"From where we are now, we could head north-west and basically bypass entire cities. However, it's slightly more defended going upon this route since the police forces are likely gathering in the far north. I would include it upon your navigation system, but you're more familiar with the technology."

(Sorry I wasn't on again for today, had to go to a 5 year old birthday party. Also, the movie was fantastic, best marvel movie to date. This might be fun to write when I do the review) The President sat at his desk in the White House. Slick brown hair and a black tailor fitted suit adored the man as he went through his daily business. Sunlight poured through the window and the wind was fresh yet crisp, it was going to be a rather good day. Just as he was about to work onto a secondary document, he received a phone call from the SOD and from what he could tell in the tone of his voice, it was urgent. After a long conversation, the President's pleasant mood dropped down and immediately began to authorize SOCOM of the situation. As much as he couldn't believe the news he had been hearing, the reports and evidence he has received proved him otherwise. While the SOD and SOCOM dealt with the situation, the President's job was to prevent this operation from the public eye. Or as prevent as many leaks as he could.
After a day of travel, Janii and Charlotte arrived at the base of the Rocky Mountains, but Janii kept on driving, going into the mountains and up a few thousand feet before stopping at what looked like an old rest stop that hadn't been used in awhile. It was a virtual cabin dug into the side of the mountain. Getting out and shouldering his bag, then looked at the car, "Hm, it would be too suspicious if we kept it..." he muttered, considering the SWAT logo on the side, so he got in, put it in neutral, then shoved it down the road, watching it roll away, scrapping against the barrier, preventing it from falling off just then. Nodding as it turned around a corner one final time, he looked over at Charlotte, "Alright, we got a defensible position, I got nutrition bars that can last a week, a water cleaner, and there should be plenty of animals and streams nearby. But, if they come for us, we only got one route of retreat, going higher in the mountain, unless they trap us in the cabin. So our best hope is that they have no idea where we are, and that we can hang out for a few weeks, I get picked up, we take you where you want to go, and then I go home and this never happened." Janii said as he opened the cabin door, looking like it hadn't been used in months, but the electricity and other utilities still worked.
Charlotte looked at the cabin before something came on her mind. "And you'll be able to go home, while I'll continue to live a mundane existence as a homeless orphan. Either way, glad you will be able to return to your own home." Charlotte noticed the cabins electricity and nodded to herself. "Nice place..."
Janii sighed before he suddenly got an idea, "...Why don't I see if I could bring you with? Test pilots where their jumps go wrong that make it back are offered retirement and compensation for it. I could take care of you if you wanted and you could start over."
Charlotte suddenly felt a surge of excitement before it suddenly vanished upon realization. "Your kind might not accept me, I would likely be an outsider in your society." she said before taking a seat onto the couch.
Janii chuckled, "You? An outcast? Please, Terra has an non-Terrean population of over a billion, if not larger. You'll fit right in, besides, Glory has a very low level of predjudious. So don't worry." He said to her
"R....Re....Really?" Charlotte stuttered out. "Nobody has ever spoken to me that nicely...." she said before she suddenly leapt into life and hugged Janii as tight as she could, almost tackling him to the ground in the process. She began to cry and sob uncontrollably, almost hugging him tighter.
Janii blinked in surprise at the sudden hug and Charlotte's crying, "Uhm..You're welcome, I just feel likd you need a home thatvwill take care of you and something tells me it should be me..." he said before slowly and carefully hugging her back before pulling her off, "Now come on, we need to get unpack and comfortable for the next few weeks, then we can start your new life."
(I'll go ahead with their finding) About two and a half weeks upon arriving at the cabin, the US government finally discovered the location of their special target. During the middle of the night, a well armed team of over 20 members of the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (Delta Force) made their way up the mountain and by the time the sensors around the cabin would have been going off, they were already meters away at the door.
Janii was jolted awake by an alarm in his comm unit, they had been found. Cursing in Gloriian, he woke up Charlotte and gathered together his equipment and prepared self-destructs on the vital tech, such as his gun and the weaponry on the drones, but luckily those were the only things of high tech on him, the drones themselves were just guns on little helicopters, and his survival pack was mainly food and water purifying equipment, and the PIC-SALI was impossible to re-engineer, especially for what are essentially primitives to Terra, and nothing the humans wouldn't have. Getting Charlotte behind him, he sighed as he realized something, if they fought, they would die. They were trapped, with just a few days left. Sighing as he looked over to Charlotte, he said sadly, "End of the road..." he muttered, then threw everything that had self-destruct at the door and activated it, blowing up his helmet, his rifle, his cold microfusion bullets that was the ammo for the rifle, and the drones, destroyed to useless little bits, things that would have, on their own, been an incredible advancement for humans, especially the cold microfusion. Standing up with his pistol in hand and Charlotte in the other, he watched as the delta squad, who had been delayed by the explosion, flooded in and surrounded them, weapons drawn. "Sir, we request that you put down the gun immediately." One said, obviously not a request. "No." Janii said simply. "Sir, put down the gun or we will fire." "No you won't." "What makes you some goddamn certain?" "Because I know that you were told that I was not to be harmed, after all, wouldn't want a country that is thousands upon thousands of years more advanced than you getting pissed off because you hurt one of their soldiers, now would you?" The soldiers looked at each other for a moment before returning their gaze to him. "...how do you speak English so well?" one suddenly asked "Because, where I come from, we have a nation that speaks the same language as you, and every one of my people knows the 4 major languages on my planet, you see, as of right now, my people are simple, sword-wielding, just discovered iron primitives, but, through a series of events I can't tell you about, Christianity and English both spread to my planet." Janii said cooly before pulling out a necklace that was hidden in his fatigues, a Christian crucifix, which freaked out several of the soldiers, "Now, you will take me and this girl, together, I keep my stuff, and you all get to live. Maybe not killed by me, but killed by the people you piss off by killing me. Oh, and those people will be here in three days to rescue me." There was a moment of silence before the man who was obviously the commanding officer said, "[censored] hell, alright fine! Come on!" Janii looked down at Charlotte, "Seee? It'll be fine." he whispered as they were shown out the cabin.
Charlotte stood behind Janii throughout the entire confrontation, somewhat scared about the sudden appearance of the special forces soldiers but also unafraid of death, especially with what she has lived through. Once tensions died down, she was escorted out of the building with Janii and taken outside.
They were then loaded onto secure trucks and they drove off into the night, driving for several hours before arriving at a secure facility deep inside the mountains where they were offloaded and handed over to the facility, who were told about the arrangement. As they were shown inside, Janii made sure he never lost sight of Charlotte. (Wanna play the facility guards and employees?)
(Sure) The employees took Janii and Charlotte across the facility, surrounded by a large gathering of guards dressed in Kevlar appearing more reminiscent of riot police. Charlotte had no idea about the series of events that were going to lay ahead of her, but at some point, Charlotte was split away from Janii as she was taken alongside the higher ranking employees to watch what is about to happen with Janii.
