John looked down to the detonator and walked back a bit towards the harpoon on the dock to hear it begin beeping, starting to beep faster the closer he got to the harpoon launcher. Then, he pulled the trigger, and there was the sound of a muffled explosion and the "Lady" soon floated up to the surface, pretty much completely intact, "Well there we go." John said simply, "Let's get back to the Boomers then."
After a while, the two couriers returned back to the Boomers where they received a warm reception as they both walked the seemingly endless stretch of runway towards the two enormous hangers. Going inside the workshop of the Boomers original B-29, Damien was the one to break the good news to Loyal. "Your plan worked. The plane floated up. Seemed to be intact." Damien told the Elder Boomer. Loyal was over the moon with the news as he hastingly shook both of the men's hands. "That's tremendous! I'll transmit instrucitons to the robots to start packing up the plane and bring it back to Nellis! "Are you planning to use Diversionary tactics to draw their attention?" Damien asked "Exactly. We'll be shelling an unoccupied location in Outer Vegas to get their attention else where. By the time they realize they aren't under attack, the plane and the bots will be long gone. The kids wish we were shelling a real target, but Pearl thinks it's wise not to start a war just as the lady has risen. "I'm glad to have helped" Damien responded with a warm smile and with a voice like honey. "Hey, i better get rolling. Jack and I have alot of work ahead of us!" Loyal responded before waving goodbye to both of the couriers to immediantly get work on the plane. To see if their work was done, Damien and John went to see Pearl possibly for the last time to see if their actions have changed the Boomers for the better, and to see if they will accept their alliance with the Glorians.
John entered the Pearl's barracks first, "Hello, Mother Pearl? May we speak to you?" "Of course children, after what you did with raising the Lady and helping us, I'll say things are looking quite up for us! So you may ask me all you want!" She replied quite happily "Well, we came here on the behalf of a nation called Glory, they want to ask you to make an alliance with them...and open up Nellis to them and their aircraft...And they told us if you declined...they would destroy the Boomers." John replied sadly. "Oh...Well...This is fairly unexpected, and quite the turn from what we expected..." She replied, "So they want us to end our isolation, so they can use Nellis as an airfield as well?" John nodded, "That would be correct." "Give...give me time to think about this children...this is quite the...unexpected news..." Pearl replied slowly John nodded, "Of course, take your time." (You can handle the reply)

“Mother Pearl, please consider our offer” Damien said, placing a hand on Pearl’s shoulder to stop her from walking away. "The Boomers and the Glorians can come together and rise, or fall apart and leave ourselves open. We want the Boomers to be the Boomers. A vote for them is a vote for yourselves. In supporting them, you support yourselves." He gazed at her face, "The NCR is a worse alternative, they are clear evidence that they cannot control their own people and are likely, in the future under their control as long as their currently aggressive government is in control, will evict you with force or wipe you out downright. . No fear of danger, no fear of being harmed, Glory will keep you safe without fear. It’s a fact they hold their allies dear, the million dollar question is.” Damien stared into Pearl’s eyes, almost like he was looking into her soul. “Do you believe that it’s time to return to the outside world?”
The gears obviously turned in Mother Pearl's head as she thought long and hard, "O-okay. We'll open Nellis to these Glorians. But only on these conditions." she raised a finger at him, "One, the Boomers STAY the Boomers, we don't want our identity wiped out. Two, these Gloriians teach us how to fly their machines. Three, Nellis remains technically independent." She simply stated, staring back at Damien, "Are those good enough for you child?" John smiled at Pearl's conditions, thinking that Glory undoubtedly had already planned to do so, so he stood back and waited for Damien to finish.
"Of course Mother Pearl." Damien began before shaking the Elder Boomers hand gently. "These demands would have already been met with the Glorians, but we are happy to call you allies, and friends. Once the battle is over, your actions will be repaid ten fold. It's an honor doing business with you." Damien looked at the smile spread across Pearl's face as she went off to tell the other Boomers as she walked out the door. After a brief moment, Damien spoke to John. "Well that was...interesting. Look's like our work here is done..."
(Oh, I did a battle between NCR and Glory over Samson Rock Co (the why is because Samson Rock is an important stopping point for Gloriian squads being sent down the I-15). 15 Magniitiums, 17 Riigula, and 2 Elatians taking on 30 NCR Troopers, 10 Rangers, 8 Heavy Troopers, and 7 Veteran Rangers. Glory won, but took heavy casualities (22 dead). I then repeated it, but took out the Elatians, and then NCR overrun Glory, with about a third of their force left...Hm...Wanna have that battle happen here? The first battle also took forever in game time: 7:20pm-10:45pm. Second one lasted about an hour.)
(Sure thing. Quite surprised with the Elatian's being removed and the NCR death toll that followed instead of the Elatians being included. Wonder how it could have taken so long for such a battle to happen, damn me and my PS3 copy of New Vegas and not having the computer to run Fallout !)
(Heheh x3, well, I'll start with us encountering the main NCR group preparing to attack Samson Rock.) As John and Damien got near the I-15 after traveling along the southern end of the Strip's wall, John noticed a large group of NCR soldiers seemingly getting ready to attack some position, undoubtably a Gloriian one, "Uh oh..." John muttered, "Looks like we got trouble Damien..." He pointed to the soldiers, "What should we do? Keep going, or what?"
Damien paused for a moment, but then shook his head. "Don't like the look of this. If the Glorians were to lose, they might hit Westside after. And since we're aligned with the Glorians, then it's time we repaid the favor." Damien said, taking out the GEAR-22 to inspect it until switching back to his Hunting Rifle, deciding to conserve his ammo for the GEAR. He then walked up slowly. "We could have moved on, but the NCR would have declared us as public enemies or something like that eventually for helping them." (Goin to make the next post quite humorous for Damien's dialogue.)
(You know, I've been thinking about the possibility of having an ending where the Courier has the NCR and Glory make peace in order to more thouroughly focus on crushing Caesar's Legion at Hoover Dam, like with NCR and the BoS, only on a much grander scale, and the two nations end up making their armistice into a full blown peace treaty where all lands east of the Colorado, aka Caesar's lands, Glory can have, and the two decide to share the Mojave. Oh, and let's not have a force with Elatians in this one, as the Gloriians will have us to help x3) John nodded in agreement to Damien before pulling out his GEAR, its ACOG scope being better for long-range than his cowboy repeater, "And also if NCR takes this place, it'll make it much harder for Gloriian troops and supplies to be sent down the I-15." he added before getting behind a building as cover then aiming down the sights of his GEAR to check out the NCR attack force, which had split into two groups, one heading for a position south of Samson Rock, the other, larger one heading for the hole in the fence on the east side that was protected by a single line of sandbags and 3 Gloriian troops, "This doesnt look good...there seems to be Troopers, Rangers, Heavy Troopers, and Veteran Rangers a plenty, and they undoubtedly outnumber the Gloriians..." he muttered, "I'ld be willing to say that if we dont do anything, Glory will be overrun here."
Damien ran towards some nearby some machinery as he looked for the best possible attack point, taking out an an incendiary grenade that he took when he assaulted the Fort and having two left over which he never used. He then sneaked behind the group before John was getting ready to fire and poked his head behind the machinery. Deciding to take down the much more skilled Veteran Rangers, the Heavy troopers and a small amount of Rangers, Damian stepped back and arced the surprisingly light incendiary grenade across the highly armed group of troopers. A small clank of the Grenade took their attention away from advancing, just looking down at the ground before a red cloud engulfed the whole group as hellfire spread from such a small device. While not taking down all of his desired group, the Rangers never stood a chance as their skin and armor was ignited. Some of the Heavy Troopers, who has some bullet holes in their armor that appeared to be from a past engagement, allowed the fire to enter and literally cook the Troopers alive in their armor, sealing their fate. The Veteran Rangers, while not suffering as much casualties then their other counterparts, only lost 2 out of their 7. The red cloud also acted as a smoke cover, unable to see anything five meters in any direction. When they realized they were under attack, a 308. Hollow Point went straight through the lens of the Veteran Ranger and hitting his eye before entering out of his head, killing him instantly. The turned around, while still on fire, to see Damien picking apart the organization of the NCR troopers with his scoped Hunting Rifle. "Did it just get hot all of a sudden?" (Found this funnyhttp://i.imgur.com/W43tkaf.png) (That's a possible "Diplomatic" ending, but who would get Vegas ?)
(Hey, remember when I said "a group split off and headed to a position south"?Yea, that kinda included 2 Veterans, 3 Heavy Troopers, 4 Rangers, and 10 Troopers, not complaining, just so you get your numbers right. And at this point, they would be close enough for the Gloriian defenders to be firing upon them. Oh, and on the "who would get Vegas", I think it would depend on your negotiations, but prolly NCR would get the Strip, but Glory would likely have majority control of the rest of the region) John decided to let Damien and the Gloriians take care of the larger group, and turned his attention to the group crossing an overpass over the I-15 and getting into position south of the plant, and if they attacked the south while most of the Gloriians were occupied with the larger of the groups, they would get hit from behind and probably be destroyed in the confusion, determined not to let this happen, John used the building he was behind as cover as he aimed across the I-15 and began firing deliberately into the advancing NCR forces, tearing their attention away from attacking the plant to the attacker who was harrasing them. Even though John was too far to accurately hit any of them, it drew their attention to him, giving Damien and the Gloriians time to deal with the main NCR force. The force of 19 turned and charged him across the bridge, and then John felt a bullet find its mark in his chest near his heart as he was peeking around the corner to fire upon the NCR. Spun by the force onto his back, he was left staring into the night sky of the Mojave as he quickly faded to unconsciousness from the blood loss.
(My mistake, realized that section of your post and was working on changing it before you posted. Nevermind, let's just say that Damien is facing off against one of the groups until your post.) With the screaming NCR soldiers and Rangers being burnt alive while Damien continued with finishing off his selected group, the battle between the fairly large group lasted no longer than thirty seconds. He did take several rounds to his torso, one barely missing his heart while two large rounds hit his shoulder, he was otherwise still able to fight. Soon after finishing off the group, he ran over to the Glorian side and took down many troopers before allowing the Glorians to finish the remainder off. Damien thought that if they were turned around to face another individual, which he quickly rounded back to John, he knew that John could not last as long as he would in combat as Damian would (Even through John can last possibly longer than Damien) Sneaking behind the groups while ejecting Stimpacks into him, he soon found John unconscious after seeing a dangerously close to his heart as he heard the gunfire of the remaining NCR soldiers. It appeared that he was going to make a stand to defend him. For once, Damien did not know if he was going to survive this battle.
(Time for more twists!) The NCR soldiers turned to support the group heavily damaged by Damien and the Gloriians, to find them pushing the Gloriians back into the camp as most of those set aflame had been put out and where back in the fight, along with a sudden attack by Fiends lead by Driver Nelphi who had been drawn in by the fighting also began attacking the Gloriians and NCR (mainly Glory as they were closer, and the Fiends had run straight into the plant), and so they turned back towards Damien and the felled John by the time Damien had reached him and the Heavy Troopers began smothering their position in flames from heavy incinerators as the other troops laid down a hail of gun fire, and grenades intermingled the mix as the group advanced closer onto the pair, now fully across the bridge
"Well ain't this just gumdrops and ice cream !" Damien muttered to himself as he was soon starting to run out of ammo. He picked up John's body and thought about his next move. He only had once chance to get his companion into better cover, one mess up and they'll both be dead. He switched to his 45.auto and tried his best to take down as many of his enemies as he could, mostly made up of power armored heavy troopers with ridiculous accuracy. Once there was a low amount of gunfire, Damien took his chance and ran as quicky as he could with John's body, on his shoulders while heavy incenrators, grenades and gunfire zoomed past, exploded behind him or was dangerously close to both of them. Just as he was running into cover, a Veteran Ranger shot a round directly into his left kneecap. Damien screamed in pain as he collapsed onto the floor, his as he crawled to cover, turning around and still racking up kills. He layed against a barn and continued to occasionally pit his head out to see if they were arriving. He quickly tended to John's wounds, using Med-X and a stimpak before applying a stimpak to himself on his leg. Him and John was likely not going to make it unless a miracle happened.
