John walked with Kyle, making sure there was nothing around. He was staying alert, he was tense, he didn't know what the hell these creatures were, although it did remind him of Fallout. Johns mini map showed no signs of movement, his objective pad was still the same, Survive. Why didn't it change? -Atop of a cliff- Two gods stood on a large hill, sensing the two humans. "Its time." One said. The other nodded and turned to a large braze colored metal object. He touched it, and the holes on the back opened up as it uncurled itself, steam flying in the air. The machine was rather a great wolf, its mechanic body shining in the light of day. The god looked up at it, staring into its red glowing eyes, "Kill the two beings that walk of skin." The creature took off, running at incredible speeds. The two gods teleported out of sight, leaving the beast to hunt its prey. -Meanwhile- John looked at Kyle then looked at a dead tree, "What happened here?" He asked firmly.
Kyle - "Alien invasion. They came for our resources, and we just happened to be on the menu. They started with chemical bombings, moved up to mutating the flora and fauna, and eventually decided to fight us themselves. The Kredins are not a foe to take lightly; New York lost divisions 2 and 7 to a small Kredin squadron." Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
A large series of screeches echoed from a nearby canyon. Jack was hacking and slashing his way through a horde of the strange, insect-like beings. He fought brutally; tearing off the insect's limbs, hacking off their heads. He was covered from head to toe with bleeding wounds and the insect's blood and organs. Piles of corpses painted the bottom of the canyon with horrific sights. Jack was surely outnumbered as more insects landed in to fight. Just as it looked like he was almost victorious, the insects began to surround and cover him, attacking him from all directions.
Walking along side Kyle, John saw he was... wobbling, "Hey, are you alright?" The man collapsed, John checked his blood pulse, nothing. He left the body behind, nearing some form of a canyon.
Jack had broken free of the latching pile of bugs and has slashed one upwards; It's dissected head flew up, spewing the bug's brain in all directions. He continued to defend himself as more bugs came in to help the others.
John continued to walk but took cover as one of the creatures zoomed past his head, joining an entire swarm. They were after something. He ran, shooting the giant insects.
