Discord shrugged. "Good enough for me!" He couldn't help but love her now, and if it had the added benefit of sustaining her, all the better! He was a little concerned that her feeding might unintentionally weaken him, but it was a risk he was willing to take. He smiled and kissed her cutely blushing cheek. "So... do you have anywhere to be? Or can you stay a while?" He asked, desperately hoping the later was the case.
Chrysalis sighs some. "I do have some business at my hive to take care of but I can return later if you like." She says to him with a soft smile.
"Oh, sure..." Discord said, a little sadly. "Unless... I mean, maybe I could come with you? I still haven't really seen your hive properly; only what I saw when we first met." He'd understand if she didn't want him bumbling around and getting in her way, but he thought it might be nice...
Chrysalis thought about it and maybe he could be of help to her. She did need somepony to help assist her with watching her changelings. "Sure, that shouldn't be a problem at all." She says with a smile.
"Hooray!" He said, grinning happily, before blushing a little at his over exuberance. "Um, I mean... that's good," He said, a little more calmly. "Do we have to go now? Or can we stay here a bit longer?"
Chrysalis then giggles some. "I actually do need to get going. My hive will be wonder where I am before too long." She point out.
"Okie dokes; your hive's probably nicer than my place anyway," Discord said, grinning. He clicked his talons, and they were teleported back to the Everfree, somewhere near Chrysalis' hive. Discord couldn't remember exactly where it was, so this was as close as he could get them.
Chrysalis smiles as they arrive surprisingly close. She heads on off knowing the path to the hive. She was happy to be getting home after being away from it so long. She hopes that the Changelings didn't think her as dead.
As they walked, Discord noticed buzzing coming from the trees around them; changeling scouts, he assumed. He just hoped they didn't blame him for their Queen's long absence...
Chrysalis giggles as Discord look around with a bit of worry in her face. Little does he know that Chrysalis has already communicated with the scouts. They will not bother him. The guards that camouflage themselves near the entrance watching as they enter.
Discord jumped a little in surprise as two changelings suddenly appeared to materialise out of nowhere, near the entrance to the hive. He blushed. "Uh... hi!" he said, waving as they walked past them into the hive.
Chrysalis giggles. "Some of my guards learn to blend in with the environment. It's good for sneak attacks and as a defensive mechanism." She says, noticing Discord being a bit jumpy at her guards suddenly 'appearing'.
Discord nodded. "Impressive, but I don't think it would work with you; you're far too unique and amazing to just blend in~" He grinned stupidly and kissed her cheek as they headed further into the hive.
Chrysalis blushes a bright red. He face hidden by the darkness of the hive. The only light is from their luminescent wild fungus that grows off the walls and ceiling. The dull light makes it rather peaceful when you know the changelings are not your enemy. Worker changelings pass by them in large numbers as they get into the epicenter of the tunnels of the hive. The center most part of the hive being the biggest room and Chrysalis's throne room. Unlike the caves, the luminescent light in here is a bit brighter. It seems the changelings have utilized the wild funguses and concentrated the light energy into this room. It's obvious that this hive is already a thousand years old, if not older. New hives wouldn't be this big or this organized. Guards adorn the ground of the throne room, making it the most guarded room in all the hive. The second most guarded rooms are the few construction sites there are.
"Ooh," Discord looked around the chamber, impressed. "I like this room; It's really... grandiose. Fitting for the home of such an impressive mare~" He smiled at Chrysalis, then took out a camera and took a few photos. He stroked his chin in thought. "Hmm... Perhaps I should have a throne room in my house..."
Chrysalis giggles and heads on over to the door behind her throne. At first there looked to be no door until Chrysalis touched the wall. A passage opens and it looks to be to her personal sleeping chamber. She steps in and giggles cutely.
"Oh..." Discord breathed, stepping in and blushing slightly. "This sure is... cosy," He couldn't believe he was there! A few weeks ago, he might have seen it as an ideal opportunity for mischief, but now... he was giddy with joy just to be allowed into her personal quarters.
Chrysalis stretches some and relaxes now that she is home. She uses her magic to grab what looks to be a clip board on the wall. She looks at the papers on it and she nods. It maybe a schedule or a to do or something.
Discord looked around and found something suitable to sit on; a chest of some sort, he assumed... "So, uh... what's on the list?" He asked, eager to see if he could help.
Chrysalis looks to Discord and giggles. "I keep a copy of my rounds schedule in here. My personal servant sets up the scheduled with what is most important to check first. I'm a busy Queen after all. Gotta make sure all the legs are working in the hive." She says with a bit of a tooth smile before looking down to her clip board again.
