Cal's eyes widened and she summoned her claws. She would get to Ben somehow. She.. She had to. She dashed towards the lake, trying to find a way across as she used to claws to keep back the skeletons.
She would hear Puck call her name. The claw she swept out knocked several of the skeletons back in the water, but there were hundreds of them, reaching from the murky green water to grab at her feet.
Cal looked panicked, looking around for a solution before her eyes widened. She took a breath, attempting to use her claws to pick herself up and take her to the island.
The claws passed through her for a moment before they bound together, lifting her up. This was a very strange phenomenon, like an out of body experience.
He looked up at her, his eyes wide with panic. The hands pulled her towards the island. The blue light was fading rapidly, but Ben was no longer on the edge of the island.
As they set her down at the edge of the island, she would see the blue light in the center on the ruins, over a mass roughly Ben-sized. It was dying away as she approached.
The magic moved away from her hand, but she found she wasn't able to get more than a couple feet away from him. The magic seemed to be pooling around the base of his wings.
The magic had trickled away. In their place were blue wings made from shimmering Magyck, intricate and reminiscent of dragonfly wings. Ben shuddered, curling up more, his hands to his head.
She was able to move past the border now, and he was warm to touch. He groaned, his eyes fluttering open. They were still glowing.
