(I haven't read FOE in ages, at least five months, so I'm kinda rusty at the moment. I cant remember the last few chapters as well as the others, so I'm very "Ehhh...." at the moment.)
(Ah, oki, well, here's the rundown in how it'll be important for this RP; 2-3 days from current RP date, Lil'pip takes down a Thundercloud and Red Eye(remembered that Raptors were the common ones while the Thunderclouds were the massive, floating base thingies), 4 days after that, the battle of Fillydelphia between the Enclave and Red-Eye's forces occur, and also Littlepip, Spike, Calamity, and Velvet Remedy sneak into Neighvarro and Littlepip enters the SPP and goes into comatose. After that; Calamity, Velvet, Homage, and Derpy have to search the Wasteland for the last 2 Elements of Harmony to power the Garden of Equestria megaspell which rids the Wasteland of radiation, poison, and Taint. I was thinking it would be very likely that Snow would e the Element of Magic)
(Orchid could be a possible candidate as the Element of Generosity after facing the sacrifices she had to perform throughout her life. But it could also potentially be given to The Solider as well, who I think is more suitable. Anyway, back to RP?)
(Yea, but there's a difference between having to make sacrifices, and willingly making sacrifices, which qualifies as Generosity, or sacrifice like with Littlepip, besides, the Soldier is actually Caring) After Snow had waved off the Soldier's concerns about the message to keep it secret, Snow had followed the Commandos as they cleared out Manehatten of undiserables and Bloodwings(helped it was in the day), going as far towards the crater as radiation would allow, all the way to the water. It was a much longer process than the Ranger's Fetlock clearout, due to bigger buildings needing to be swept through, but by the end of the day, Manehatten was completely dead outside the Commandos and Tenpony Tower. The Commandos then began setting up checkpoints on the two remaining intact bridges and brought all fairres to the Manhatten Island, essentially making a giant bastion of safety with the closest danger point being Buckland, which the Applejack's Rangers occupying the former Steel Rangers Citadel there weren't quite ready for a clearout.
Once Fetlock was wiped clean from anything that might pose as a threat, the entire suburb was designated as a refuge camp for surviving wastelanders that would arrive in the city. With the Rangers finished off the suburb and headed to the Citadel, Orchid remained behind to search for any points of weakness if the Enclave were to attack, running through imaginary scenarios for a realistic attack onto the city. She teleported onto a rooftop and changed some of the parts for her E4-7 from a carbine to a long ranger sniper rifle, setting up some boxes as makeshift cover if she were to be fired upon.
Snow was sitting in front of the second Mark Co facility in Manehatten, the Civilian Research and Development Division, which she was infinitely more...happy to remember than the military half of her company. She sighed, debating whether of not to enter, when she suddenly heard another beep on her PIN. Confused, she opened the message up on her HUD, it was from Homage. Hey Snow, get yourself to the enclosed position, bring a friend! A certain pony wants a little meetup to discuss a plan to save the Equestrian Wasteland! You got 3 days to make it, so hurry up! Curious, Snow opened the attachment marker, "Spike's Cave." Wait. "Spike?" Snow blinked, then shot to her hooves, she had to find Orchid, it would take a couple days just to get to the marked place, she had to hurry!
Orchid remained on the rooftop, watching nearly the entire city through the sight of her rifle. She remained motionless, a skill she learn't during her younger years as an escaped slave. Eventually, the silence was broken as Snow appeared nearby her as Orchid turned her head around for the first time in hours. "Hey Snow! What's up?"
Snow took a breathe as Orchid called out to her, "Hey Orchid, we gotta get moving. There's a plan that requires us; a plan made by the Light Bringer herself. A certain DJ told me he had it on good information that we were wanted. And if we want to make it in time and play a part in making a brighter future, we gotta go now."
Orchid suddenly got back up as she began to remove the long barrel of the E4-7 as she folded it straight to it's original carbine form. She brushed some dirt off from her clothing and nodded. "I'm going to safely assume that this place is really far away and that we are going to be quite pressed on time, so every second is merely wasted time." Orchid replied. "Lets get going"
(Time skip I think is needed) Snow and Orchid has arrived at the top of the mountain that marked Spike's home soon after the Light Bringer and co had. Then at the discussion of the plan, and how Littlepip intended to infiltrate Neighvarro to take control of the SPP and bring back the sun, and the plans to destroy the Enclave forces preparing to attack Fillydelphia; Namely by using the ghoul pegsus who Snow reconized as Ditzy (and she was very glad she hadn't lived so long because of that) to create a second sonic radboom followed by using a megaspell housed in Tenpony, a megaspell Snow knew about, and despised. Because it was intended to destroy the zebra balefire missiles, she never got to deploy her PROVEN Laser Assisted Anti-Missile System (LAAMS) which would had a proven success rate of 95% under heavy bombardment conditions, but nope. When Snow's and Orchid's role was told to them, Snow wasn't surprised, "Snow..." Littlepip had started, "I know it may not seem like much, but I need you to stay here with the Applejack's Rangers to help defend the cave in case of Enclave counterattack." Snow sighed, "Littlepip, I haven't brought it up...But I should be the one to go into the SPP." A confused silence fell upon the room. "Why do y'all say that?" Calamity asked. Snow took a breathe, "Because I'm the reason the Wasteland exists at all. I lead to the start of the war. I need to make it up to Equestria...." Another pregnant silence fell over the room before the Eyebot Homage had commandeered in order to "attend" "Snow, that is a completely understandable reason, but you have to believe Pip, you helping defend the cave WILL help." snow sighed, defeated, "Alright..." (I think we should go to the party that night)
(Agreed. I don't remember this bit very well and forgot basically all the details for the party. Do you want to write the next post or just fill me in of what I need to know.)
(Basically, it's just a party much like from the show; pin the tail on the pony, spiked punch, etc. The main difference being this party is basically supposed to pick up their spirits before heading off to possible/probably die the next day. Should be fairly easy to post about)
(Alright. I was trying to get it as accurate as possible from the book as possible, but I had the thought that it could have been any other ordinary party from the show. Alright, thank you I'll post now.) With that same night, a large party was thrown inside of the cave. Music from before the war was echoing the interior, giving a seemingly depressing but overall joyful mood. Food and drinks were also being served, and party games were set up. Seeing how she never been to a party before, the experience was overwhelming to Orchid. However... Despite the time she was having, she could not help but feel saddened. All of her Slave friend would have loved this, having been hunted and killed long ago by Slavers. She sat in the back corner having a drink of punch, a drink she had never really heard of until today, and thought about her friends. But decided to make the most of today, as she got up after and rejoined the party.
Snow found Orchid in the small crowd of ponies and griffons(and that odd albino hellhound), smiling softly at her, obviously a bit buzzed, "Come on Orchid, come dance with me!" She offered, holding out her hoof as an energetic song played from the gramophone, "This was one of my favorites back before the world went to hell!"
"Wha-I...err....sure!" Orchid managed to speak, blushing slightly, smiling in response. She was trying to hide the fact that despite her being a skilled Slaver hunter, she could not dance in any way or form. She placed her hoof out to reach Snow's and was led downwards to center stage, where all the attention was drawn from the crowd to both of them.
Snow chuckled as she noticed Orchid's nervousness, "Don't worry, just follow my lead, I had to attend several formal dances back in my day~" she whispered to Orchid. Then she started trotting quickly in place, "Doesn't mean I don't know how to play dance!" She added before starting to clop her hooves on the ground in time with the song, taking Orchid's hoof again and encouraging her to do the same, but then the song suddenly changed into something slower, more slow dance-y. Chuckling, she spun around and put herself in front of Orchid, face slightly flushed from the spiked punch, slowly guiding Orchid into an easy two step
Orchid tried her best to follow the dancing commands that Snow was giving. Despite that she had never tried to dance before, she wasn't that bad. After a few minutes into the dance, she started to slowly get better and better until she nearly seemed to be on time with Snow's hoofsteps. It was slightly off time, but it was incredible for someone who had never danced before.
Snow winked at Orchid, "You're doing great~" she told her, giving Orchid a surprise little twirl, "You're a swift learner!" Thats when a griffon suddenly came in with, "Enough of this slow crap! This is supposed to be a party!" And changed the song to something everyone began dancing to.. (to after the party?)
Snow had managed to avoid the punch further, never having seen Littlepip and friends the entire party somehow, now she sat alone at the mouth of the cave, staring out at the endless cloud cover below the cave. She sighed, wondering if she was going to live past tomorrow. And somehow, she remained confident that her destiny pointed towards the SPP, even if Littlepip was so determined to do it herself. Maybe something required her out here for some time longer. She suddenly chuckled to herself, "I could remake Mark Co, see how that goes this time..."
