The door opened slowly and Petra peered out before a grin crossed her face. "Ah! Gabe! I'm so happy you're here. Come on in."
"I heard that!" she called from her bedroom, emerging with a small package. "I will pelt you with blueberries, I swear."
She grinned, pulling out her phone and opening the package. The glove was black and slim, with a small zipper across the back. "Here. Put this on."
“There’s a button on the wrist,” she said, gesturing. “It should produce a current that confuses the phone into replicating the behavior of a organic finger.”
She grinned, studying it for a moment. “It is, isn’t it? I’m not clever enough to go advanced with it, but I’d imagine it wouldn’t be difficult to get you to actually experience simulations of human touch in that arm again.”
She noticed, putting a hand on his forearm. "You don't have to agree to anything," she said kindly. "It's just a thought."
