She yelped with a mixture of amusement and surprise, flying down the aisle.
He followed, his eyes bright.
She hopped off and slowed the cart, hoping to surprise him.
He stopped quickly, his eyes widening. "I could've crashed into you!"
She laughed brightly, giving him a cheeky grin. “Yeah, but you didn’t.”
"But I could have!"
“But you wouldn’t have. You’re too fond.”
"I'm too fast."
“Fond, fast, same thing.”
"Not really."
“Well, why can’t you be both?”
"Just saying they aren't the same."
She sighed before shrugging. "I guess that's true. But... you are fond, right?"
"Yeah?"
She smirked, smug. "Good."
"So are you."
"Well, yeah. Of course I am. We're friends."
"Good."
She laughed before her gaze was caught by something on the shelf behind him.
He frowned, looking back.
