Discord recovered a little, and swept Chrysalis up, hugging the wiggling, buzzing changeling Queen happily. He chuckled with joy and held her close, before instinctively smelling her mane. It smelled of some exotic and complex spice; fitting for a mare so unique and beautiful as her, he thought.
Chrysalis blushes and goes silent. She felt like she was frozen when Discord held her in a warm, loving embrace. It felt so odd, yet it felt right. She didn't know why she didn't want it to end. She cuddles Discord and she lets the warmth take her.
Discord held her for what felt like an eternity; losing track of all time, before he finally worked up the courage to act. He gently relaxed his embrace a little, so that he could see Chrysalis' face, her hauntingly beautiful, intelligent, wonderful eyes... "Chrysi, I... I really like you," He said, feeling foolish as he said it, but not really caring anymore. "In fact, I think I might be in love with you..." He had done it now; the weight lifted from his chest. The die had been cast, and however it fell, at least he knew he had taken the chance.
Chrysalis felt her heart stop a moment. In Love? Is his what is odd behavior was about? He lover her? This was certainly a twist. She didn't know what to say and she could only blush and look away. She was suddenly really shy. It was so flattering indeed.
Discord had a strong desire to run, but he fought it, and remained where he was. "I- I'm sorry. Forget I said anything..." He muttered, fearing he had indeed screwed things up. How could he ever expect her to love him back?
Chrysalis felt bad. She gave him a kiss and blushes even more. It was odd but she felt similarly towards him. She was just too shy to say it.
Discord perked up at the kiss, and blinked in surprise. Did- did that mean...? Hesitantly, he raised a paw to her cheek, and, closing his eyes, tenderly pressed his lips to hers. His heart was racing, and he half-expected at any moment to be batted over the head, or zapped into arcane dust.
Chrysalis buzzes and giggles. She cuddles up to him and she makes cute little noises. She was in love with him too. It was a nice feeling.
Discord laid back on the sofa and cuddled the adorable Queen. He couldn't quite believe it was happening, and didn't want to do anything to upset the situation, so he simply wrapped his arms around her and held her close.
Chrysalis buzzes happily and cuddles Discord. She was feeling so happy. Her own heart finding something she never thought she could ever have. She always thought her heart was one that couldn't be won, but it seems to be untrue.
"I'm sorry I ran away," Discord said, quietly. "I didn't know how you'd react. I certainly never expected this..."
Discord smiled and nodded. "M'hm. Prettiest thing I've ever seen, and I've seen most everything~" He could've happily stayed there staring at her and listening to her adorable giggle all day.
Chrysalis blushes a deep red and makes cute noises. It was so flattering to have somepony admire her for her. It was hard to not blush.
Chrysalis giggles and kisses him back. She buzzes some to in delight. It was so nice to have somepony she can love. While it was a bit of a surprise at first, she is warming up to the idea.
He smiled, loving the way she buzzed when he kissed her, but felt there was a question he had to ask, even if he didn't really want to... "Um, I just have to ask, seeing as how you feed on love, is this going to work?" He looked at her sheepishly. "I mean, will you be feeding on me? If it means I can be with you, I'm perfectly happy with that, I just want to understand..."
"I cannot help my ability to feed, but I do share you emotions of love. I don't think it should be a problem if you aren't bothered by it." Chrysalis admitted. She blushes and giggles some.
