So I'm currently writing a fan-fiction in the aesthetic of superheroes. Thoughts?

As the title says, I'm writing a pony fan-fic with the superhero aesthetic. It will feature original superheroes, many of their secret identities being ponies you already know and love. Some genre elements it will have is action, of course, shipping, and it will have deep character interactions as well as plot lines. Here is the premise:

The town of Ponyville was shocked to learn that the Mysterious Mare Do Well was really a trio of ponies playing her at different times, and in this realization, a sort of sub-culture grew. One of fans and fanatics of fictional superheroes, both young and old.
But then one day, in a laboratory in Canterlot, a particular batch of black crystals retrieved from the site of King Sombra's ancient underground cave combusted, releasing strange magical radiation outwards in all directions. Many ponies seemed to gain weird and unusual powers because of this. . .

But I have to give you some knowledge on the structure of narrative. Chapters will be shorter than most fics, but they will be more abundant and frequent. I've simply tried writing 14,000 word chapters and it simply doesn't work for me. Chapters may be anywhere from 2,000 to 5,000 words long. And chapters will be called something like "Seed of Darkness #1," and "Seed of Darkness #2," to indicate what arc it's in, as if this were a comic book series, instead of subsequent chapters as you may be used to.

With that all said, what do you guys think? Would you be interested in reading such a story? I've been working on the first chapter for a few days, and it should be done within a week or two. Anyone who wants to see this when it comes out can send me a pm or follow me on FiMFiction here.
