I used a reference, for a drawing that complex I like to have some to refer to so I don't butcher it. Thank you Placid!
Do you like contests with long deadlines? I've recently started one, in fact, and would love any artist participation.
I've actually never really participated in a real art contest before Eight, but I'll think on it. And Turk, that was kinda the point!
Lots of art! inb4 anyone says it's sideways And I got on a little bit of a roll there as you can see:
This stuff is great. It's loads better than what I can do, and this stuff is hand-drawn most of the time. I can see you going higher with continued effort, for sure.
Well, at a drawing a night, I'm sure that classifies as 'continued effort' an soon I will have a tablet to work with along with my hand-drawn stuff
Drawing each day is the best way to improve. You're already doing something right and well. For a long time all my practice was by .5mm mechanical pencil. The lines are the most important part with ponies too, so once you get all that down, the uploading and inking can be learned quickly - especially since they use vector coloring a lot, and no shading really.
Spoiler: Yet more art Snow angry! Have I mentioned I hate drawing fillies? I forgot the horn on that last one
Nice job on the drawings. I also like the minimalistic background edits you did. Those looked really cool ^_^
