"Then I should probably head back to my apartment to get some planning done. You're too distracting."

 

"Yep," she said, slipping off the file cabinet and kissing his cheek. "I'll see you later."

 

"See you later," she said warmly, pulling away and heading for the door.

Petra was on her couch, reading through a case file.

 

She stood up, opening the door curiously.

 

Her smile was instant, and she came out to him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Hey, you."

 

She shrugged easily, rolling her eyes.

"I'm alright. I missed you."
