(This seems like an excellent idea, i like it. Not sure the mods would like a fully human based RP. We Might be able to throw in Ponies, but that would kinda ruin the experience and the overall plot. Also gave the document a read, and the Total Victory is really cool, with the whole of Vegas and the rest of the Mojave being rebuilt and turning into, in Mr House's words, "An Oasis in the Desert". Either way, i like it. Shall we start with this idea ?)
(Yea, and I know that human RPs are OK, it's just that no one ever does them since it's a pony site. And just like with all the other endings, Glory's ending does have its bad side: a lot of people will die in the name of progress and stability as anyone who takes up arms against Glory would be killed if they don't surrender.)"
(Sounds brutally realistic, kinda expected Glory to do something like that. Shall we get started then. Also, I might be able to feature a pic of my Courier eventually, but i need to finish Lonesome Road, again, to get the dusters. Shall we start ?)
(How about you are the one that's shot, but my courier is from the west. Or vice versa, depends how you want to work. What if we both had the same experiences, like in the DLC's, especially Old World Blues with it's whole implant , but we were there at different times (Example, yours in 2281, mine in 2279). In a way, our couriers are both connected.)
(Hm sure. And let's say it's my Courier who got shot so that he's the one with the most experience with the Gloriians in the Mojave. Oh! And I got some maps detailing areas of control I can go fetch real quick!)

And don't forget, all those areas Glory has were secured mainly by the 5th Cohort backed up by 20 Magniitiums from the 3rd Cohort. The offensives are launched with all 5,000 soldiers of the XIII mixed legion, meaning there's 1 cohort of Elatians, 4 Magniitium Cohorts, and 5 Riigula Cohorts)
A lonesome figure crouched down and brushed a dune of sand off of a tattered Legion banner. Around him lay the cloth, several broken crates, and tattered burnt detritus of a former legion camp. Nearby, roughly a hundred meters away from him, was the glittering Colorado river and several buildings. To his east was several destroyed tents, the former Legion inhabitants barely having enough time to have the alarm raised before they dropped to the ground like a stone. The figure himself only had several bloodstains over his deep grey duster, with some almost miniscule cuts from Legion machete's and only four bullets hitting their mark around his chest. He looked back towards the ground, where he stared deep into the eyes of a dying Centurion, Aurelius of Phoenix. The younger appearing Centurion looked at the stranger, the sun obstructing his view of the stranger that stood infront of him. Aurelius tried to laugh, only giving out dry chuckles before coughing up blood unto his own suit of armour. He had heard about this stranger, the stranger that the legion had given the nickname of “Daemon”. Legionaries were trained and raised to never be afraid or yet alone show signs of fear in battle, nor against any enemy. However, this stranger...terrified them. Aurelius tried to laugh away his problem, but did nothing to prevent his already cold heart becoming colder. “Caesar spoke of you. You’ve killed thousands of the Legion at your hand, entire century’s have disappeared over night. I would rather die by my own men then be killed by a profligate like you.” Aurelius spat out before returning into a violent coughing fit. Aurelius sat with his back, riddled with bullet holes and enormous slashes to his lower torso that made his organs squeeze outwards from his body as he layed against the wall of his office building, underneath a huge Legion banner. The stranger crouched down to Aurelius level and smiled. “Permitteris ad vigilate mundi mortuum tuum, quisquam novissimo tempore Centurione.” (You are allowed to watch your world die, one last time Centurion) the stranger told the Centurion, taking one of the legionaries sidearms and only equipping it with one bullet. He placed it on Aurelius lap and walked away. Aurelius was lost for words. The stranger had left Cottonwood Cove and had helped free any of the survivors of those who received crucifixion and were able to be saved. He made it half way at the top of the hill when he heard an unmistakeable sound that echoed across the area nearby. The sound of a pistol being fired.
Courier John Tomson suddenly took in a sharp breath on the bed he had been laying on for the last 2 days, his last memory being seeing the muzzle flash from Benny's pistol firing two 9mm rounds straight into his brain. His head hurt like hell as his eyes adjusted to the light in the room, then he heard a voice saying, "Oh good, you're awake." Sitting up to look at the source of the voice, John's eyes went cross and he nearly blackout as voice added, "Woah! Easy there, easy!" John recovered and looked to his left to see an old man looking at him from a chair, "You've been out cold a couple of days now, now what's your name, can you remember your name?" "John Tomson, Courier." He replied... John eventually found his way out of Doc Mitchell's house and out into Goodsprings, where he had to shield his eyes from the glare of the sun, looking around at the very small town, wondering how he should proceed from here. He looked down to the Pip-Boy that Doc Mitchell had given him and went to the radio section, finding various options such as Radio New Vegas, Mojave Radio, and the GPR (Glorian public Radio). Hitting the Radio New Vegas selection, Mr. New Vegas' smooth, deep voice poured out, "Reports say that Legion camp at Cottonwood Cove has been wiped out. What happened and who did so is uncertain. In other news, the Glorian stronghold on Westside has been buzzing with reported activity as the Gloriian military strengthens its force in the area, and rumors say that Glorian soldiers have been seen as far east as Nipton and Novac. If you see strangers in strange combat armor, it is advised to stay well clear." "Hm..." He muttered to himself, before looking up at Goodsprings once again, "May as well see Sunny Smiles like Doc suggested...." - - Auto Merge - - (Here's an album of pics of various Gloriian encampments from around the Mojave: http://imgur.com/a/Xwupa )
The stranger walked up towards his home outside of Outer Vegas and opened the wooden door. He would have settled down in Freeside but showed no signs of moving due to the amount of poverty and the overall crime that occurred around the area. The only thing keeping Freeside from descending into complete chaos was the Kings. In a way, he quite liked having their company. He walked inside and took off his black slave scarf (Which matched his duster) to reveal blast back ginger hair, a matching coloured rough beared and deep black authority glasses. He was very handsome, with blue eyes to add to his already handsome face. His looks were the first thing people usually noticed, and he took full advantage of that fact. Human beings were always more inclined to listen if the voice in question was being delivered to their ears via a perfectly shaped mouth and voice. His duster is a sleeveless black coat emblazoned with the United States commonwealth flag; the thirteen stars representing the commonwealth states. The rest of the outfit consists of a shirt, black pants, and a pair of black boots. There were several accessories, including a pair of tribal-like necklaces, a bandoleer, and kneepads. The entire outfit looked dusty and weather-beaten. He looked towards a wooden table that consisted of a map that covered the entire Mojave and all of it’s settlements, including the location of all the groups and factions he’s come across with the exception of the Brotherhood of Steel. He looked towards the Glorian settlement, noticing all tension that is building up nearby its edges, indicating a build-up of military action. He did not care about who ruled over the area, but preferring that those ‘rulers’ came in peace instead of the Legion. He turned on the radio just in time to hear Mr. New Vegas talk about his actions at Cottonwood cove. He then smiled as those actions would come closer to making a difference at Hoover Dam, when the time came. He took his weapons, his scarf and glasses and headed towards his next location on his crusade against those...murderers, Nelson.
Before he knew it, John went from clearing out geckos at a well to saving a women's life from those geckos, to helping the town fight against some attacking Powder Gangers, all within 6 hours of him walking out of Doc's house. However, he had a new package to deliver, the package of revenge to the man who shot him. Following Trudy's advice that they would have taken the I-95 to New Vegas, he made his way south of Goodsprings, killing the Powder Gangers quickly with his 10mm pistol in quick shots to the head before they could even light their dynamite sticks. Then as he continued south, he noticed several shapes moving off to the right of the road, crouching down and peering around a rock, he saw a squad of Gloriians wandering around a camp, cursing quietly and quickly sneaking past, not wishing to be confronted by them. "Just a couple weeks ago those guys weren't even there!" He muttered to himself as he continued on to Primm. After talking with a NCR soldier briefly upon reaching Primm who warned him about Primm being overrun with Powder Gangers and the area ahead being heavily patrolled by Gloriian soldiers, he made his way into town, disarming the mines across the overpass along the way, then decided to continue his crusade against the Powder Gangers, wiping them out and finding a captured "deputy" named Beagle who told him the man he was looking for had continued on north to Novac, and with the Powder Gangers dead, Primm would need some real law soon. Setting him free, he took note of what Beagle had told him, John made his way to Mojave outpost, once again going around the Glorians based at Ivanpahn Patrol Station and the Posiden Gas station ahead of that. Gloriians were one group that John had quickly learned from his travels are not one to even so much as appear threatening to them. It was best to simply avoid them. Upon reaching Mojave Outpost, he convinced Major Knight there to send some reinforcements to Primm so they can take over the town, and also politely declining to attack the Gloriian camps between the Outpost and Primm, knowing he would get murdered if he tried. After ensuring NCR took control of Primm, he made his way towards Novac, where he found a large Glorian encampment at the Nipton Rest Stop. Between Glorians, and radscorpions, giant ants and dust storms, he chose to go through the Glorian camp. "Siisista!" A soldier called out before John fully went through the camp's car wall, "What are you doing here?" The soldier demanded as he came into view, "Are you carrying supplies for NCR?" John sighed, "No. I'm simply passing through, trying to find a man who shot me." John replied annoyed as the Gloriian began to pay him down and digging through his backpack to see if supplies were in there, "There's only enough for me. I'm not a runner or anything." John said to the Gloriian. Finally convinced, the soldier pulled out a small stamped paper, "Here. Show this to any fellow Gloriian who stops you and they will let you pass." John rolled his eyes before entering the camp, where he stopped and stared wide eyed, at least 2 dozen Gloriian soldiers walked about the place. There was enough Gloriians here to take out Camp Forlorn Hope, Nelson, and Mojave outpost with some to spare. Swallowing nervously, he marched himself straight through the camp and to Nelson, where he would encounter a wiped out town, and the infamous Vulpes Inculta...
(Different conversation from what had happened in the game, but same outcome) The stranger made it past Novac and towards Nelson until he noticed that the NCR had barricaded the entry road leading towards the town. Only one ranger was present, the rest of the troopers barricading the town were only regular NCR forces. The stranger continued to keep walking, until Ranger Milo noticed him and decided to tell him to leave. However, Milo thought about that this individual could do more then simply leaving. He walked towards him and spoke. "Sorry to tell you this sir, but I'm afraid you need to leave. Legion took over the entire town of Nelson and is keeping several troopers hostage. Who are you?" "Damien Winters, courier." the stranger introduced himself. "I was just heading towards the town to wipe out the Legion present here." "I've heard of you, the Legion calls you a Demon'. Seems appropriate, considering your reputation. It looks like we can arrange something then. Legion is not going to move from Nelson and are holding my men hostage. You can guess what i'm about to ask you next." Damien took out his scoped hunting rifle and smiled. "Say no more." before the troopers allowed him to pass. Milo then followed Damien before stopping shortly before a short cliff. "We can provide you addition support, our men wants to take revenge against those snakes. Do you require it?" "I don't need it" Damien said as he walked down towards the town. The Legion raised the alarm quickly as several recruit legionaries ran towards him holding short machetes. Damien responded to their call by taking his 45.Auto pistol from his right side and instantly stopped any attacking Legionary dead in their tracks, his shots either hitting them in the head or the neck. Snipers tried to hit the Courier, but their shots always missing him. They began to panic at Damien's impossible reflexes and speed. Nothing they had ever encountered was that fast. When the shots began to diminish in number before falling unto silence, Damian rescued the troops and walked back upwards the barricade covered with several blood stains. He received his fund from Ranger Milo after he received thanks and continued on his way.
"Don't worry, I won't have you lashed to a cross like the rest of these degenerates." Vulpes said to John as him, 4 legion recruits, and 2 mongrels surrounded him. "it's useful that happened by, I want you to witness the fate of Nipton, to memorize every detail. And then, when you move on? I want you to teach everyone you meet the lesson that Caesar's Legion taught here, especially any NCR troops you run across." John, always eager to avoid a fight and willing to listen to what side had to said (besides Powder Gangers, but they were a whole thing on their own) "What did lessons did the Legion teach here?" "Oh where to begin? That they are weak and that we are strong? This much was known already. But the depths of their moral sickness, their dissolution? Nipton serves as the perfect object lesson." "What do you mean? What did you do here?" "Well, Nipton was a wicked place, debased and corrupt. It served all comers, so long as they paid. Profligate troops, Powder Gangers, men of the Legion such as myself, the people here didnt care. It was a town of [censoring 'cause EP rules :I]. For a pittance, the town agreed to lead those it had sheltered into a trap. Only when I sprang it did they realize they were caught inside it too. Then we herded them into the center of told, where I told them of their sins, the foremost being disloyalty. I told them that when Legionaires are disloyal, some are punished, the others made to watch. So I announced the lottery. Each clutched their ticket, hoping it would set them free. Each did nothing, even when "loved ones" were dragged away to be killed." "Hm...Well...I see your point in doing so...just seems a bit brutal..." John said to Vulpes after he finished. "Such is the Legion's way, and soon shall be your way once Legate Lanius, the Monster of the East, arrives from his Utah campaign. Or you'll be dead." John swallowed and nodded to Vulpes, "I'll...I'll spread word of this, as you ask..." "Then I will say "Vale", at least until we meet again." Vulpes said before wandering off with his men. John then turned and say down on the steps to the town hall as he looked at the crucified Powder Gangers, the piles of burning tires covered in burnt dead, and nearly broke down in tears.
Damien wiped of the blood from his custom gladius as the last of the Legionaries fell dead around him. After receiving his reward from wiping out the Legion at Nelson, he was going to walk several hours to the north towards Vegas. However, he was attacked not far from the Novac. Knowing about the Legionnaires well, he understood that the Legion Assassins were assembled from a handpicked group of some of the best the Legion had to offer. He had encountered three Centurions, two Decanus and a single Vexillarius. While Damien had trouble against two Centurions attacking him at once, he easily took them down when they were isolated. The rest of the legion fell quickly. Damien then sheathed his machete back unto it’s holster. If these were the best the legion could throw against him, he was very disappointed. He would rather fight the entire Praetorian Guard in unarmed combat. Turning his head to the east, he could see the Legionary encampment only known as ‘The Fort’ many miles away. As much as he would have loved to destroy the Legion from the inside out with a suicide mission on the Fort, it could have not made much of a difference when the time comes for the second battle of Hoover Dam. Lighting a match, he threw it onto the corpses of the dead assassins and continued on his way. Damien was going to kill all of the officers that Caesar from the bottom and work his way towards the dictator. His attack on Aurelius and Cottonwood Cove was simpily a message, and Nelson was another remedy to the problems that plagued the Mojave. With most of Caesars officers already killed by his hand, with the exception of Silus whom was captured by the NCR, Damien understood that the only ‘officers’ Caesar had was his inner circle. His next target, Vulpes Inculta, the leader of the Frumentarii. His father would have been proud of him...
John stumbled into Novac, tired, slightly injured, and scared. Things had really gone downhill in the area since he last passed through a couple weeks ago. Between the three-way fights of NCR, Glory, and Legion, mixed in with ambushes from the few that remained of the Viper and Jackal gangs, John was lucky to be alive, or as good condition as he was in. He stumbled into the fenced in portion of town and pushed his way on through to the Dino head, figuring the sniper there might have seen the man in the checkered suit. But John left the Dino even more disheartened, now he had to go clear out some ghouls from a nearby ruin...
Deciding to gather some supplies, and a warm bed instead of sleeping out under the stars, Damien decided to rest in Novac for a while. While his reputation about being a Legion hunter quickly gathered attention from the two snipers, none of them was as interested about Damien then the 26 year old Sniper named Craig Boone. After spending some time in the town and looking outwards towards Nelson, Boone personally came towards him and asked him about his personal issue. While not explaining in detail, and clearly distressed about the topic, Boone told Damien about his wife and child and that he wanted the one who sold her brought to justice. Accepting, Damien quickly found the Bill of Sale locked inside of a safe about Carla and took Jeanny May to stand infront of the dinosaur. It was the last thing she never seen. Boone thanked Damien but persuaded they cannot see each other in the town, but both of them knew they would both meet again someday. Damien remained in town for several more days, relaxing on his bed and keeping himself occupied by planning his next attacks.
2 days after John left Novac to clear REPCONN of ghouls, he finally came back, armed now with Lucky, a .377 magnum pistol he found in Primm after his 10mm ran out of ammo and broke, along with with a cowboy repeater he had bought off a traveling merchant. The thought of the strange Jason Bright and his "Journey" confused his mind as he looked up at the smoke trails of the rockets as he walked back to Novac, after clearing out some more feral ghouls that got in the way. He quickly found Manny Varquis again and told him REPCONN was clear of ghouls. So Manny fulfilled his end of the bargain and told John that Benny, which was the name of the man in the checkered suit, and the Khans he had in tow had headed north towards Boulder City. But John knew he wouldn't make it very far without sleeping first, so he went to try to find a room and bed, that's when he saw a figure in a duster with the Old World flag of America on his back, the infamous/famous Demon to the East (oh, and John wears the Sheriff Duster and Hat from Primm. But he's reinforced it with some bits of leather and metal armor so it actually provides some protection.)
