(Hm...maybe. And alright, see you then! oh! Forgot a couple Gloriian organization groups! 3 legios=1 armiida(army) (15,000 men) 3 armiidas=1 granarmiida(army group) (45,000 men)
Into the night, a faint light glowed brightly in the obsidian sky then vanished. The debrit from this ship then fell onto the earth like a meteor shower, with small bits and pieces raining across the entire planet, large pieces burnt up in the atmosphere. After this discovery, this confused some of the scribes. They wondered about what could have caused this, and why? Their questions were soon answered.
(I'm gonna do this post in two parts, one from Jolan, the other the Viceroy, mostly to show how much Gloriians respect the orders of their superiors, no matter how much they may disagree with them.) Jolan looked out across the Mall from the top of the Capitol building, looking towards the Washington monument as two snipers with guns pointed down the mall waited for an order. Little did the pair of Brotherhood Paladins guarding the Monument know, they were in the crosshair of the two snipers. Then, the order came that Jolan had been expecting from the moment he saw the bright flash in the sky, "To all ranking officers; all armed and trained Wastelanders are to be considered enemies. Any who do not qualify and do not resist are to be rounded up and subjected to loyalty testing and processing. That is all. Priimaperator Corniila Vaciius out." Jolan sighed in sadness, knowing that orders stated that they betray a trusted ally, but...orders were orders, so he swallowed, and simply stated to the snipers, "Execute." And before the Paladins even knew what had happened, two blue bolts of energy slammed into their armor, which simply made it deadlier, and the two instantly fell dead. Soon after, Jolan had gathered up his ciintura, and they got into their tanks, with the aim of taking the Citadel, just as hundreds of Striitus landing craft uncloaked 400 meters above, carrying with them an entire legio, a larger army than anyone on the entire East Coast could hope to take on.... ******** "No! You can't do this!" The Viceroy yelled at the hologram of Priimaperator Corniila Vaciius, "What you're doing is murder, no, genocide!" Cornilla simply chuckled in response, "Most of these people barely know how to live. What I am ordering is simply euthanasia for a sickly animal. Just like with I did with the Far West. Those worthy and capable of living and show they will not raise arms against us, will be spared. All others must be put down. It is grim, I know, but it is necassary." "Necassary?! You're asking me to take out the best nation on this damned planet to rise out of the ashes of nuclear war! Do you not remember the Lower Mercenian Republic?!" "Simply a mistake we should have taken out with the rest of our own Wastelanders all those years ago. Those you save only end up hating you, you of all people should know that, Vakara. The only way to ensure they won't use that hate you is to force them down, to tramp them so far into the dirt, that they become diamonds, and diamonds are worthy." "That don't work so well with the Equestrians now did it?" The Viceroy shot back "We made the mistake of giving them independant rule, thoughfore were never truly trampled. But enough talk, Titus has designated me your superior in military manners, so if I hear one more peep out of you about this, I will personally arrest you and oversee your extradition to Glory for a courtmartial!" Vikara growled lowly, "Yes...sir..." He muttered "Good, now you have your orders, go let that Elatian general of yours know about them."
Unaware of what is about to happen, the Brotherhood never knew about the Glorian betrayal and still treated them as an ally. Not knowing about this mistake, an entire legio began to advance towards the Citadel. As they seen the Glorian military advance, they assumed they were going to assume that they were going to extend towards other areas on the east coast. The result was far opposite. Just as a Brotherhood solider was patrolling the Citadel, a blue bolt slammed onto the right side of his head, almost blowing the helmet clean off his head as he flew off the wall like a rag doll, hitting the ground hard. The solider was killed instantly. Outraged at the Glorians for their apparent betrayal, they responded in force against an enemy they knew they could not defeat. All hell broke loose. With all exit routes blocked, the Taylor and Sarah had no choice but to fight.
Jolan and his tanks set up on the heights near the Citadel as 3 cohorts (an entire Legion seems a bit much) attacked it from the ground. Looking down at the vulnerable Citadel, he brought down his comm unit in front of his life, "Use high-velocity, high-explosive rounds. I don't care what you aim at as long as it isn't friendlies." He said into it, before watching in silent sadness as volley after volley shot towards the Citadel. However "luckily" for the Brotherhood, it took barely two minutes fire the three cohorts of Magniitiums to flood inside, their superior weaponry felling Paladins with barely a thought, and their own titanium-reinforced Kevlar uniforms easily blocking the mainly ballistic weaponry from hurting them. As the Magniitiums pushed into the interior sections of the Citadel, far outnumbering any who had survived the initial attack, and he knew no one could escape, not without surrendering...
Taylor walked outside of the Den alongside Sarah and a member of Lyon’s pride, dressed in dark navy blue combat armour with a small white brotherhood logo sitting on her left shoulder holding a plasma rifle given to her by Harkness tightly in her hands. By the time they went around the corner, not even walking twenty feet, they were spotted by dozens of Glorian troopers with their weaponry aimed directly at them. Taylor lowered her rifle and looked Sarah directly in the eyes, words not even worth being said. After looking back at the soldiers, she dropped her rifle and placed her magnum onto the ground before kicking it across the floor. Sarah did exactly the same, followed by the Pride members. All of them, as if on cue, went down onto both of their knees while holding both of their hands into the air in the progress as Glorian soldier’s surrounded them on either side in a circle.Sarah messaged the others through an earpiece to surrender, and soon those surviving the massacre went onto their knees in different locations around the Citadel. “We surrender, the Citadel is yours....” Taylor spoke aloud, slightly saddened in her tone of voice. (Just realized this is the first time that Taylor has spoke in the entire RP. Also, changed my avatar to Blackjack to suit your Littlepip, the red to your blue so to speak. Thought it would be....fitting . I've also noticed that the pictures might be drawn by the same artist as well, so that's kinda of a surprise.)
(Ya, they are from the same artist ^^) A soldier stepped forward towards the two kneeling Brotherhood of Steel members before them, the golden emblem of a cohorarriius (An eagle clutching two swords; but not like they could know that was the symbol for cohorarrius) adorned his shoulder as he raised the butt of his gun up and, in two swift motions, brought it down upon their heads, knocking them out cold just long enough for when they woke about 10 seconds later, to be bound, gagged, and immobilized without resistance, and then forcibly carried out of the Citadel... ********* Jolan and his ciintura looked sadly back at the Capital Wasteland as Sabriis and Striitus swarmed through the air as Gloriian troops attacked various points around the area. Places like the Citadel, Paradise Falls, Fort Independence, and other areas of high concentrations of armed groups were the first to fall, and Jolan knew that his fellows would be combing the place, using Siriima gas to purify the place and killing and/or capturing the survivors. Jolan sighed and lowered his comm unit to his mouth, "Come on comrades, we should return to our legio...and there's a long drive ahead of us..." and without a single word, the group drove off, knowing there was nothing they could do. Considering the 250 legio reinforcement, one could only assume these men were veterans of the Far West War, as that number was the number that fought in that war, and because of that, Jolan gave it about a week before the entire American Wasteland was firmly under their grasp and "restored".
Taylor woke up slowly to notice her surroundings. She tried to move her hands, only to quickly notice the cuffs around her forearms. She looked down towards her legs and seen the same cuffs around both of her legs. Quickly noticing the gag around her mouth preventing any form of speech, she looked around the dark cold room, easily assuming they were not at the Citadel anymore. Despite both her hands and legs being cuffed, she also found out that her upper forearms were tied to a chair. It seemed like she was going to be interrogated, she had seen this all before when she was at Raven Rock. She made no attempt to be aggressive nor tried anything to escape, that would only make her end up in an early grave. She remained calm, although deeply angered by her attackers, until she was ready to be spoken to.
(Oh, I think you should know the general Gloriian leadership organization and what they lead: (Commander-in-Chief)imperator/Emperor=commands entire military (Equivalent to 5 star general, literally "first general")priimaperator=leads an entire operation/offensive/war, or oversees a province (Equivalent to 4 star general, literally "second general")tesperator=commands multiple granarmiidas (Equivalent to 3 star/lieutenant general, literally "third general")tesperator/granarriius=commander of an army group/granarmiida (Equivalent to 2 star/major general, literally "fourth general")Casperator/armiiarriius=commander of an army/armiida (Equivalent to 1 star/brigadier general, literally "fifth general")Nasperator/legiarriius=commander of a legion/legio (equivalent to colonel) Diivarrius=commander of a diivalegio (equivalent to major)Cohorarrius=commander of a cohort (equivalent to captain)Ciintarrius=commander of a ciintura (equivalent to lieutenant)=Ciinarrius=commander of a ciinana (equivalent to corporal/sergeant)=Squiidarrius=squad leader) - - Auto Merge - - A women walked into the visible light of the room, dressed in military uniform with the patch of a ciintarrius(a red eagle with wings against the body instead of spread out like with higher ranks) adorning her fatigues' breast pocket, "Looks like you got stuck with me." she said to Taylor as she walked over and undid Taylor's gag, "Wanna know why? Because on our planet, this language is spoken by the most barbaric, uncivilized people to ever settle down...slightly...on our planet." she said in almost disgust, "A clear contrast to us, the Gloriians. We are the very embodiment of civilization at its best on our planet. The only nation to ever have a chance of conquering on of the most warlike planets in this Region of space. And now...we are here to civilize your little planet. Forcibly. And no, this isn't an interrogation, we know plenty from your "Citadel". Your "encryptions" proved to be no more than having the password of 1234 to us. Even the most untechsavy Vengian could probably encrypt better." the women pulled up a seat and leaned back against the back, "Why are you here? Well, the only reason we haven't killed you yet is because we have evidence you might be of some use to us. Namely, that brain of yours. Of course you'll have to understand that you would, probably for the first time, be among those truly equal or greater in intellect to you." she continued, "But first...We need you to take a little test for us. And no, it isn't optional. Refuse, and you die. Simple, no?"
Taylor remained silent before sighing heavily at the female. "I don't really get much of a choice anyway." The room remained silent before Taylor decided to speak again. "Alright, I'll accept. What exactly do you need me to do in this test?"
"Just answer these questions..." the ciitarrius said, "1: What government form do you think is best, and are you willing to fight for it? 2:Have you had any family members killed by our soldiers? 3: How much military training have you recieved? 4: Are you willing to accept and potentially help or fight for those that are above you? 5: What would you say was the most significant event in your life? 6: How willing are you to do anything in the name of future stability and peace? Even if it means taking one or more lives? 7: What would you say are your 3 best talents? 8: How good would you say you are at following orders? 9: How many people have you killed? And finally, 10: What are precisely your thoughts on us Gloriians?" she finished and took a breath, "And do not even think about lying. Because we will know. And it will lead to your immediate death. Now, answer the questions."
“Very well” Taylor began. “1. Pre-war democracy was highly corrupt and led this nation to ruin, I would prefer an autocracy or a monarchy of some sort. If this government became something special and leads to the benefit of all mankind, I will be willing to fight and die for it. 2. My family members have been long dead before your arrival. 3: I have been self taught for a high majority, but I have received military training by the Brotherhood to some extent, about 20%. I would be the equivalent of a Sentinal in Brotherhood terms, but my only superior thinks I’m far beyond anything of Brotherhood level. 4: I have restored much good into the wasteland through my actions, one of those being the restoration of the water purifier and carrying on my father’s work. Number Five would be my father’s death about ten years ago by the Enclave, this basically made me want to help the wasteland and take down those responsible for his death, which I can say has happened. 6: I will be willing to do anything in the name of stability and peace, but I prefer scientific research and combat. 7: I’m very good in scientific research and combat in general, but I’m also quite proficient in hacking. 8: I would say that I follow orders to the best of my ability, I’ve never disagreed an order to a superior, even if they ask me to basically wipe out an entire town of innocents. 9: Oh boy....let’s see. I’ve wiped out entire Slave and Raider dens and an entire Enclave military base by myself, countless super mutants and much more which have faded from my memory. I would say about 20,000. And 10: I knew about Celon, to some degree since news can turn into Chinese whispers this far from the Glorian nation. So far, I’m extremely impressed at your sheer military power, I’ve never seen a single solider trained so well. A single Glorian trooper is problebly equivalent to a Knight or Paladin in Brotherhood terms. I was originally going to discuss terms to pacify the East Coast alongside you, isn’t that why there was a Glorian stationed here. But since you decided to basically wipe out the Citadel and destroy any resistance in the wasteland then well.... that is now apparently not going to happen.”
The ciintarrius just looked blankly at Taylor, "That is all. We will review your answers and get back to you in a day or so. Be warned, if we determined you have failed this test, which is to say, you didn't fit to qualifications for any one question, we will get rid of you." She told Taylor before regagging her, "And no, you won't be getting any food until the results are decided. You will get random water. Goodbye." (time skip? And if yes or even no, wanna do a Damien post real quick?)
(Sure. I would just assume that the same thing is likely happening back in Celon.) Over 4,000 miles away, Damien made a rough guess about what was about to happen after discovering the successor of the Sky Throne and this new leaders characteristics. Seeing this situation as the calm before the storm, Damien decided to leave New Vegas and travel North-East to escape the possible mass crackdown two months before the assault on the Capital Wasteland. Taking what he needs to survive, including his armor and weaponry, he vanished into the night after one quiet day, alerting his father of his whereabouts with a simple letter. By the time the crackdown happened in Celon, Damien was already long gone....
(Hey, did Taylor get that one mutation you get from helping Moire with the Radiation part of the Wasteland Survival Guide?)
The ciintarrius women walked back into Taylor's holding cell holding a clipboard with a single sheet of paper on it. The ciintarrius looked up at Taylor, "You failed the test. Your opposal to democracy, your high number of kills, and your mutations has resulted in you being considered unfit for living in Gloriia Celon. However. We have determined that thanks to your pivotal role in destroying the so called "Enclave" and getting the Purifier up and running that instead of the usual summary execution, we will instead simply exile you. Congrats. You're going to Europe."
(I'm going along and say that the gag is off for her to respond.) Taylor took the results from the officer and began to read, noticing the questions and reading them in a muttered voice. Her eyes widened in disbelief before placing the results down on the table. "Well...[Redacted]. So where are you taking me in Europe?"
(Taylor wouldn't have been unrestrained, so she couldn't have taken it from the ciintarrius, so I'll just say that the women showed it to her.) The ciintarrius opened her mouth to respond when she suddenly paused and lifted a finger to her ear as she brought the clipboard back to her side, "Yes sir. Understood." she said slowly after a pause, before looking back to Taylor, "Well, I'm sorry, but looks like your luck has run out. Command just said all failures, regardless of history, are to be killed on the spot." she said looking at Taylor coldly, drawing her pistol, "I would say I'm sorry, but it wouldn't be true." she stated simply before suddenly, a new voice boomed onto the loudspeakers in the building and in the cell, allowing Taylor to listen in too. "People of the American Wasteland. I am Viceroy Viikara Clusanus of Celon, or, at least, was Viceroy. After long deliberation, I have decided something. I will NOT stand idly by as those who call themselves my countrymen of Glory massacre innocents for little true reason! This world has suffered enough. As of this moment onward, I have declared Celon's FULL independence from Glory, but not just Celon's...No..All of AMERICA's and EARTH's independence. Until peace is restored and the invaders driven out, my comrade, Commanding General Ciisarii and I shall be the temporary, military rulers of this land, then we will step down. This isn't a power grab, this is a plea, a plea for those of the American Wasteland to unite under ONE banner, one banner to throw those who seek to annihilate us back to their home planet! Failure is not an option. I call to you, people of the former nation of America, to do WHATEVER you can do drive back these murderers. If you feel up to it, grab any weapons and armor you can and head to your nearest Celon, Brotherhood, NCR, whatever and sign-up. And those groups? Well, to refuse will only lead to everyone's demise, including yours. If you can't fight, farm, manufacture, do whatever you can to help! We MUST win! We cannot lose! And when this is over...we can rebuild what has been lost...As One Nation, Indivisible." The ciintarrius women glared angrily at the loudspeaker as it fell to silence, "TRAITORUS!" she yelled at it before firing at it, leading to a shower of sparks to shoot out from it, before angrily pointing the pistol at Taylor, "Kiloa"(Die) she said in a deadly tone, before suddenly a massive explosion shook the building, and they were plunged into darkness. (I had to leave while posting this, so the explosion is from Jolan's tanks attack the place, which is Fort Independance and that nearby town, which has been occupied by a whole Cohort)
The lights flickered on and off in the room, before remaining turned on but only provided an extremely dim source of light. The explosion sent all the objects and the two females sailing across the room. Despite her mouth remaining ungaged, Taylor’s hands remained cuffed along with the cuffs on her legs. She still could not move, no matter what her circumstance was. All she could do now was hear herself say one last prayer before getting executed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After hearing about the viceroy wishing to make Celon independent from Glory, alongside the rest of the planet, Damien headed towards America’s former capital where the fighting was the fiercest. After taking the highways which were cleared of wreckage to allow the roads to be travelled by caravaners heading towards DC, Damien was at Virginia after receiving a flight from some friendly flyers from Celon taking him over three quarters of the way. After landing at an airbase nearby Richmond, Damien’s two month travel began as he walked the entire way to DC. Eventually, he came towards some settlements such as Tenpenny Tower and Megaton. He knew that there were forces from Celon alongside their allies in the wastes, and already knew which side of the war he was going to be on. He walked east towards DC, ready to take down any form of resistance that existed and attempted to find his Celon comrades.
