Frozen nodded, "I'm sorry," he said, "I bring trouble with me wherever I go. I shouldn't have brought this dreadful storm upon your people. Please forgive me.."
"Do not worry yourself," she said sympathetically. "It's been a while since I've had the chance to work one-on-one with some pony."
Their eyes met for a moment, and then Celestia quickly averted her gaze. "Seeing as our library does not know anything..." she said, horn glowing in thought.
Forgetting himself, and her status above him, Frozen touched his hoof to her cheek and turned it so that their eyes met again. He smiled shyly, intoxicated by her gaze and the scent of her perfume.
Celestia froze in shock, and then shook her head. "I-I have to go check to see if Luna is alright," she said abruptly, leaving the library in a blushing hurry.
Celestia walked down the hallway quickly, ignoring her heart, fluttering like a caged bird. She entered Luna's chambers, and saw her sister glaring at her. "Look, Luna, I'm sorry," Celestia began. "Don't bother," Luna said, frowning. "I see that my decisions don't matter." "Don't, Luna. Just don't."
Frozen sat at one of the tables and piled up several stacks of books and began to read through each of them, studyibg up on Alicorns and looking for a link between them and Windigos.
Celestia and Luna argued for about a half hour. Finally, Celestia had enough. "Fine, Luna. You don't ever have to talk to the windigo. You don't even have to see him. But we're not killing him, or banishing him." She got to the door, and she turned back with a look of disgust. "I can't believe you would even suggest banishment."
Celestia reentered the library, and noticed the sleeping windigo. She sighed slightly, and summoned a quilt. Gently, she concentrated, and her magic levitated Frozen without disturbing his slumber. She placed him in one of the many library couches, in a more comfortable position, and lay the quilt over him.
"You'll need a real room, until you find a permanent residence. Plus, I'm afraid Luna doesn't seem to have the ability to trust you yet." Celestia said briskly.
