"Oh, cool." Discord nodded, trying to seem nonchalant. This was killing him! If he didn't do something, he was either going to break down, or she was going to leave. He decided to try an indirect approach, something with some wiggle room. "So, uh, is there a King changeling?" He asked, trying to sound casual.
Chrysalis then stops in mid sip. She looks to him with a rather large amount of surprise. "No... Not to my knowledge... why do you ask?" She says, being unsure about this random question.
"Oh, uh... no reason. Just curious. Uh, a-about changelings. You know, just in general." He said, hurriedly, trying to look casual. Oh great, now he was starting to sweat. Since when did he even do that!?
Chrysalis then sighs. "Well, if you've been around ponies enough, you'd already know some about me int he slander of my kind. One of the obvious things is that we can shift into anypony we please. Though we can use our magic for offensive needs too, though we do have a bit more limited pool in that category compared to Unicorns and Alicorns." She says still not sure why Discord would be interested in any of this.
"I've seen you in action; I wouldn't say there was anything limited about your magic~" Discord cooed in response, before he could stop himself. He blushed. "I-I mean, uh..."
Chrysalis back up a bit, her face red from the sudden praise. She tried to calm down and she sighs. She has a feeling that Discord has something to tell her but won't.
Oh Tartarus; she looked even cuter when she blushed! He was hit by another strong urge to hold and kiss her, and jumped off the sofa, for fear of doing something stupid. "Uh... sorry; cramp!" He explained, and started doing incredibly unconvincing lunges around the room.
Chrysalis raises a brow and then giggles. The giggles then become a laugh. She has never seen him be this silly before either. This made her day for sure.
Chrysalis's laugh filled Discord's heart with joy, even if she was laughing at him. "Hey!" He said, starting to laugh himself. "It's not funny you know; It's a serious ailment I have here!"
Chrysalis then rolls her eyes as she giggles more. "Sure it is."She says in a sarcastic tone and laughed more. Discord was making her feel pretty good right now. Maybe the coffee was making her hyper too, who knows.
"Don't use that tone with me, Chrysi!" He chuckled, forgetting himself for a moment. He jumped on the sofa and attempted to exact his revenge by tickling her.
Chrysalis did a cute meep sound and rolled off the couch. "What are you trying to do?" She asks with a giggle. She was enjoying the playfulness of Discord now.
"Say you're sorry!" He insisted, heart skipping as he toyed with her. "Acknowledge cramp as a serious ailment!" He pressed forward with his tickle assault.
Chrysalis giggles more and wiggles uncontrollably. "Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! Not the tickles!!" She says as she gets tickled. She couldn't help but laugh.
Discord was sure of it know; he loved this mare, and could imagine nothing better than being by her side. "Oh... do you want me to stop?" He asked, in mock surprise, tickling extra hard.
"Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep! Meep!" Chrysalis says cutely, still wiggling violently. It seems Discord found some cuteness inside her after all. She was being a silly bughorse. "P-Pleeaase! Stahp!" She begs as she is tickled.
Discord chuckled, as happy as he'd ever been, and tickled a little less. "And what do I get if I do~?"
"This" Chrysalis says and kisses his cheek. "You silly tickler, you." She says and giggles. She was having fun with him and it was relaxing. This is what she needed honestly.
Discord stopped tickling, and started blushing and grinning like an idiot at the kiss. Correction; this was the happiest he'd ever been. "Habbawha..."
Chrysalis giggles and wiggles around. She was feeling very playful now and she buzzes happily. She was enjoying how goofy they were getting and it was a lot of fun.
