“You laughed at me! What else was I supposed to do?”

 

“I’m not the type of person to do that.”

 

“C’mon, Gabe.”

 

"Please?"

 

She grinned before tossing another cheeseball at him, settling down to watch the movie.

When the movie was finished, he would see that Petra was curled up under her blanket, her chin resting on her hand that sat upon the arm of the sofa. She was asleep, her lips slightly parted.

Petra was still asleep the next morning.

 

She stirred, sitting up with a yawn.
