remember this ain't Namby-Pampy land."
" I agree with you. I know an entire organisation that can help us. They are like me, they were the remaining survivors from Big Mountain, 2nd generation super soliders and scientists that are as highly trained as any modern solider. They are very highly trained, and will love the opputunity to have their revenge against the very group that destoryed us." Crimson then shown Julion some major details about crimsons organisation. "I founded them 200 years ago, they are at Generation 6 at the moment. And we swore to serve the commandos, Equestria and the goddess herself." Crimson then sent a document from his pipboy to the printer in the room, and it suddenly began to print. "Think about it, the talons are not very good at defence, the commandos are defending citys unless you want them to attack, and the brotherhood of life will attack or defend some major locations pinpointed by myself. They will be a major war asset, so what do you say?"
Julion shrugged, "I guess, but let me just think over my strategy for this war, but luckily I have a feeling it will involve tactics that I'm quite familiar with, small-unit lightning raids. I also have a few surprises of my own design up my sleeves along side some of the tech the Ranger's have helped us develop. If you wish, I can give you a tour of the site where about half of it is."
"That always sounds nice, lead the way." Crimson and Julion then left the office as they made their way thowards the exit. "And thanks for letting the Brotherhood enter this war. We are going to strike down Eclipse with the very sky. After this tour, you can come with me and we can go see the brotherhood. You will be the first person in 200 years to be allowed inside our bunker. We have a saying to our enemys,Plagam Extremam Infligere....." Crimson said as him and Julion walked out the door.
Julion and Crimson caught a ride on a Vertibuck that would fly them to the site. As they waited, Julion decided to ask Crim something, "Hey, would you mind telling me all I need to know about Eclipse, because I know that info can be just a dangerous as the weapons."
Crimson took a deep breath in frustration that Eclipse is still active. "Eclipse is one of the most feared organisations known in history. They were believed to be originated from Equestrian and Zebra scientist and solider renegades and are lead by Kaisar, the leader of the zebra nation himself. Kaisar was never seen a week before the last day, and is suspected to be in their main bunker in the zebra nation. They also attempted to create super soldiers, and have had some success since that a few of their scientist have been from big mountain and I believe Mark Co as well. I’m going to kill Kaisar myself, he might have been augmented." “And Julion, during the last 240 something years I have been alive, you are the best solider I have ever seen, and a damn good friend. I just want you to be proud of your achievements. Looking at it now, being a leader of the commandos is quite of an achievement to begin with. But when I look at myself in the mirror, I’m a mad dog killer for the highest bidder, a created to serve its creators, I have don’t have what you have. You have it, and I’m proud of that." “When we stop eclipse. The first drinks on me......"
Julion smiled at that last part, "And second round will be on me." He added. Then he thought about what Crimson had said about him having something Crimson didn't have. He thought for quite a bit before he realized something, he realized that there were two things that he had over Crimson, he had a true life of his own, he got to make is own decisions. What had happened to Crimson had been forced upon him, and it more than likely changes him right down to his personality. The second thing was that Crimson had the curse of immortality, to live without end, it would be trying to get a major project done, with no deadline. You might think you have it all, but then it all comes crashing back down. Whatever friends Crimson made, he would outlive them and be forced to find new ones, death happens for a reason, and Julion knew that living without it must have been very strange.
“Immortality sounds nice to the common pony, and that their dream to outlive all is a achevement, i actully became this, but me and death himself don’t really agree on each other.” Crimson said as the vertibird then arrived at the facilty. The facility itself was enormous, not to mention heavily defended. The Vertibird then landed on a helipad while Crimson jumped out and landed on a concrete in perfect harmony. He then waited for Julion to exit the vertibird to begin the tour of the facility.
From the moment Julion's hoof touched the ground, he became surrounded by Commandos, scientists, and Rangers. But he easily dismissed them with a wave of his hoof and showed Crimson to their entrance, "I actually built this place to be the equivalent of many major Pre-Last Day research facilities, from Big Mountain to the Ministry of Magic. This facility also maintains the one of the largest Commando garrison in all of New Equestria, beat only by Fort Commando in the Everfree Forest." He stated proudly, "The greatest minds all come here to work on restoring the past and clearing the way to the future, as we cannot last forever on the backs of the Old World. I think your organization might be interested in setting up a branch here a well." Julion lead Crimson past a series of turrets that didn't look anything like the normal turrets out in Equestria as they entered the main building, "These here were developed right here in this very facility, they are called Mark X turrets and are much much more deadly than the common Mark VII turret. These things are installed everywhere across the facility, so even if somepony snuck inside to sabotage something, they would still be at risk of being reduced to their atomic particles."
“Im impressed and about my brotherhood having a branch here,they will love that. The Brotherhood of Life has waited ever since their creation in the old world to destroy their enemies, the same ones that almost destroyed us. For them to finally come back to Equestria is a dream come true. The Brotherhood hierarchy system is very different to that of a military rank system. We address eachother like what the steel rangers do, such as knight, paladin or elder. And even though we have the technology that even makes the rangers jealous; we are heavily secretive of our existence. Outsiders are almost always forbidden unless they do certain tasks that we could not do ourselves. We are the last of Big Mountain, and Iam the last survivor of the original Project Eternal. And with the benefits of creating another branch located here and my forces assisting yours, we don’t have to worry about much...” Crimson then stopped when he noticed a large map of the facility, and had a large smile on his face. “This is going to be a historic day for New Equestria, assemble everypony in the theatre. I’m going to make a speech that will rock New Equestria to its core.”
Julion smiled, knowing what Crimson was wanting to do, "Of course my friend, just make sure they you don't blow them too far back, I will want to follow you up." Within an hour, the entire facility staff had packed themself in the theater, reminiscent of the great meetings of the Ministries. Thousands of Commandos intermingled with even more scientist, while the theater itself was specially designed to quiet crowd conversation and easily carry the voices from the stages. Julion stood at the podium at center stage and cleared his throat, he didn't need a mic, or even a special theater in order to talk to this crowd, he's done it before. "Hello, Commandos, Researchers, Scientists. I would like to thank you for arriving here on time on such short notice. There is a very certain pony I would like you all to meet a close friend of mine. He has lived since the time of the Great War, and holds some of the greatest technology inside of him of the Old World. He is Crimson Lionheart, aka King of Diamonds."
Crimson walked up onto the stage while the audience applause. “Hello Everypony, my name is Crimson Lionheart and iam 245 years old. Iam the last remaining survivor of Big Mountain and the only survivor of Project Eternal. My body has been augmented to such a point that my skin and eyes are virtually indestructible. I have received many other augmentations such as speed, strength, my perception and many others. But what stands out is how I’m standing here today; I was implanted with the immortality chip, which completely stops the ageing process. But there was this malfunction in the chip, where the other unfortunate precipitants had died out. But never mind my past we can talk about that later, I came to talk to you today about a vital war asset against the enemy known as Eclipse." Crimsons voice could easily be heard across the stage. You see, Big Mountain was destroyed by them many years ago. I and the survivors of Big Mountain fought alongside the commandos and the legendary Dark Light herself. After returning home, the ministry mares built us an enormous bunker to help house us. Ever since the last day, we have been creating super soldiers without the need for augmentations. We have technology that makes the rangers jealous, the combat skills that for one of my soldiers is equivalent to 5 commandos and we are sworn to defend Equestria in her time of need. These soldiers should only be used as a last resort when the freedom of Equestria is at risk. We are the Brotherhood of Life, and we are legion. “So Enemies of freedom, hear me! We are the immortal rank of Equestria is with us and we are invincible. Our soldiers will strike you down. Our war machines will crush you under our treads. Our massive numbers will bring the very sky crashing upon you. You cannot win. The Goddess herself has given us her greatest weapon to wield, the immortal spirit of ponydoms will to survive the worst the world has to offer. So let me give you my assets to New Equestria, today is war and we will help you to the best to our ability."
A hoof raised in front of the audience before the applause got to loud and they silenced in respect as a scientist that looked well aged made his way to the podium. "Why thank you for the offer, eh, Crimson sir. But as it turns out, we are currently working on a super-soldier program of our own. So your helping of this process will be greatly appreciated." Julion walked up and nudged the scientist to the side, only saying, "Later." He then looked out to the crowd, even though he was more addressing Crimson, "I would once again like to thank Crimson for coming, but we here at F.A.K.S also have our own contributions that I am sure your group would love to get ahold of. But that is later, right now, we've got a war to fight, and that means I am going to enact full wartime operation of this facility. We shall pump out such great technology in such great numbers that Eclipse what even know what hit them." Then to the crowd he yelled, "DISMISSED!"
When the crowd left the theatre, Crimson knew that he could use brotherhood scientists to accelerate the super solider program at F.A.K.S and then use his soldiers to take important locations. “Julion.” Crimson begun. “Are you remaining in Equestria with the commandos? Because this could be big, I’m going to allow the brotherhood access here. Thanks for this opportunity, by the way.”
Julion raised an eyebrow, "Stay here? You think I will want to stay in Equestria while there is a war going on, and miss the first chance for a F.A.K.S. super-soldier to be field tested?"
"Nothing. Just a thought in the back of my mind." Crimson felt a bit embarased. "Do you want to come with me and tell the Brotherhood about what has happened. This could be your first chance for someone on the outside world to see the brotherhood in person in the last 200 years. You wont like to miss a chance like this..." - - Auto Merge - - "Nothing.
