He blinked, looking up at her. "When I made you forget, I went into your head and got some basic information," he said. "An unintentional side effect, I'm afraid."
"I'm sorry," he said, tilting his head. He did seem genuinely remorseful. "If it helps, I didn't get anything too deep."
"Hmm. Okay." He leaned back against the wall, raising an eyebrow and looking up at the barred window. "Who do you think is behind the stealing of the Magyck?"
He tilted his head, considering this. "I don't want to ask questions, anymore," he said after a moment, leaning his head back. "I'm tired."
"I got some information," she said, hugging him back. "Well.. Sorta. His name is Benedict.. He said he was messing with the Ortus to see how it worked. He said he didn't steal the Magyck."
