"I don't," she agreed, resting her head on her hand. "But I've grown very good at making observations."
She paused before giving him a genuine smile, one that reached her eyes. "Don't fret, Gabe. It's not a big thing."
She raised her hands in surrender, laughing slightly. "Fine, fine. You have no regard for me whatsoever. In fact, you actively dislike me. Happy now?"
She rolled her eyes before resting her head on the table, her dark hair contrasting with the birch table. “Jerk. Eat your food.”
She sighed and folded the newspaper before standing up, heading to the fridge to grab two carrots and heading to the rabbit cage. "Want to help me feed them?"
