Please stand by...perhaps...perhaps there is a problem. I am...I'am unsure how to proceed." "Shut yourself down. Shut down this whole place"
"Processing...Civilian is instructed to secure FEV vial or risk explosive decompression." Jonathan, not wanting to risk anything quickly grabbed the canister and quickly got him and Taylor out of that room as alarms started blaring and explosions started sounding, "I'll give it to the Brotherhood." He explained as they rounded the corner to see three Enclave soldiers, but right as the soldiers drew their guns to fire at them, two Sentry Bots rounded a corner and mowed down the Enclave, "Move along please. Evacuate the facility, immediately." The Sentry Bots ordered
The two of them ran towards the entrance, watching Enclave soldiers get torn apart by the Sentry bots around the bunker. They didn't know how many would die, but it didn't seem to matter. Jonathan and Taylor ran out the entrance and a couple meters away from the facility, just before the entire place blew sky high. When they made it out, they found a gigantic super mutant with a gattling laser, cutting down Enclave soldiers like grass. When he turned around, he had a large smile on his face as he voice boomed in laughter. "My saviours! How good it is to see you again!"
"Fawkes? What are you doing here??" Jonathan yelled over the sound of Vertibirds flying away from the exploding base before the final explosion rang out. ***** "What do you see, Priimariigula?" Navius asked a soldier with binoculars looking to the north. "I see some explosions sir, look about 30 Kilatas (10 miles about)." The man replied "Anything else?" "Small dots flying away, have to be Vertibirds." "Interesting..Sounds like our Enclave "friends" have ran into some trouble." Navius replied before turning towards the small camp, "Any Vertibird that flies within 2 and a half Kilatas (1 mile-ish) of this base are to shot down! I doubt they will but be prepared. Priima Magniitium squad, Elatians Dacarius and Vanius report to me immediately!"he commanded over his comm units, "We're going to offer some diplomacy, if that weird "Three Dog" is right, sounds like we might be able to make some friends in this "Brotherhood of Steel" if they hate the Enclave too."
"I knew you both had survived, and I hoped to assist in your rescue to repay my debt to you. I saw your capture, and a little cleverness allowed me to follow your captors. I only wish I could have arrived sooner to aid in your escape. As I owe you my freedom, I felt it was fair that I return the favor. After-all, I know no-one else in this world" Fawkes simply told the two wastelanders. "Well, we can always use a hand. Would you like to follow us?" Taylor asked.
"My friends, I would be honored to accompany you." Fawkes replied "That Gatling Laser of yours is going to be quite useful I feel Fawkes." Jonathan told him with a smile, "Now, we got to get to the Citadel asap!" (Time skip? Also, by the time the group reaches the Citadel, lets say that the Gloriian entourage had just arrived and had joined in on the conversation between Sarah and Lyons)
(Yep, time-skip) The two humans and the Super Mutant made it back to the Citadel as fast as possible, just in-time to witness a conversation between the Brotherhood and the mysterious faction. The Brotherhood were freaked out about the Super-Mutant following the two, but soon found the intelligence of the beast to be remarkable. Along with the fact that Fawkes hates his fellow 'Meta-humans', the Brotherhood seemed to trust him. If not for the only reason that Taylor and Jonathan trust it.
(Oh, I found out via the blood sampling thing you can do for the brotherhood after you complete the Broken Steel DLC, there are 75-100 super mutants living and dead in Vernon square when you do the Reilley's Rangers quest. Just imagine how many there would be total if it weren't for the limitations of computing software/hardware) "I must say, I will agree with your..Daughter, correct? On this one "Elder Lyons". If the Enclave indeed has this Purifier, it puts them in a supreme position of control of this land, if they get it running, all the desperate masses will come running to them for lack of choice, and they would use those numbers to crush all that stand in their way." Navius told Elder Lyons, "And if necessary, I would be willing to lend the support of my soldiers to the fight." "That is very kind of you, but it is unnecessary, the Enclave doesn't have the GECK, and without it they can't get it to start, it's useless to them." Lyons retorted, "And your offer of support is appreciated but it is still unnecessary." Jonathan quickly ran down the stairs ending up next to Lyons, "Well hello there! I trust you and Taylor managed to recover the GECK?" "The Enclave has the GECK, we need to move, NOW." He quickly informed them
Taylor made her dramatic entrance with Fawkes, where her and the Super-Mutant both came inside the bottom levels of the Citadel in a suprising fashion. Fawkes gigantic footsteps echoed across the stairs as they made their way down. The green-skinned titan took a step back as Taylor looked at Elder Lyons and the newer arrivals. "It's true, mobilize any forces that you currently have Elder Lyons." Taylor told them. "The Enclave is going to use the GECK to launch a biological attack from the Purifier."

Jonathan added, pulling out the vial of modified FEV, "They wanted to put this into the water supply, it would kill anyone with any kind of mutation. But it was "President Eden" who tried to convince US to do it for him, so something tells me the rest of the Enclave didn't want to do it. Regardless, we need to move!" Navius also nodded, "It'ld take too much time to bring more men over, but we have two Elatians, that's essentially a small army." "Good. Okay Sarah, I'll let you do it, but I'm not going to let you go without a little extra help. Rothchild, is it ready?" Lyons asked "What? Oh, well, the diagnostics and repairs are done but there is still problems with the navigation, weapons still need to be calibrated.." Scribe Rothchild started "That's not what I'm asking. I'm asking if you could make it work." "Well, yes I guess." "Good then get the robot booted up and send it out!" Sarah turned to the Pride and those going out to help,"Alright, we'll meet out in the Bailey, we are to stick close to it and let it do the heavy lifting, just don't get stepped on and don't allow any Enclave soldiers to get too close. Alright? Move out!"
(I haven't played Skyrim in forever, the video was cool though) Taylor and Jonathan headed out of the Citadel, all the while Liberty Prime boomed to life with his usual anti-Chinese threats. Fawkes followed closely behind the two like a lost puppy, a 9 and a half foot tall green/yellowish skinned puppy who can easily rip a man in two and crush skulls in a single stomp. While Liberty Prime was being lifted out of the Citadel, Taylor and Jonathan took their weapons out and walked alongside the large gathering of Brotherhood soldiers in a showdown for the ages.
Alongside the 6 Paladins of Lyon's Pride, the eight of the strange faction intrigued Jonathan, from up close, he could instantly tell their armor wasnt fabric like it appears from a distance, but rather some metal woven into their armor with normal fabric woven in as well, woth no doubt more protection underneath the first layer that he could see, and the power armored ones were especially intriguing, their armor was obviously thin as it wasn't nearly as bulky as normal T-51B or any other kind of power armor he was used to, the soldiers in them moved as if their armor was merely a second skin and didnt hinder them at all, and yet something told him it was better than the best t-51B set out there in protection. The engineering in their armor was simply fascinating, distracting him even as they approached a major battle. And just as he was about to start to admire their weapons, a Paladin in the Pride suddenly reconized him, "Hey, wait a minute...Knight Ramoros? We thought you were dead! The report said you got carted off by some Super Mutants on your first patrol into DC! "Wellll, lets just say I gave them the slip and forgot to come back because of some...unforseen circumstances, now, to the job at hand!"
Vertibirds began to advance amongst the group, speeding at breathtaking speeds towards the Citadel. One of them shot a missile at a group of soldiers before it was taken down by Liberty Primes eye laser, causing it to explode violently as its wreckage landed into the Potomac River below. Enclave soldiers began to take up defensive positions along the bridge as well, with quite a few Hellfire troopers with Heavy Incinerators. Taylor took the first shot, landing a successful hit against an unfortunate Enclave rookie that caused his head to explode. Soon, the battle on the Bridge was underway.
(Oh, this reminds me. I have this one mod on my Fallout 3 that tries to make the weather more realistic and it makes the night a lot darker (like pitch black basically, with only a soft light coming from the moon), the battle was so awesome at night because of all the explosions and laser/plasma fire :3) Due to Jonathan's more up close and personal style of battle, he stayed behind the robot, the lack of a scope on any weapons hindering any help he could provide. However, the same was not true for one of the strange soldiers, who held an advanced sniper rifle and seemed to be picking off targets on the bridge almost at will. Then, Liberty Prime arrived at the bridge, where he quickly mowed down those in the way on the on-ramp of the bridge. As he started up, several Vertibirds started to land on the bridge itself "Analyzing barrier, titanium alloy resonance field. Possibility of mission hindrance; 0%!" The robot boomed before simply walking through it as if it wasn't even there. Then the robot noticed the Vertibirds trying to drop off reinforcements, and before they managed to take off to get away, Liberty Prime had thrown a large bomb at them that soon proved itself to be a very large mini-nuke. The resulting explosion destroyed the first two and caused a chain of explosions that destroyed the final two, leaving the surviving Enclave on the bridge dazed as the main light now being provided by the fading day coming from the explosions and burnt out wreckage. Jonathan couldn't help but be impressed, and grew even more impressed as the Gloriian soldiers moved into a line formation about 20 yards in front of Prime in a skirmish line, acting as a screen as they continued to methodically take down their targets, as if this was just another training exercise for them. Looking over at Taylor, he said simply, "Something tells me we wont be doing a whole lot of killing ourselves unless we move up!"
Taylor looked at Fawkes and stretched herself to reach up to put a hand on the giants shoulder, which quickly got his attention. He tried to look down in a warm smile, but there was always watching such a beast as he was try to smile. It wasn't that he wasn't doing a very bad job, he was just inexperienced in such a thing. "What do you need?" "Fawkes, I need you to move up and help clear a path with the folks ahead. Me and Jonathan are going to advance." "I'll do my best" Fawkes said, having no indoor-voice like all of the other Super Mutants. He went on ahead and took his Super Sledge and ran as fast as he could, much faster then any human could ever travel. All the while, he held his Super-Sledge in one hand just as a group of Enclave soldiers tried shoot the colossus down. He screamed a horrible warcry as he swung his Super-Sledge upwards to hit the chin of a Hellfire trooper who was coming out of cover, almost knocking his head right off as he died instantly. Fawkes then swung his Super-Sledge with extreme skill sideways to clean up another two soldiers in a single blow. An Enclave Officer shot him in the head with a Plasma Pistol, which seemingly did nothing but anger Fawkes even more. Fawkes took the officer by the neck with a gigantic hand and threw him to the ground violently, breaking the officers back. A brutal stomp to the head turned the Officers head to a bloody pancake, all before the Officer could even scream. Fawkes looked back at Taylor and Jonathan and tried to give them another smile, although it still ended up like the first one. "Alright, let's get moving." Taylor said to the man next to her. (Speaking of Super Mutants, I've had the idea of an Enclave Project during the 2240's and 2250's that tried to clone Frank Horrigan from previous genetic samples the Enclave had at some point should the original one ever be killed. Only one successful one existed. Their whole goal was to make an army of more obedient and savage Horrigan's to destroy the NCR. Since the Chosen One originally fought and killed Horrigan in 2241, I thought it would be interesting if Damien fought Horrigan 2.0 during his first official Mockingbird mission in 2258, being the whole father/son thing after all.)
Jonathan nodded to Taylor as Fawkes fell back to behind Liberty Prime to act as a last defense layer as Jonathab and Taylor moved forward just as Liberty Prime rounded the corner, spotted two Enclave soldiers on a building-to-building pedestrian walkway and a Vertibird below. He shot lasers at the vertibird, destroying it instantly, followed by throwing a mini-nule at the bridge, killing the two Enclave instantly, all the while continuing his anti-communist banter
The Enclave was being torn to ribbons as Liberty Prime broke through the heavy weapons defences eithout even trying, all the while the Brotherhood and the new faction continued to push towards the purifier with frightning speed. The Enclave was going to need a miracle to defend the purifier from such an onslaught. Taylor went on ahead, single-handedly breaking one of the defensive lines. Fawkes helped clean up what was already left with his ridiculously accurate gattling laser before the rest of the main forces arrived
It wasn't before long that the group reached the Purifier, Liberty Prime destroying the Vertibords now more concerned with evacuating than attacking. Navius looked over to Sarah, "We'll stay out here and guard the outside with the bot, you and your friends go do whatever needs to be done." She nodded, "Right, we need to get inside and get the Purifier started. Pride! On me!" She commanded as they along with Taylor, Jonathan and Fawkes pushed into the Jefferson Memorial, they had now entered the final, and arguably most dangerous section, with no doubt some of the Enclave's best troops still inside in entrenched positions with no Liberty Prime.
Taylor breached the door and shot around three laser blasts rapidly at a group of Hellfire troopers, killing one and heavily injuring the other two. She shot the turret that was supported on the roof before she had to take cover. All the while that Hellfire troopers shot their incenerators at the wall. Fawkes suddenly came out of nowhere and cleaned a path for the rest of Lyons Pride to flank the Enclave, while Jonathan and Taylor were given an option to head into the room that contained the purifier itself.
Jonathan pushed open the door into the Purifier room to see Colonel Autumn and two Hellfire troops standing at the ready, "Well look who it is." Autumn said with spite in his voice, "Let me guess, your meddling friend is right behind you?"
