Yeah, I must admit, I was kinda wishing that picture was never made because it sorta forced me to picture Discord that way before we met him. I don't know why, but the thought of Discord not being a pony never crossed my mind. I don't even know why I didn't consider that. Oh well. The picture is still awesome, but now it has to be some other OC. Not that I thought someone in the fandom would've gotten it right on the first try. I'm just saying it kinda influenced my imagination. ^ Who is this awesome poster here? XD All kidding aside, part of "in due time" has passed. Now that I've seen more of Discord, I will say I'm definitely not disappointed. I love his character. I think that episode clip didn't do him justice because that gave a bad first impression. Now I can see he is not only a prankster type, but he is a serious threat to be reckoned with. He has that Jokeresque feel about him. He jokes around, but you know he's a formidable threat. I also love how his favorite element is Laughter. I think that's the closest he can get without saying his favorite pony is Pinkie. I know he's not saying that, but hey, a Pinkie fan can dream, can't he? I say that's close enough. So, Discord, I like your character, and your favorite Element choice. I think I'm ready for a storm of chaos. Heh. Heh. Heh. Oh, by the way, I don't dislike Discord for what he did to Pinkie. He's a villain, it's expected. Pinkie sounded kinda scary when she was first corrupted, when she said "I don't think so." That's why I have that as my avatar at the moment. As much as I don't like seeing Pinkie Pie angry, I don't mind a little out of character time every now and then.
That is true but I think they're past that point having him encased in stone. After the interview however with Faust, my hopes for a connection like this has been shot down a bit. At least for Season 2
