Julion nodded to A.D., before turning to Crimson, "I best be returning to New Equestria with my Commandos. Thank you for giving me this oppurtunity."
"You're very welcome. We will be returning to Los Pegasis. If you need another ally on the battlefield, just let me know." Crimson said nicely to Julion. He looked at A.D, He prepared a teleportation spell back to Los Pegasis. Crimson, A.D and the securitrons stood inside the huge circle, just as a green flame circled around them. "Remember Solider, New Equestria will never fall as long as we and our goddess Celestria are alive." Crimson said and with that Crimson and everypony else in the circle disapeared instantly from the field.
Julion turned to the army of New Equestria that had gathered behind him during his talk with Crimson. "Good job today men! Now, go back home!" he said simply before a Vertibuck landed next to him and he boarded it, heading to Junction Town.
Crimson arrived back in Los Pegasis soon after his talk with Julion. He returned to see the city still in pristine condition, the Securitrons returned to their patrols and the money from the gamblers came pooring in like usual. He went up to his tower and sat down to look at his city. He was very happy as he made calculations on what the city would happen in the future. In 25 years, he would get Equestrias high technology development back. In 50 years, he would have created Large scale teraforming kits to repair the wasteland and within 100 years, he would have settled Equestrias first colony within the stars. He also thought it was time to tell the Brotherhood of Life to come back into the wasteland, but thought that he would do that tomorow.
Julion jumped off the Vertibuck only to be instantly confronted with Littlepip and Calamity, who both tried to say something at the same time rapidly, "Whoa there, whoa, one at a time!" Julion said holding a hoof up, "Calamity?" "Ah want to know why ya didn't take me in the battles!" he demanded. "Because, not even I expected it. Littlepip?" "I have some bad news." she said, Julion instantly groaned, his already had to put up with a full scale invasion, now he was instantly being met with bad news. "Homage found a place nearby New Pegasus, in some deep, dried up canyon, that is still filled with detonated balefire bombs and megaspells!" Julion's eyes grew wide, "wa-What?!"
Crimson was busy on his terminal and listening to Dj Pon3 talk about the news. Him and Julion was mentioned as stoping a full scale invasion from Arcade, who was killed by Crimson. This was the first time in many years that Crimson was mentioned in a battle. He could not help but smile at the thought. It was then when he got a message from Julion, and that he wanted to see him immediantly.
Julion sat across from Crimson when they met the next day in New Pegasus, Julion swallowed as he thought about how to proceed, as he had learned more and more concerning information on the danger canyon. "Thank you for meeting me on such short notice Crimson. I'm afraid I don't come bearing good news." he started, "I have found out that there is a canyon just 20-50 kilometers outside of New Pegasus that used to be a dump for Equestria's unneeded super-weapons." He pulled up his Pipbuck, "100 high power, timed megaspells, 20 captured balefire bombs, 30 high distribution XVI bombs, 18 dirty-bombs, 10 Genetic Reducer, which could even kill you Crimson, as it would literally turn your blood to stone. Well you might not actually die, but I guess you get the point." Julion continued to look down the long list, "You know what, I'll just send it to you to read yourself." Julion said with a bead of sweat rolling down his face.
Crimson took the list and began to read it. His face turned white in horror as he read the long list, he was horrorfied but furious about the ministry mares lack of care about disposing the weapons. Crimson slammed his fist down on the table, snapping it in half. "How could they be so blind..... I HAVE SPENT 200 YEARS REBUILDING THIS CITY AND IM NOT GOING TO LOSE MY PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THE MINISTRY MARES LACK OF ORGANISATION !!!" Crimson walked around the room. "If they were to detonate, the crater would be at least 150km large and the actural fallout itself would spread all throughout Equestria and the rest of the world. I hope the ministry mares got roasted alive during the last day." Crimson said in a still furious but quiet tone. " Im going to evacurate the city immediantly, they will travel to Canterlot." Crimson let go of a large sigh. "These might be the last days of my life......."
"Crimson, you can't stay, the mega spells will self-detonate in 2-3 days, thus setting off all the other nasty things in the canyon!" he exclaimed. "I know that your are nigh on invincible, but nothing could survive that hellish nightmare!"
" I understand... The city would be vaporised..... I dont know what to do Solider.........." Crimson said frustrated. He was going to lose his city, until a idea flew into his mind. "MY GOD THATS IT !!!!!" Crimson ran to his terminal, located on the other side of the room. "I have completely forgot about this ! " Bringing a detailed 3d blueprint to Julions view. "This is a idea i have had called the super shield, it can blockout every megaspell and other related weapons. It forms around the selected area in a large circle, it then levitates the weapons into the shield and then the shield flys into space and detonates. I have created this shield about 186 years ago, but i need the missing crystal capible of running it, and im not sure it even still exists. But i believe it is located in a mine somewhere near Fillydelphia, i need it or else......... you know whats going to happen."
"Uh, all the mines around Fillydephia collapsed when the megaspell hit the city, Crim." Julion said sadly, "But there is one possibility. I even brought it with me." Julion took out a large disk-like portable terminal that had a large pop-up antenna on it from his saddlebag and set it on the table. "It is a thing of last resort, and a suicide mission to use." Julion explained, "It's called the Internal Mass Capture Shield System, or I.M.C.S.S.. Dark Light herself invented it as a last resort if worst came to worst and they needed a large area taken out by non-superweapon means. It generates a massive energy shield that essentially traps everything in a certain area for as long as the operator inside works it. It was intended to hold the zebra capital or other large city hostage as a negotiation tool. But sadly, it has one flaw." Julion gulped, "The moment the operator stops tending to the machine, the entire shield collapses inward, crushing everything inside to the size of a pea. That is why it is a suicide mission."
"Yes, i have heard of that weapon. The shield is disabled once the shield has shrunk, i could use it since that i was created to be indestructable and that i would survive the blast inside. But i would need immediant medical attention once it is disabled and if worse comes to worse, i would finally die." Crimson said sadly
"Let's hope that doesn't happen." Julion said with a gulp, "But we first need to get all the civi's out of the danger zone."
"Allow me." Crimson then went to a microphone located at the very top of his tower. He could feel the wind in his mane, a sign from mother nature that she is worryed about the current situration. "People of Los Pegasus, This is your King speaking. The City must be evacurated immediantly, i have just recieved word about a megaspell canyon located 50 miles from here that is going to blow sky high in 3 days. Your instructions will be to travel to Ponyville under the safety of my daughter and my securitrons, i need the city empty within a hour or else measures will be taken. Remember, you are safe as long as you do everything my daughter says." Crimson said using the microphone, almost everypony in los pegasus heard Crimson. The Ponys in Los Pegasus left the city in a long organised line, instead of going into a riot about the city going to blow up. The were on their way to Ponyville guarded by the ENTIRE securitron army and A.D's combat and leadership experience. Once they left, Crimson looked at the Solider. "Onto phase 2 shall we?"
Julion nodded, "Now, how this thing works is quite simple." he said, moving the I.M.C.S.S to the center of the table. "When the time comes, go as high up a you can, set the range of the sheild to envelope the city and canyon which is very easy to do, and from there, you just have to pay close attention to it, make sure it doesn't destabilize." Julion said, before looking back up to Crimson, "I hope you realize that I have no choice but step back from doing this, the Commandos would be lost without me. You, on the other hoof, at least have a small chance of survival." Julion looked around the room, knowing that in two-three days time, it would no longer exist, no matter what they did.
"Very well, I shall relocate to Ponyville. Since that Los Pegasus will be completely destoryed by this device." Crimson looked at the device, Noticing a flaw in it's design. "The Hydrofluxers in the left side of the device are somewhat damanged. I believe that only the eastern side of the city would only be destoryed since the hydrofluxers wount have a 100% chance of completion of the device. I could teleport the landscape of the city directly in the center of Ponyville, so that the area of Los Pegasis used to be would just be a flat grass land and that Ponyville will look exactly like Los Pegasis, detail and everything. But that spell is insanely complex to perform and i might pass out doing it." Crimson then thought about his idea. "This is 95% likely to work, i'll prepare the spell. And since that the commandos have already burnt Ponyville, there will be a city there once again."
Julion looked at Crimson confused, "But we do realize the shield would still be up right? That plan truly has a 0% chance of working as the moment you try to teleport, the shield collapses." Julion thought for a bit, "Every way I look at it, it results in New Pegasus' destruction. But there is a certain way you yourself might survive, making a counter-shield around yourself to protect yourself from the shield collapse."
"Yes.... But i could perform that spell right now, shield or no shield." Crimson looked at Julion. "Trust me on this plan, the last thing i need is my city being destoryed by the 'ghost of the ministry mares'. Either way, im going to teleport the city to ponyville. The spell wont effect us as we would remain in the area the city was once located." Crimson then followed Julion outside, ready to perform the spell. "And the whole shield idea you had, that's a great plan by the way." Crimson said, his horn begining to glow brightly. "Cover your eyes, this will be brighter then bright."
Julion shook his head sadly, "I guess you don't understand the big picture as I do, make sure to tell Bloody 2 that she's in charge of the Commandos now." Julion grabbed the machine, "I will not have New Equestria be reduced back into the Wastelands! And by the way, the name's Julion." and with that, he left the room.
"JULION WAIT !!!" Crimson yelled out but he was to late as . Crimson was furious again. "Julion, What would you if you spent your entire life as someponys experiment ? I have been wanting to belong in this world since the day i was born. If there would be anypony to go into that machine, it would be me. I dont want New Equestria reduced to the wastelands a much as you do, BUT IM I GOING TO DO IF I LET MY PEOPLE DOWN !" Crimson chased after Julion, he knew that he could hear him. "I HAVE LOST A HELLVA LOT MORE THEN YOU HAVE SOLIDER !. I HAVE LOST DARK LIGHT, I HAVE LOST THE ONLY PONYS THAT I HAVE EVER CALLED MY FAMILY, I HAVE LOST THE PEOPLE I LOVE FOR OVER 210 YEARS NOW AND NOW IM BEGINING TO FIND THE TRUTH. BUT FINDING THAT TRUTH IS NOT THE HARD PART, IT'S LETTING GO OF IT !!!" Julion then looked at Crimson, he looked like he was about to fight him. "Julion, dont do this. You will die in that machine, and your life is worth more then mine." Crimson began to calm down, but was still on guard if Julion attacked him. "Im going in, you cant stop me."
