She gave him a look, sitting down and opening the cage. Two rabbits came out and she scratched between their ears before giving them their carrots.

“They’re rabbits, Gabe. How can you not like rabbits?”

 

She gasped, looking over her shoulder.

“You take that back.”

 

“I’ll kill you.”

 

“Why not? I’m an assassin.”

 

“Oh. I didn’t think you were ready to
make jokes.”

 

“I didn’t think we were close enough for that.”

 

“I’ve been a bit busy trying to escape you.”

 

She grinned before sighing.

“If I unlock you, you have to leave, okay?”

 

“Forgive me for not trusting you.”

 

She sighed and came over to him.

“Go to the front door.”
