(Signed up. I've also had a good Group RP idea. Remember that New Vegas one we did, I was thinking a group version of that relating to the storyline. Instead of 1 courier, there are multiple who are aligned with different factions and so forth. Eventually, their lives would intertwine and affect the entire world around them. One Courier could be Legion Centurion, the other an NCR Ranger, the other an Elderly survivor of the Enclave and so forth. The twist for this RP is that, if possible, the couriers could unite to create their own nation. No NCR, No Legion, No House. Just a brand spanking new nation, like what we did with Celon. What do you think? If interested, I can create interest checks and character sheets and so forth later.)
(No idea...the best idea I have currently is going off this fanfic I'm writing. It basically Snow wakes up from Cyrogenic Frozen Animation in the time of Littlepip and has to make her own way through the Wastes. Maybe you could be like a companion or something?)
(Yea. Think I'll borrow the start of the fic for this.) Everything was cold. The floor bit through the dress I wore for some reason, chilling the skin underneath. The air did no better. It felt almost as if I was radiating cold from my very soul, if that was even possible. It numbed me; mind, body, and soul, leaving me incapacitated on the floor I had been unceremoniously dumped on. Slowly, I seemed to thaw, slowly coming to be able to think and move my eyes around. Everything was blurred, but slowly recognizable, glancing at the capsule that had held me, I could see an ever decreasing amount of fog poring from it. How long had I been in there? Frozen in suspended animation, just as planned, that answer would come sooner than I realized, and it was not the answer I wanted, or could really comprehend currently. All I could think about was how much of a ponysicle I was, slowly thawing and feeling like I was melting inside and out. "Good morning Ms. Mark. Was your sleep enjoyableable? I hope so. Before you go farther, I'm sure you would love to hear about the current situation in the...somewhat over two hundred years you have slept." A robotic voice chirped to me from a speaker at the top of the ceiling, though my current less-than-lackluster hearing barely made out a drone, however, two words caught my attention. Two...hundred...years..., I thought slowly and deliberately, before desperately trying to remember how long I was supposed to have to be frozen.
(Jesus...I have no idea where to start. Not to mention school being brutal at the moment, sorry if I haven't posted.)
(It's completely alright Crim ^^. Hm...well, in the story, I wanted to have Snow's first encounter with a town be a raider town, maybe you could be around or a prisoner or something. And can you not be the King of Diamonds? Just a normal, but skilled pony?)
(I already had a character in mind, . Because playing as a biologically immortal, seemingly bullet-proof and seemingly a hurricane of death isn't as fun as it used to be. I'm currently re imagining the Eternals abilities to make them much more realistic but still make them with FO:E lore, so no more indestructible super soldiers or Crimson for that matter for a while. Also, really great work on the first chapter btw. Do you want to advance from there ?)
(Alrighty, on the redesign, wish ya luck on that ^^ and thanks, I'm hoping to make this one a lot better than Tale of the Soldier, And yea sure, I'll start) Snow trotted along the path, three long days of crossing the Empty Plains from the MAD facility had passed, and now, according to her HUD, she was approaching a town. But as she drew closer, something seemed.,..off about it. Deciding to play safe than sorry, she trotted off the path after getting the convoybots to continue on. As she approached the town, red dots started to appear on her HUD, each one marking a potential enemy. She slowed in her sneaking and hid among the dead grass, waiting to see what happened to the convoybots. She wouldn't be curious for long. Seemingly out of every window, a Raider popped out of seemingly every window of the ruined buildings and began firing at the bots, who immediately returned fire, shooting energy bolts and rockets at the raiders who were mainly armed with low-quality firearms. However, Snow watched as the sheer volume of fire took down each bot one by one as the Raiders yelled manically at the bots. After the dust cleared, she watched carefully as the remains of the raiders moved into the street to scavenge the bots. She took the opportunity to carefully draw out her PESR and aimed down the scope at the raiders, remembering her promise to herself. She instinctively breathed out as she fired the first shot, not knowing where her knowledge of how to fire came from. The raiders noticed a comrade falling to the ground. Pzzt! They we're now frantically looking around for the source of the deadly blue bolts. Pzzt! 4 left, they were now scrambling for cover. Pzzt! Another down, but the rest had fled deeper into the ruins of the town. Taking a deep breath, she holstered her rifle, she had just killed four ponies! No, these weren't ponies, these were savage animals who tortured and killed for fun. Closing her eyes and taking another deep breath, she pulled out her PEAR and carefully rotted into the town, weary of traps and making sure to step over the undamaged corpses felled by her rifle.
Hidden inside of one of the buildings, located in a dark corner with barely any sunlight sat a purple unicorn with a deep silver mane. The sunlight emitting from the window was just enough for the pony to be able to see, any more darkness resulting in the pony to go blind. Hoofcuffed to the largest steel cage, movement was impossible. Inside the same room were other ponies, some of them children, having to suffer the same fate as her. There was no clean water, she had to sleep in their own filth, and the awful stench from the room was even constant. None of them had slave collars yet, but some of the raiders have taken some of the cages of the ponies out of the room, the ones inside never to be seen again. The purple mare looked downwards. She was another victim of a what appeared to be a slave trade, with the raiders hoping to turn in a quick cap. Her equipment was confiscated and put inside the next room. If she did manage to escape, the first thing she would do was ensure the safety of the ones around her. She sat back in the furtherest corner and closed her eyes.
Snow ducked behind a wall as the spot in front of her became peppered with gunfire, "Sweet Celestia!" She cried as the bullets hit exactly where she had been trotting too. She could hear a raider yelling, "HAHAHA! DIEIDIEDIE!!!" And other things she'ld rather not think about, including a reference to looting her dead body and something about necrophilia. Shivering, Snow took a step back, being very observant of the pauses in the firing which marked reloading. Timing herself, she jumped out as the last of a third volley of bullets slammed into her shelter, slipping into SATS and quickly targeting the raider who seemed frozen in time at the top of his platform. Three shots later and he fell. Snow smirked at her hoofiwork before charging the building the raider had been firing from, which she guessed was the main headquarters of the raiders. She slid in next to the door where she could hear the raiders talking quietly amongst themselves, they seemed...fearful of her... She couldn't help but chuckle at that, they had every right to be scared. She quickly drew out a grenade she had found and pushed the door wide open, tossed it in, and slammed the door. She could have sworn she heard a very explicit curse and some beeping. Then BOOM! The explosion, added by mines the raiders had laid, blowing the door clear off it hinges and flying into the street, and the sheer sound left Snow dizzy as her ears rang, before slowly recovering and checking her HUD; all clear as far as she could see. ****** The room in which the slaves suddenly heard the sound of screaming in at first fright, then in pain, as suddenly Snow charged through the door, raider impaled and dead on her horn. She grunted and pushed the dead body off and quickly wiped off the blood before it dripped down her face. Panting, she turned to the trapped ponies, and her eyes shot open, "Oh sweet Celestia!" She exclaimed, quickly looking over to see the dead raider had a key on his chest, she quickly looked back to the trapped ponies, "Don't you worry, I'll let you out!" She said quickly before grabbing the key and began unlocking the cages, unaware of how terrifying she looked, her black armor and hooves and horn covered in raider blood.
The captive pony looked at the blonde unicorn that had just impaled a raider as she threw his body down. Despite looking like a maniac due to the blood that streamed down her face, the mare that walked inside was very attractive. The pony watched as the trapped ponies were let out one by one, ranging from children and teenagers until reaching the adults and even a ghoul pony. The purple unicorn watched until she was opened. The fact that the raiders had to hoofcuff the mare told the others that she had put up a fight, despite the raiders almost always allowing the other trapped ponies some level of freedom
Snow studied the hoofcuffs on the purple mare before her, taking a moment to wipe more blood off her face, finally getting the last of it. She looked up at the mare, "They didn't hurt you too bad?" She asked as she slipped another key from her saddlebag, this one looking like it had gone through a fiery explosion but still somehow intact and tried it on the hoofcuffs, which amazing popped right off with a turn of the key, "Well, if they did, don't worry, all those I didn't get have fled. Watched them." She said bluntly, "And too think that I woke up from CFA only three days ago..." She muttered quietly as she helped the mare onto her hooves, "My name's Snow Mark, what about yours?" She asked, now looking up to the mare slightly, (the prisoners had made Snow realized how she was smaller in size than most ponies), the same question SH had quietly asked each and every prisoner.
The mare's voice sounded dry before she managed to get something out. "Orchid Comet" she replied in a feminine tone. "Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Mark." She replied before managing to get outside of her cage. Not only was she covered in filth, but the raiders thought it would be funny to strip her of her cloths when they captured her. She wondered across the room, naked, to gather her belongings once the other trapped ponies made it out of there. "Sorry you have to see me like this. After they managed to capture me, they thought it would be funny to....you know....to me." Orchid said before managing to open the footlocker after remembering the code that a Raider used in locking her equipment away, taking her clothes out and starting to put them on. "I managed to kill eight of them completely unhoofed before they took me down. After that, they took my clothes, equipment and weaponry and placed it in this box. They just left me naked in there as a joke until they were ready to sell me to the Slavers." "I owe you my life, thank you." She said, smiling warmly at the mysterious mare.
Snow smiled back at the mare,"Well, three days ago I saw these...savages attack a caravan, it was not pretty. Since, I decided that I would treat them as they are; savage pests that deserve to be exterminated. They are not ponies, they lost that title the moment they start doing what they do." She then looked at the mare, "You know what? I have a mobile water talisman for purifying drinking water, I bet I could use it to purify some water for a bath, for all of you." She told Orchid, "Heck, I could use one to get this blood off me.... (go to after everyone got cleaned and most of the captives have gone off towards the nearest friendly town?)
(Let's go ahead with the skip) After cleaning herself up, Orchid was dressed in a red shirt with a black leather vest clothing (Actually a male version of the Merc Adventurer outfit from FO:3) and was just removing all the dirt out of her mane. At her side were two revolvers, and her back contained a combat shotgun. It was the first time she had a proper bath in months, absolutely pleased at the fact the stranger had kindly giver her a water talisman for a proper bath. Despite only meeting her for a short period of time, she was surprised that there were still good ponies out in the wastes.
