"Definitely," he murmured, looking up at her. "Lots."
She laughed slightly, her thumb brushing his jaw. "Way more important."
He grinned before kissing under her earlobe.
She shuddered, laughing at herself. "You... you make me so happy..."
He tilted his head, his hand on her waist. "I'm glad."

She was asleep next to him, her face buried in his chest.
He shifted, not yet awake.
She woke up, still sleepy, blinking in the dim light of Gabe's room.
He turned slightly, sighing in sleep.
She smiled slightly, leaning down and kissing his jaw.
He yawned, his eyes fluttering.
Petra smiled, leaning back in her spot.
He looked over, his gaze softening as he propped himself up unsteadily. "Hey."
"Hi," she said, almost shyly.
"Did you sleep well?"
"No," she said, raising an eyebrow. "But that's understandable, right?"
He flushed. "Yeah that's fair."
She laughed, leaning down to kiss his cheek. "I love you."
