(Okay, tell me who wins ! ) After some traveling to the city, the Commandos and the Guardians established a forward base, far enough to avoid detection but close enough for quick extractions. Fillydelphia appeared as a large concrete castle in the horizon. The Guardians were unfamiliar to Fillydelphia, only being deployed there twice in their 125 year history. It was essentially not their neck of the woods, but the Guardians would manage well enough. Raven had to select two of her Guardians to enter the city while Ghost would select two of her Commandos. Both of their ponies would have to be particularly skilled, more so than most of their squads. Raven had selected two mares, Bubblegum and Arrow, to be disguised as slavers. They also had to look the part, which meant having them to remove their armor and be redressed in a more appropriate attire. Weapons were changed as well, their highly advanced E.A.R (Energy Assault Rifle, like the PEAR, except appears more like a Chinese Assault Rifle. One of many Federation rifles) being replaced with shotguns and sub machine guns. Raven also had to make her chosen ponies look dirty, because they were far to “Clean” and would be given away. Once ready, Bubblegum and Arrow stood at the edge of the base.
(Team I was supporting lost by a point in the 10th inning ;- Ghost shook her head at Bubblegum and Arrow and sent them back, it needed to be two and two only who did not have any kind of weaponry, looked like slaves, but skilled enough to make it on their own. It was lucky Fillydelphia outside the Wall was fairly deserted, otherwise they'ld already be under attack, they needed to move...
(Aw,man. That must have sucked) Eventually, Bubblegum only returned while Arrow was undergoing changes to look the part. Bubblegum now looked exactly like a slave, head to toe in dirt, dressed in rags and grime and even strapped with a fake slave collar. Arrow was undergoing the same process, but stopped if Ghost told her. Raven was back somewhere in the camp, speaking to other Guardians about the wall's security.
(Bleh, sorry, can't think of anything. Also, why do you keep sending 2 Guardians and hoping for 2 Commandos? Ghost said 2 total..)
(I know, Sorry, still really tired. To basically continue the story, my two Guardians will be going inside the wall.)
(Well; looks like we have that in common, being really tired. Have had hardly any free time lately...)
(That's fine buddy. I'm on School holidays here and haven't been able to make plans to leave my house, so I'm stuck inside for a few days or so. Take your time to post, there's no rush )
(It's all up to you buddy, I'm not particularly fussed. We could start anew if you wish or we can leave the thread again and come back when we feel like we're ready.)
(Lets do this, gonna use my middle name) Allen groaned as he opened his eyes to look down at the dusty ground he was laying on, "Ahk...what the hell..." he muttered as he picked himself up and froze at his surroundings, this definitely wasn't Texas. He seemed to be in a desert/grasslands area, and a notable lack of really anything living other thanplants. "Where the hell am I??"
(Might as well do the same thing) Rhys woke up on a small hill in the middle of a desert. The air felt sharper, crisp, and overall overwhelming in the environment around him. This was definitely not South Australia, especially in the country town of Gawler he called home. He wore whatever clothes he was wearing, a black hoodie with matching camo jeans. He stood up slowly to look at the surounding area, and was not entirely impressed. He looked around and sighed deeply. "Well, I'm clearly not in Kansas."
(We could wait a bit, allow the characters to get themselves adjusted to the world. Then, after we spring a monster or two, unite them.)
Allen stumbled to a nearby road, then looked confused at how ruined It look, but any thoughts of it being an abandoned road in the middle of nowhere were quickly dispelled by a sign that said "I-15" that looked like it had taken more than a few bullets. "This looks eerily similar to...no. that's impossible...I'll just follow this road and see where It ends up!" He said to himself before heading south.
Rhys shambled across the desert plains, hoping to find any form of civilization. He stumbled slowly to an abandoned highway full of old shells of what used to be cars and trucks, confused on why they appeared to be so destroyed. He then walked east for about a kilometer until the road was empty, and there was an old ruin to the left side of the road, and a town that seemed to be on fire. "But...ho-" Before he could speak, eight people with weaponry walked out of the ruins laughing maniacly. They wore little to no armor, yet alone clothing, and their hair was dyed in different colors from bright green to a deep violet. One or two of them had a gun, while the others had whatever they could find and use as a weapon. They appeared very dirty and savage in nature. Whatever they were, they were defiantly not a friendly. "What's a kid doing this far alone in the desert" the raider asked Rhys while the others laughed. Rhys then realized that he had no weaponry, and the only combat training he had was from video games or just simple play-fighting he had with his little brother and friends from Primary School. "Crap!" Rhys shouted as he went to try and find cover, making the Raiders laugh.
