He landed gently back on the ground, brushing her hair back softly. "It's not that big of a deal, I suppose..."
He leaned into her touch gently, watching her. "I don't know that there's anything to figure out. It's just a matter of... you know. Accepting it."
He pulled her closer to him gently before kissing a soft line along her jaw. "I don't want to think about it right now."
She inhaled sharply in surprise and heavy blush crossed her cheeks. "Ben.. You ought to know what you're doing when you kiss an elf on the neck.." she said, laughing a little breathlessly. "That's a sensitive spot for us."
He looked up in surprise, pulling away slightly, his hands loosening at her side. "What...? Oh. Oh Gods. I'm so sorry."
She gave him a small smile, kissing his temple. Her voice sounded nervous most of the time, but it seemed to be clearer when she was with him. "It's okay, Ben. You don't have to apologize."
